I went for the 15 as it has one crucial benefit - the USB-C. It's way more important for me than screen refresh rate or how the materials feel when touched. As I'm already using external drives/card readers and chargers with the MBP and iPad, the iPhone 15 is so much more usable now that it finally has the universal port.
@@alii2284for me it's great, though I'm not playing games on it, probably that's where the difference would be more obvious with smoother animations. Some say once you go 120 you never go back but I can live without it I guess.
The biggest difference for camera system will actually be the ultrawide. Apart from the 3X zoom, of course.. the regular 15 straight up can’t even compete. The regular 15’s ultrawide, as with any other regular iPhones since iPhone 11 have inferior sensor, slower aperture of F/2.4 and doesn’t come with any sort of auto focus capabilities. iPhone 14 Pro ultrawide uses IMX633 sensor which is also found in iPhone 15 Pro, it has bigger sensor size of 1/2.55”, quicker aperture at F/2.2 and feature PDAF auto focus working together with LiDAR sensor. In daylight, the difference wouldn’t be as much but at medium to low light onwards, the difference in image/video quality is night and day. The regular iPhones output deteriorate quickly, much softer around the corners, lacking details because it doesn’t have auto focus capability and overall output is much darker with visible noise all around due to slower aperture. Also worth mentioning, even though they both have 48MP sensor.. 14 Pro and regular 15 have different sensor. The main 48MP camera for iPhone 14 Pro is the same sensor found in iPhone 15 Pro which is Sony IMX803. Featuring bigger sensor size of 1/1.28” and larger pixel size of 1.22um. It also has wider field of view of 24mm. The regular 15 uses slightly new design 48MP sensor but comes with smaller sensor size of 1/1.56” and smaller pixel size of 1.0um with narrower field of view of 26mm.
Same here, I bought the 15. I feel like this comparison is a bit tricky because it totally depends on where you’re from. In my country refurbished 14 Pros are 200€ more expensive than the 15 BRAND NEW, not worth the price at all for the 120 hz in this case.
In my country, a used 14 Pro with battery health between 86% and 92% is still 30-50 bucks more expensive than a 15 Plus that's only a few weeks old and 100% battery health, so I went with the 15 Plus.
Got the 15 over the 14 pro, because of the price difference being with around 200 euros cheaper in my country. The only main difference i see is the refresh rate and the telephoto zoom camera on 14, that is if you're a passionate photographer. Otherwise i don't care about a "better built" quality, as i'm using it with an anti shock phone case and screen protector so its as good as any in terms of durability. If you're based in europe, and you don't give a damn about that zoom camera or higher refresh rate, go for the 15 - you will save up a decent amount of money and get pretty much the same device.
Hello do you think that if you want to capture or a shot video of something that's far from you such as you are sitting in a concert very far or anything that's far, do you think a regular iphone 15 gives you that quality than a pro model and it's perfect zoom
I am thinking of buying a battery that lasts long and should be smooth. I am in a dilemma to choose between 15 plus or 14 pro. I don't play heavy games most of the time I am on my phone phoning , video calling for work and I consume movies when I arrive home. Please suggest me one that would fit my day to day usage.
Not sure if the camera settings are set to a different default Photographic Style, but the iPhone 14 Pro rear camera is definitely more neutral/warmer compared to the 15 here which I notice as leaning toward a cooler blue. The dogs white fur, the leaves, the stones around the pool, side by side the color temp was the first thing I noticed.
I switched from iPhone 14 Pro to iPhone 15, I don't mind about the 60 hz but the camera is big improvement for me. The camera in iPhone 15 itself is more detailed and not Oversharped and Overprocessed anymore which is the best upgrade so far!
Lmao stop spreading misinformation on the internet. 14 pro doesn’t oversharpen on iOS 17 anymore. And pro raw will be better than any photo in iPhone 15. You downgraded your phone nice job👍🏾
You made big mistake, yourare absolutely downgraded not upgrade I have iPhone 15 my friend has 14 pro we compared camera side by side the 14 pro is better natural looking photos especially zoom.
In my country for the same price its between iphone 15 512 GB or iphone 14 pro 256 GB and i have no idea what i should prioratize. (Im an android user thinking to switch)
The telephoto lens is a bigger advantage in my opinion. The USB type C may be worth it to go for the 15 instead, especially if you use other usb-c devices or you like to transfer files with your phone to your computer/ssd.
Carriers still had deal for the 13 mini 14Pros & 14Plus. What makes it interesting is the 13Series uses A15 chipsets, but so does the base 14, the 14Pros A16, now base 15 gets A16 & 15Pro A17. Wondering if 2021/2022/2023 iphones will have 7 years of support due to the chipsets being re used. I think its time apple came down in price as well as other smartphones. Instead of contract agreements we lease our phones. They wonder why iphone sales are going down, people who got the 13Pro are just laughing at 14 lineup, & 15 lineup. The iPhones are so similar. The notch vs dynamic island. The notch is worse imo, it takes up more screen. Like was it worth it? I always want to just move it in place. Push it to the border lol. The iphone OS is great but very boring and stagnant for years. Now the phones are too. Somethings gotta give!
So I can buy 15 for 300-400€ less than 14 pro.Ita obvious that 15 is the right choice but the 60hz thing is a bummer. Also it's funny that in my country 15 pro is like 30€ more expensive than 14 pro 😂😂 and 80€ more than 13 pro 😂😂

how's your experience so far? do you notice the 60hz screen? I'm not sure which one to get

In my country the 14 pro is about 150-200 bucks more expensive so Im going with the 15.
Same here lol 😂
The 14 Pro is a collectors Item

Watching on a Galaxy s23 ultra on 2160p and the iPhone 14 pro definitely looks a lot better than the 15. iPhone 14 Pro > iPhone 15

good choice. Plus it comes with 17 out of the box.

14 pro! Really a super phone
Must go iphone 14 pro... As you saying ❤❤❤❤ Do a giveaway sir.. If possible.....
but what about the type c port, & 24 mbpixel higher quality pics?

but we got the 2x zoom from the main camera tho. so both have zoom now@@CFC.NobarR
Bigger main sensor on 14 Pro. 1/1.28 vs 1/1.56. 14 Pro has RAW
I got 15 just cuz 14 pro in my country is more expensive than 15, and 15 was on sale, so why not
I don’t try to look for anything but can see a yellow tint on what should be white on 14 pro where as with the 15 the white looks white
U forgot the usb c

14 pro is 40% higher here
14pro much heavier which I don’t really like
I'll skip the 15

i am fine with 60hz.
The weigh of the iphone 15 itself make the 14 pro become a literally garbage
