She don't speak for all Black , she speak for those who are ready for real change reconciliation.
It's a fact that all Black want changes to Africa or their conditions . Some are born desiring to be slave. Many who accept their faith will be left behind. While some will die fighting as they did in the past for future generations.

We know we have been shortchanged, defrauded, oppressed, ridiculed and subjugated on all sides. Further talks about it is well in order, for as many as possible, to learn. But what is vitally important is action to get us out of bondage; less talk, more action. Let's make conscious effort to not be as we have derogatorily been referred to/ described. God bless Africa.

Mrs./Dr. Ambassador, you speak eloquently and with love and understanding. I realize the USA didn’t colonize Africa (except for Liberia) which is probably the reason Africans have high regard for her and want to align with her. Every country need allies and Africa could certainly benefit from a UNIFIED army for the entirety of the continent! But can you feel the pain of those who were enslaved in this country? With all respect, as an ADOS, I feel we are owed reparations from this country. Where do you and members of the AU stand on the ADOS movement? Why are you and so many Africans in love with a country that continues to murder innocent Black men, Black women, and Black children with impunity? Would you feel differently if the innocent blood was that of an African immigrant? Why do you trust her so? Why should Africans born in America, particularly ADOS, trust you and the AU? Why not partner, first, with ADOS? Anyhow....

They are the ultimate welfare queens! What ADOS has received is chump change. If this country paid us what they owe us we would own it all. I'm sure you may wonder why? My ancestors built the foundation of the United States. They were promised 40 acres and and a mule which would have given us generational wealth. And we never got it. You can be sure that those plantation families still reap the benefits of my ancestors enslavement. And don't get me started on how whenever we begin to progress then came Jim crow, the destruction of black wall street, black codes, redlining, unauthorized medical experiments, poisonous vaccines, police executions of innocent black people and centuries of torture and false imprisonment. IT'S TIME FOR THIS EVIL GOVERNMENT TO GIVE US OUR MONEY BAG!

She would not be doing her job well or responsibly if she used the power of her voice in this interview to express her disdain with Trump or the U.S. A true well-meaning ambassador will remain PUBLICLY neutral, as she has done, in hopes of not tarnishing the view of an improved relationship with America in the bigger picture of it all. I admire the ambassador immensely, but it's disappointing to hear her believe the U.S. to be an ally or a BFF based on its colonial past. As a descendant of those who were enslaved here-- who suffered under Jim Crow and have been repeatedly and viciously victimized by laws leading to segregated neighborhoods and schools, job discrimination, an unending wealth gap, disparities in healthcare and child mortality rates and, of course, mass incarceration-- it feels like a slap in the face for one designated to call the diaspora home to desire such chumminess with one so anti everything we are. I don't know if this is shortsightedness or literal ignorance on her part, but after having spent 40 years in this country, how can she not know about America's gross history of anti-blackness even up to this current day? At a recent pan-African conference, I heard her talk about how the diaspora outside the continent should consider investing in a general fund to help build infrastructure on the continent. Thinking of those words while I listen to these sounds like the aim is to use us while ignoring us at the same time. Sort of like the Democratic party has done for 50 years. I do strongly believe the diaspora should turn attention and resources to the Mother continent, her words should caution us to ONLY do so on our terms and, frankly, to leverage our funds and resources wisely. When it's all said and done, all we got is us.

ALL of that is right on point... and if the diaspora, whom I believe in our hearts that some (many?) WANT to genuinely invest our attention and resources there, one thing mother Africa (or rather the countries within her) should in return offer the diaspora AUTOMATIC DUAL CITIZENSHIP with land or at least full/infinite ownership/partnership of any land purchases made, etc. with NO FUNNY BUSINESS. NOT for the diaspora to go there to exploit anything or anybody, but also not to BE exploited either. This way we CAN come together as a UNITED front and work together to develop for the total well being of Africa and the diaspora as one.

The interviewer is just engaged in intelligence gathering. A friendly game of cat and mouse. American history speaks volumes about its devalued assessment black people from around the world. The underlining truth of the conversation is ... allies and enemies, friends or foe, Internatioal diplomacy, temporary alliances. Africa has been wounded for centuries and is now ready to play on the world stage. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

This lady conducting the interview is terrible..with her Trump obsession. If you called the good Dr. there to try to put her and Africa on your Trump Hate and incite Negativity between the two, you should have not wasted your time. What an embarassment. God Bless Africa rising, God bless the Doctor, and God Bless President Trump.

I wouldn't be too offended by any comments made by Donald Trump in whatever context or position he found himself in. Many institutions may find itself prey to people not endowed with a great sense of wisdom, let alone a high sense of intelligence perhaps.

He meant everything he said we as the descendants of slaves in America live like everything he said there is no respect on the planet for black people there's no place for black people to call home except for mother Africa therefore we wish that you would stop entertaining these Caucasians and these Asians about their dealings with our only home recognize that African people are no more respected than the descendants of slaves if you believe in one minute if there's any place on this planet other than Africa and Haiti and a few Islands were black people are respected and treated like equals you are delusional Trump meant everything he said about Africans but if you don't believe it I can show you better than I can tell you it is a very good reason why Africans and African-Americans are treated the way we are treated all over the globe and it has nothing to do with us and everything to do with them
