    The last 30 seconds of this fight epitomises what Ali was all about, he knew he just had to finish to win. Yet after absorbing all Shavers bombs, being way past his best and not in the best of shape he still went for the KO when the opportunity arose.

      That's because Liston and Foreman couldn't hit the younger, faster, quicker Ali. If Shavers fought Ali in 1964-1967 or even 1974 Shavers wouldn't have been able to hit Ali either.

      @HerrinSchadenfreude 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      @@SzebasztianAdrianSarköziSo now You're gonna tell us what Ali meant when he said that? You sound ignorant. Ali wasn't the only one that said that about Shavers. Play acting aside Ali is getting thumped here.
    Ali added a whole new level to the psychological tactic of “When you’re strong act weak and when you’re weak act strong”.
    Ali added “When you’re weak act even more weak so they’ll think that you’re baiting them” 😂🤣
    They think he’s baiting them so they’ll say to themselves “I’m not falling for that old trick, I’m gonna hang back a bit”.

    I believed American media had simply over popularized Ali. It was clear Shaver outscores Ali throwing punches at Ali's face especially his mouth despite his reach advantage Ali uses his hands outstretched to prevent Shaver coming to him and Shaver had successfully cut Ali's reach advantage. Ali failed to prove that he's the greatest in front of so many spectator the judges has made a very serious blunder!
