@@maxbakos8628 The max I can go is only 30mph. That’s the same speed my 1000w e bike goes. So basically the “2500w” is a lie. It’s really more like 1000w.

AND ALSO GOT INSURANCE ON IT AND GOT MY MOTORCYCLE LICENE TOO ALL ON THE 20TH OF JULY, I AM GETTING UPSET AT DMV AND CALLED AND SAID THEY ARE BEHIND AND AS OF TUESDAY THEY HAVE ONLY GOTTEN TO JUNE 11TH REQUESTS. WHEN MONDAY COMES IT WILL BE 6 WEEKS WAITING FOR THE PLATES, HOPE YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO WAIT AS LONG. I MAY HAVE TO WAIT FOR A YEAR...
Mine came on Monday July 19th, The speedometer on mine is in KPH not MPH like you are saying, so you say 40-45 KPH right not MPH? that is only like 27 MPH, mine only went to 30 KPH =18.64 MPH. Well I unlocked the limiter and got it to 53 KPH = 33 mph top speed full charge. To unlock the top speed, key off then hold full throttle and hold front brake, make sure it is in power level 1, then turn key on then wait about 10 seconds then release throttle and brake then turn key off, wait a few seconds and turn back on and POW, you have the speed. Do the same thing to turn the limiter back on. By the way mine came missing the 6 bolts that bolt on the front fender and the right front brake reservoir dust cover, I got the bolts at home depot for $4 with vet discount. The size is #6 x 1.0 x 20mm.

@@tomthai6317 SINCE IT HAS NO PEDALS AND ELECTRIC POWERED IT QUALIFIES AS A MOPED AND REQUIRES MOPED PLATES AND A MOTORCYCLE LICENCE AND INSURANCE IN CALIFORNIA, REFERENCE PAGE 4 OF THE CALIFORNIA DMV MOTORCYCLE HANDBOOK. AND NOW LEGALLY CAN NOT GO OVER 30MPH ON ROAD, OFF ROAD UNLIMITED..... IF YOU RENT IT FOR 48HRS OR LESS A REGULAR CLASS C IS OK.

@@Usernotfound3042 STILL WAITING FOR THE PLATES FROM DMV, FORM 230 AND $23, SENT OUT FOR THEM JULY 20, PLUS FOUND OUT IT ONLY HAS A 35 AMP CONTROLLER ENOUGH FOR ONLY A 1000W MOTOR, SHOULD HAVE A 50-55 AMP FOR THE 2500W MOTOR, ONLY GOES 32MPH IN UNLIMITED MODE AND ONLY 18MPH IN STANDARD MODE,WHILE ALL OTHERS I KNOW OF GO OVER 50MPH IN UNLIMITED MODE. MINE ARRIVED ON JULY 19TH, STILL HAVEN'T LEFT THE YARD YET, HAD TO GET MOTORCYCLE LICENCE AND PLATES AND INSURANCE, DOT HELMET FOR "MOPED".

I don't exactly have the tools to put this thing together sure I could buy them but I wouldn't want to mess something up by attempting something that I know I shouldn't be doing
Tools usually come with the scooter. For everything else, go ask the neighbour :p
EDIT: Don't let doubt stop you, make mistakes and learn from them. That's how to grow.
It comes almost completely assembled you just have to place the front tire, mirrors and check if battery needs to be charged

How do you get plates for stuff like this?
Look up your state or city law on E-BIKES. If it drives below 40 no tag is needed and is street legal..but you need to check out the city codes for your state ..Florida you don't need a tag for E-BIKE

Depends on your location. Here in Iowa, USA, anything that goes faster than 20mph (but less than 40mph) without human assistance or has an electric motor bigger than 750w is classified as a moped. As such, a moped license is required to ride one here
I went 75 mph down hill and went 60 mph with two people on it
NOPE, NEVER HAPPENED AND NEVER WILL, YOU ARE CALLING KPH MPH, THEY ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE, STOCK SETUP WITH THESE BEST YOU CAN DO IS MAYBE 60 KPH WHICH IS 37.28 MPH DOWN A GOOD HILL WITH THE WIND BEHIND YOUR BACK AND FLAT LEVEL GROUND 53 KPH (32.93 MPH) WITH FULL PEAK CHARGE WITH MOST THE CHARGE AT MAYBE 50 KPH. I CALL BULLSHIT ON YOU. USE A GPS SPEED APP ON YOUR PHONE AND YOU WILL KNOW THAT YOU POSTED REAL SHIT.
I SWITCHED TO A Sabvoton 80 AMP CONTROLLER AND A 50 AH 72 VOLT BATTERY AND BEST I CAN DO IS 51 MPH WHICH IS 82 KPH. YOUR FULL OF CACA.

I FOUND THAT YOU CAN NOT CHANGE IT TO MPH AND ONLY IN THE UK THEY HAVE SPEEDOMETERS IN MPH BECAUSE THE LAW REQUIRES IT, YOU CAN BUY A REPLACEMENT SPEEDOMETER FOR THE UK IN MPH FOR ABOUT $50. I FOUND A PLACE THAT HAS THE PARTS FOR THIS. KEY WORD IS "CITY COCO SCOOTER PARTS".

These are scooters like the Razor kids scooters, they cannot be registered with the DMV. You just follow whatever scooter laws your town has.
