Mmh sorry but I’m don’t agree with everything. The only thing I hate about the new g3 is the battery, but for everything else I totally prefer them. I really feel them more comfortable on my face. The new N3 are pretty good buuut they’ve less battery and the same single usb-c port that’s a problem for me during work. Good deal for the price, perfect entry point for the digital Fpv world, but I choose g3 all the time.
COMPLETELY AGREE with you. The “cheaper” goggles are cheaper for a reason. To your point about the G3 battery…you can plug in an external power bank and still use the goggles.
@ I can use a power bank but not while streaming. I’m a drone operator and I need to use them during television streaming. With the oldest I was able to simply change the battery, and it was the perfect solution for me…
The Goggles 3 does come with protection padding that can be used for the lenses. Two different ones in fact. The first is attached to the battery pack and has cut-outs for the strap. Its made of a very soft material that will not scratch the lenses. It can be cut down to size to fit inside. The other is cut to fit tight inside the goggles and will fall out. You need to cut it out a bit more to get it to stay in after you remove the goggles from the entire package. The point is the foam protection is there, you just have to realize what it is.
I almost bought the cheaper set, but at the last minute, I bought the Goggles3. I am glad I did. I dont agree with a lot of what you are saying, but I do agree with some of it as well. Pro- Diopters for people who need glasses. Two sets 0 thru +8 and -2 thru +6. Since I am farsighted, I need the -2 set. I wish I could get to -2.5, but -2 is fine. Pro- The see-thru cameras. You say its not usable. LOL, I use it all the time. Can you drive a car with them, heck no, but I've walked 20 feet to the car to grab an item. I reach down and mess with stuff all the time, replace batteries, check my phone, even answer / send a quick text. I'm constantly double tapping the side or using the button to see-thru CON- The rubber seal sucks. Its designed to fit snug on your face by force from the hinge above. It works, but not as good as a strap and foam seal would have. I agree with you on that point. CON- Limited Control options. For the price every controller should work with it, even my phone.
V2s are the shit, actually miss them, having the ability to fit glasses inside is great but the detachable antenas are a hustle, yet they can be upgraded with third party ones
Rimzler what do think about the touch pad on the side of the goggles 2? Do you find them easy to navigate with than the other 5D buttons or did DJI swing and miss?
So I use it everyday cause G2 are still my main set of goggles, but yes pros and cons about any of those inputs Once I got used to the touchpad I feel like it's much quicker even tho I miss sometimes, the 5d pad is slower but more precise! I feel like DJI tried going all in on the G2 and realized they can cut corners on the G3, use cheaper stuff, and push them at the same price, that's why I hate them so much

N3 arrived just in time for me that I'm starting now with FPV. I've just received my Pocket. Maybe I could be ready to flight a 2S 2“ when the O4 lite will be available. I only have to resolve my fear of Lipo batteries 😅
I’ve flown thousands of packs over the years and I’ve never had a single lipo fire. But I monitor my packs well. If a battery gets damaged in a crash it gets thrown away instead of risking it. If a cell of a battery stops holding a charge, the battery is tossed. If internal resistance changes or any signs of abnormal heat after a flight, yep, it gets discharged to 0V, leads chopped off, and tossed.
@sketchpv3080 Thank you very much for the advice. To avoid being overly heroic (I've seen people on Reddit attempting to rebuild packs), steering clear of parallel charging, and adhering to low C rates, I should be able to maintain a reasonable level of safety. I plan to set up a recurring calendar to monitor the battery's state (charge and resistance) and conduct a visual inspection. Additionally, I've discovered containers called bat-safes, designed to contain fire outbreaks as much as possible. My concern is heightened as I live in a small apartment with my family. I'm thoroughly researching this because I want to minimize risks. Hence, I'd rather replace the battery than take any risks and am looking for an excellent charger that can provide all the necessary information for proper maintenance.

Thank you for suggesting that, I get a itch on my nose with the extra thin rubber, and yeah when securing them on the forehead I always have that mark, and if I have to take them off I have to undo, needs more time and it's just cumbersome compared to an elastic strap you can adjust, still a good foam like I have on the G2 is so comfy

I think for a beginner those are nice goggles. But I honestely do not think that the N3 are better than any other recent DJI goggles. They are better because they cheaper. More specificly a better entry point for beginners. That is it. N3 are a good entry level product. The goggles 3 are the just the best fpv goggles you can get at the moment.
If the G3 were 300/350$ I would say get those they are better, but for 670$ they are not worth the extra money But I get that in absolute they are better not considering the price

Review not approved, no even one chicken in the background, - doesn't count. 😂 I Lost my FPV (sink few days ago) just 5 battery left, I'm always taking fpv for my mates when we go for a trip. This was the show off front of my mates i did a dive 😂 ...well didn't fly dji FPV for a year - not enough JUICE! I build 5 powerful drones since I'm watching your channel - thx for great content ( still my favourite axisflying manta 3.6 self build ) Waiting for your build of super fast drone ....yt competition started already! mich würde echt mal interessieren was du mit all dem fpv zeug nach deinen tests machst. hast du ein riesen lager in deinem haus wo schon 100 copter rumliegen oder dekorierst du deine wände damit? oder schickst du das an die hersteller zurück? Informatives Video. Ich mag Boxgoggles, werde ich enttäucht sein im vergleich zur V2? Danke👍👍👍
Yea this video sounds more like facts based on his opinion and introduces nothing factually relevant that makes one better than the other because their are trades offs and that is reflected in the price tags and for good reason. The major take away for anyone wanting the condensed truth is that yes the N3 is cheaper but you get what you pay for. You get less than half of the functionality of the Goggles 3 for more than half of the price. The Goggles 3 has backward compatibility with pretty much all of the current gen aircraft from each tier being the Mavic 3 series, Air 3/3S, Mini 3/Pro, Mini 4 Pro, Avata 2, O3 and O4, and NEO. The N3s are compatible with... the NEO and Avata 2. This fact alone invalidates this entire video in my opinion. The term "entry level" is a marketing catch phrase aimed to get your attention. But once you consider the price of entry still being at least $500 no matter how you look at it, it price point of the N3 erodes because the "entry level" is limited to 2 drones that really don't do anything exceptional when compared to Non DJI drones in the same class.
Compatibility is gonna come for the N3, Is a new pair of goggles and they always take some time to make them compatible with older stuff The goggles 3 are not worth double the price that's why N3 are better value
I jumped into fpv with the avata 2, turns out for the same price I could have got goggles that work with all systems (not $1000 goggles 3 that only work with dji products), a remote controller, a tony whoop, cinewhoop and a freestyle drone and it still would have been cheaper, with better aftermarket support and way more customisability. Ah well
So bad! I should have gotten the DJI drone. It can be paired with Google Glass. But I already bought Fimi drone and it doesn't work with google glasses. I am going to replace the fimi and buy a DJI Air.
Man, you really hate G3 that much. The downsides you mentioned were subjective and you even used aftermarket parts in G2 to compare. Reserve the negativity until the release O4 air unit that might replace action cameras and make your quads fly lighter and better. IMO N3 looks ergonomically worse than G3, just like G1.
My hate comes from having to use the G3 every day when the avata2 came out, sure it can be subjective, but objectively they took the cheaper goggles integra, made them worse ergonomically and bumped up the price, that's why it's an inferior product to the G2 And true I added aftermarket parts on G2, spent 10$ on all of that extra stuff and now they feel so good it's unbelievable, can't do that with G3 as everything has been decided by DJI and can't be modified easily, so another reason to hate I'm looking so forward to the o4, just I will hate most probably having to switch from the G2 because DJI marketing tactics say it has to become unsupported
@@Rimzler no he means that literally everyone like these youtubers he said mostly say bullshit (the goggles 3 are just better you cant compare them), i mainly think ur a good reviewer because you actually freestyle the drone not like 90% just fly it and say "its awesome"
@@Rimzler I still think is good otherwise I won't be leaving a like and comment. But I feel is becoming another channel where anything new is always The Best, the reviews becoming more unpacking and looking at the product rather than testing it, the opinion is more generalised, and with the quads reviews the content is just a flying around one pack with the fear of crashing it.
yea alot more opinions than factual reasons to why It's better other than price point. you're trying to say that it's a comfortability factor and they're made better and the other ones feel cheaper. however, a lot of people are coming on here. say the likewise, I don't own a pair of n3 so I can't compare them. but as a goggles 3 owner, I have to agree with the other commenters on what you're saying is n't inaccurate. you're basing this review more on your feelings, more so than factual specifications
What's professional about the goggles 3 that you don't get in the n3? I'm complaining because none of the 2 are professional, I would like to have a pro version of goggles that's made to swap batteries, HDMI in and out, av in, good screens and ergonomics, both of this are toys compared to the goggles 2 and to the older V1 and v2
@@Rimzler The fact that you ask me this means that you don't understand the difference and for a youtuber who does reviews it is a serious limitation... To begin with the g3 screens are oled, they have a superior refresh rate which translates into higher quality and lower latency, lower weight, smaller footprint, better position on the face/nose, wireless transmission, are they enough?🤣
Having a couple of better specs doesn't make a product professional, by that standard the old Goggles 2 are even more professional Oleds are nice but trying both goggles it's a minimal thing and not worth more than double the price (also smaller screens than the G2 to go cheaper, but G3 cost the same) 99% of times you fly this goggles at max 60hz because they get paired with recording cameras, especially the o4, so not much missing here Form factor was better in G2, G3 have that horrible protrusion in the top
Goggles 3 are integra 2 basically, they should have been price reduced, and this generation of o4 goggles is missing a real professional goggle, that's my opinion
@@Rimzler they are not just a couple of specifications buddy, if you did not notice the big difference, I feel sorry for you. I also had the G2 and they are very uncomfortable and I am not the only one saying this... the only aspect in favor of the N3 is the price that allows even those who want to start to spend little. From an aesthetic point of view then the N3 I think are the ugliest product that DJI has made, having such a large and deep object forward is abominable. I do not want to argue with you anymore, we agree that we think differently
I care more about the quality of recording, and the best is 4/3 2.7k 60fps and then stabilize with gyroflow, can even use 100 but there is much less light coming into the sensor, if I only have to fly and not record a cheaper caddx vista will work better
@@Rimzler This is what really bothers me, honestly. That's why I'm still leaning to buy Walksnail, if I go digital. DJI's backward compatibility is horrible, and the same is their communication to customer. ... That's why I'm here, instead of reading spec on their websites. Maybe, is a very limiting for making decision like what digital platform one will migrate to. I also own Mini 4 Pro, alongside FPVs, and to find what is compatible with it, is a nightmare :D I don't need it, but it would be nice if I would, and I clearly know what is compatible.
How can an opinion be fake? This is what I think and I'm not trying to sell anything! There are people who agree and people who don't in the comments, so would like to know why you think what I say is not valid -Goggles N3 make a ton of sense for the price but not compatible yet with anything - Goggles 3 are a downgrade to G2 and they are not worth the price -G2 are still my fav, but will soon be incompatible because of DJI marketing This are my statements
@ I will be honest though, I have both set of goggles like you. And the screen size and picture quality on the cheaper N3 Goggles actually looks far superior!
I like people with straight opinions, agreeing or not is up to us but the video delivers what its supposed to deliver. Grazzie.

I don’t think it’s gonna be compatible with dji 03 air unit
Holding those Goggles with the lenses facing direct sunlight is real smart, bro.
Neo 3 is all about mirrors
Ahahhaahhahaha
@@Rimzlercheap you only get what you pay for
Try using the v3 headset correct it’s on a ratchet to close snug on your head
Not flop about
Read the instructions and try it out properly
I used g3 extensively, but still I hate the ergonomics when I am working have to put them on off talk to someone etc, goggles 2 are better
They are better because they cheaper. More specificly a better entry point for beginners. That is it.
N3 are a good entry level product. The goggles 3 are the just the best fpv goggles you can get at the moment.
If the G3 were 300/350$ I would say get those they are better, but for 670$ they are not worth the extra money
But I get that in absolute they are better not considering the price
Hola from Spain, I like my compact powerful with battery built in Integra goggles, fly avata , avata 2 and fpv drone, switching easily , good screen, range, vision, battery life, yes content why change ?! saludos from Spain, ps for travelling id take the quieter smaller better range avata 2,
Io sto ancora con i g2 preferisco in tutto e per tutto saluti.
Concordo pienamente, speriamo li rendano compatibili con le nuove uscite
To bad the N3 not support o3 air units.
It seems it really boils down to personal preference and budget...
If they dont make it compatible i am going to Walksnail
You forgot to say the most important thing....N3 don't have diopters, do they fit with eyeglasses?
they say yes
3:00
you forgot to actually watch the video 🤣
According to him it fits. Others said so when G1 were released. In reality, it's painful to wear it with glasses. Diopter is still the better option.
@@eatmykwad You can't, if you wear glasses they will come out. Did he test? Don't post if you don't know.
Looks like they are using that phone sales tactic now.
apple: iPhone, iPhone Pro, iPhone Pro Max
samsung: galaxy s, galaxy s+, galaxy s ultra
dji googles: google n3, google integra, google 3
They will make you think about either buying the cheapest one or the most expensive one.
GO .... 💪
Compatibility is gonna come for the N3, Is a new pair of goggles and they always take some time to make them compatible with older stuff
The goggles 3 are not worth double the price that's why N3 are better value
I jumped into fpv with the avata 2, turns out for the same price I could have got goggles that work with all systems (not $1000 goggles 3 that only work with dji products), a remote controller, a tony whoop, cinewhoop and a freestyle drone and it still would have been cheaper, with better aftermarket support and way more customisability. Ah well
100fps vs 60fps gameover already
So bad! I should have gotten the DJI drone. It can be paired with Google Glass. But I already bought Fimi drone and it doesn't work with google glasses. I am going to replace the fimi and buy a DJI Air.
What fimi drone?
Man, you really hate G3 that much. The downsides you mentioned were subjective and you even used aftermarket parts in G2 to compare. Reserve the negativity until the release O4 air unit that might replace action cameras and make your quads fly lighter and better. IMO N3 looks ergonomically worse than G3, just like G1.
My hate comes from having to use the G3 every day when the avata2 came out, sure it can be subjective, but objectively they took the cheaper goggles integra, made them worse ergonomically and bumped up the price, that's why it's an inferior product to the G2
And true I added aftermarket parts on G2, spent 10$ on all of that extra stuff and now they feel so good it's unbelievable, can't do that with G3 as everything has been decided by DJI and can't be modified easily, so another reason to hate
I'm looking so forward to the o4, just I will hate most probably having to switch from the G2 because DJI marketing tactics say it has to become unsupported

inner poopilary distance
Ahahahahha🍕🍕🍕🍕
Mate...you used to make some top content...please don’t go down the same path as DC or Captain Drone... it'll come back to bite you in the long run
Why do you think this not good content, please elaborate so I can do better☺️
@@Rimzler no he means that literally everyone like these youtubers he said mostly say bullshit (the goggles 3 are just better you cant compare them), i mainly think ur a good reviewer because you actually freestyle the drone not like 90% just fly it and say "its awesome"
@@Rimzlerdont take it srsly he just knows they really arent comparable even if they have some similar specs (idk)
@@Rimzler I still think is good otherwise I won't be leaving a like and comment. But I feel is becoming another channel where anything new is always The Best, the reviews becoming more unpacking and looking at the product rather than testing it, the opinion is more generalised, and with the quads reviews the content is just a flying around one pack with the fear of crashing it.
yea alot more opinions than factual reasons to why It's better other than price point. you're trying to say that it's a comfortability factor and they're made better and the other ones feel cheaper. however, a lot of people are coming on here. say the likewise, I don't own a pair of n3 so I can't compare them. but as a goggles 3 owner, I have to agree with the other commenters on what you're saying is n't inaccurate. you're basing this review more on your feelings, more so than factual specifications
lol sure until the 04 hits the scene.
too bad you can't play videos from your smartphone on them. It would be useful for the plane 😂
You said a lot of bullshit, the Goggles 3 are a professional product, the N3 are for gaming
Having a couple of better specs doesn't make a product professional, by that standard the old Goggles 2 are even more professional
Oleds are nice but trying both goggles it's a minimal thing and not worth more than double the price (also smaller screens than the G2 to go cheaper, but G3 cost the same)
99% of times you fly this goggles at max 60hz because they get paired with recording cameras, especially the o4, so not much missing here
Form factor was better in G2, G3 have that horrible protrusion in the top
Goggles 3.are awesome n3 60hz 😂😂😂😂
Yeah but with Avata, neo, and o3/o4 system you are going to be at 60 fps anyway for 99% of time
Nope @@Rimzler
If you care about recording yes, especially when the light gets low or indoors
@@Rimzler 100/4k 100fps. It only hits 60 if your at 120fps
Sounds like you need to know how to set them up correctly.
I care more about the quality of recording, and the best is 4/3 2.7k 60fps and then stabilize with gyroflow, can even use 100 but there is much less light coming into the sensor, if I only have to fly and not record a cheaper caddx vista will work better
I still love y DJI Goggles 3
Well they are technically the highest quality offering in this generation
I disagree. Seems like you are justifying them and you are entitled to your opinion. I believe Goggles 3 is superior in almost every way.
Incomplete comparison and almost useless, for those who have vision problems N3 CANNOT be used, the glasses do not fit inside,
Huh? I have seen people demonstrate their glasses fitting inside.

According to him it fits. Others said so when G1 were released. In reality, it's painful to wear it with glasses. Diopter is still the better option.
you killed the goggles 3 :-)

sad news googles N3 not comnpatible with air unit o3 for custom build
Not yet, maybe soon
@@Rimzler This is what really bothers me, honestly. That's why I'm still leaning to buy Walksnail, if I go digital. DJI's backward compatibility is horrible, and the same is their communication to customer. ... That's why I'm here, instead of reading spec on their websites.
Maybe, is a very limiting for making decision like what digital platform one will migrate to.
I also own Mini 4 Pro, alongside FPVs, and to find what is compatible with it, is a nightmare :D I don't need it, but it would be nice if I would, and I clearly know what is compatible.
I'm really sick of your fake opinions lately. It just seems like a used car salesman.
How can an opinion be fake? This is what I think and I'm not trying to sell anything!
There are people who agree and people who don't in the comments, so would like to know why you think what I say is not valid
-Goggles N3 make a ton of sense for the price but not compatible yet with anything
- Goggles 3 are a downgrade to G2 and they are not worth the price
-G2 are still my fav, but will soon be incompatible because of DJI marketing
This are my statements
Like trying to convince an Arab that ski boots are better to wear in the desert than sandals. What a lot of 💩
well if the ski boots are 100$ and the sandals r 400$ u will convince him xd
@ I will be honest though, I have both set of goggles like you. And the screen size and picture quality on the cheaper N3 Goggles actually looks far superior!
поздновато.
Why is late?
sheebeeleebeeleebee beelee sheebee leebee. Ok cool.. lol
Still not better than the V2's
V2 I loved them, but the new OLED can be so portable that I take the compromise
