    This strength routine is based off of timed intervals instead of reps. This gives you more flexibility on whether you want to focus more on mass building or toning or somewhere in between. To focus on toning use lighter weights and move a bit faster for each repetition; so you can get in a few more repetitions overall. To focus on mass building pick as heavy a weight as you can control and move more slowly shooting for 6-8 repetitions per set.       FitnessBlender I love this kind of strength alternaring workout it is just so challenging and makes it painfully fun. I did one of this once plus kickboxing, it literally burned my whole upper body 😁 Tx a lot.

      ive come to be much more reliant on a timed interval structure for strength training, as opposed to reps, because it's breezier to work thru. i move thru the workout more slowly with reps because the pace will depend entirely on the speed at which im completing the sets, and personally without a timer going i tend to take more breaks in between, hence slowing down the work out, haha. thank u for yet another routine, u two ❤

      hi guys, i am a 13 year old who is overweight and i have worked out before but it has been a while now and now its been 6 days i think, since i started doing workouts again. i do exercises with difficulty of 5 or 4. despite being fat and overweight, i am kinda fit and healthy. could you please give me a workout plan that would help me burn off fat and get slim and fit quickly. please?.....thanks anyway guys

    MY FAVORITE WORKOUT CHANNEL! I LOVE KELLY’S SOOTHING VOICE AND HARD WORK, I ALWAYS WORK OUT WITH KELLY! . THIS IS MY GO TO EVERY TIME I WORK OUT WITH YOUR CHANNEL SINCE I CANT MAKE IT TO THE GYM.     Thank you for this workout! I like how one part of the body gets to „rest” while the other is doing the work, it feels easier - even though it's really not! - and the time passes faster. So I felt a power boost and searched for one more short arm workout :)

    After my warm up I chose 1, 10 & 11 for my workout. Arms were a bit sore from the other day, so I just reduced the weight of the dumbbells. And yes I did the cool down too, which I know is important as it makes me less sore the next day. These are sweet workouts when combined. Thanks guys, TCFN.

    Absolutely love this style of workout, please do more like it! I'm used to alternating reps on FB workouts but alternating straight into the other at the same time?? It was so different and really challenged me :)

    You mentioned gaining flexibility with this workout, is that what sets this routine apart from Kelli's smart upper body strength routine from a few weeks back?

    love these functional workouts. my left side is always weaker then the right and I find I cheat more on that side. this gives me a chance to really focus on building strength in that arm.

    I found this one to be a little challenging. Don't know why had trouble with the alternating repetitions. Maybe because not used to training this way. Been cleaning all day so took some time out to get some exercise in. Enjoy your day!

    Hey guys! I have a question about nutrition, I completely screwed up on healthy eating (I mean like every meal was not good for me) for about 3 days now and I’m completely discouraged like I lost all my progress; did I really just lose all the fitness progress I made?

    I've been following your guys videos for two months. I started working out to your videos everyday last June until everyone noticed the weight i've lost, then I just lose motivation. How can i have that motivation back? I went from 128 lbs to 115 lbs.

      Tess thats great how much weight you have lost! and the answer is simple! Find your "why" why are you losing weight? for what purpose? Find out that purpose and then things will be easier! it took me 3 years to lose 120+ lbs and I have been motivated and I have been un motivated, just realize that its a journey! Some days are more difficult than others but that is why you need to pinpoint why you are trying to lose weight so that it will motivate you!👍🏼
