I appreciate that your videos are calm and portray the work itself. You do not line your videos with annoying headache inducing 'TH-camr music,' and I can take what works from what you are doing without feeling like I'm sitting at a bad party in high school. There isn't a schtick and i can just calmly learn something. Usually watching stuff like this requires tolerance. I finished your video still feeling calm. Thank you, from a guy with severe ptsd.
Amen to what you said and its country specific, if you say, watch a video from "Japan" they will place the music in a different way and tend towards "jazz" New zealand rock ... england "techno, electronic " its all annoying !

The blade on your rotary cutter will stay sharp a lot longer if you use a wood straight edge, instead of glue I used household staples on tricky sections but with enough practice you really don’t need anything. You just have to learn how to feed both materials at the same tension. Nice work, the bike looks awesome
I’ve been stitching up some vinyl projects, too. Seems dirty but it’s not. ;) also, learning bias, stretch, warping, and edge issues of vinyl and fabric takes some getting used to. Great to see you filming again! Cool project! Will watch again!
I recommend cechaflo TH-cam channel to learn upholstery stuff. I've learned an insane amount from him. Also. Staple all your seams. Then sew. Then remove staples. Easy peasy
If you're having trouble holding things temporarily on vinyl..seamstick basting tape. It's repositionable, tacks REALLY well and is cheap. I get it at Sailrite. It holds pretty much anything I do together unless it's just too nappy (like a felt/wool/fleece/etc). Works for leather too...upholstery grade chrome tan or veg.
@@NGinuity 20 needle & 92 bonded polyester thread. On both top & bobbin. Brand hammer new juki 1508 and tensions correct on same material without seamstick from sailrite. As soon as sewing through the seamstick it breaks the top thread every time.
@@rcamoonpie648 something is definitely not right. I've literally seen through seamstick all day with weaker v69 nylon thread and a 17 needle with no thread breaks. In fact the only annoyance was that the seamstick left a clump at the top of the needle from all the residue build up that I had to clean off. Sorry you're having trouble, you definitely have my attention with that issue. A 20 needle with bonded 92 makes a huge hole.
I work in upholstery, although I'm definitly not a pro... Usualy we would put sewing marks all across the edge to sew, when making the template. We then sew lining up the marks while sewing, and push/pull matter to fit properly. But that would we more appropriate when making fabric template on the saddle, not paper as you do... paper works fine for simple stright shapes but you might have to use fabric if you ever work on a more complex shaped saddle!
Fan from Hong Kong!! I’m obsessed with crafting. I set up an instagram shop but I genuinely don’t know how can i make my products known. I’ve got ideas but sad to say that i have not idea to sale it.(14yo girl)
@Stock and Barrel Co I've learned so much from you guys, such a huge inspiration! I have one question though.. On social media like youtube and instagram, do you try and engage with more people who are interested in learning about starting leather craft or the people who are more interested and likely to buy your products? Just asking because I'm starting a leather business myself and I'm not sure what kind of content to post. Thank you guys for all the great stuff you've done!
Good job man. Great bikes too! I am curious how the TechSew does on that vinyl. I am doing a fair bit of upholstery like that (actually massage, medical, chiropractic tables, etc) and I was thinking about getting that 2750, or maybe the 2750 Pro (not sure the diff). I really want to use it for leather but that vinyl thing keeps popping up too.

Great! Ive just cut the nose off a CRF250L seat as ive extended the tank for more range. This video is EXACTLY what i was looking for. Cheers.
Please make more frequent videos you are awesome and we all love this channel
That was really helpful. I'm going to give that a go. Thank you.
Your craftsmanship skills is outstanding! Great demo video! Much appreciated! Have a great day!
Thanks for this video. I am in the process of making my zr7 seat into a single seater. Now I have a better plan of attack.
Welcome back Parker!! We missed you guys.
Thanks Robert! More to come:)

Great to see you back! I've just been asked to dabble in motorcycle seats.
Thanks! It's tricky, but do-able:)
Really love seeing that process leather or vinyl....its just COOL!
Thanks pop!
You guys are my favorite!!! How I started leather crafting
Great video!! Thanks for sharing 👍
You all are awesome, keep up the great work
Thanks Andy!
All well and good. I was looking to use real leather on my ACE saddle and pillion. I half assed a cover using that stuff. It's held up for 5 or 6 yrs.
I had ordered the No.54 Wallet. And i LOVEE it. Love from the Netherlands x
So glad to hear that, thank you!
Very nicely done. French seams are great on motorcycle seats (vinyl or leather).
Glad you're back on youtube... Ive just started redoing a motorcycle seat as well...very excited that i saw this video!

Oh, also, this is a good opportunity to get a good compressor and a fine wire pneumatic stapler from BeA. I’m upholstering everything now!
So happy to see you posting a video really missing it
Thanks Fabio, more to come! I'll be re-prioritizing the youtube. vids starting next week.
The bike is on point
That looks great, such a simple method too.
Thanks Rob:)
@@whitandpark It looks way better than the 'in situ' job I had to do on a scooter recently.
I'm not an upholstery pro, but I have seen a pro use glue when putting pieces together for sewing. Use what works to make a quality product. 👍

I was going to suggest the same, staples are king!!
This makes me want to do my scooter 🛵 now
Awesome Motorcycle congrats !
Thank you!
Great job - what the music track you've put at the beginning & end of the video called?
Parker! We've really missed your videos here at TH-cam, we know you post on IG Tv but it's a really different sphere here.

Seamstick on slight curves, for those I'd staple it.
I'm one who likes while the video is still buffering

It does great with vinyl! I probably wouldn't use it for anything lighter than that. But as for this project it did a great job:)

Have you checked out JUKI LU 1510N-7?
So happy to see a new video? Question: Are you stapling (weird word) to plastic?
Thanks Sandy! Yes it's going into a plastic seat base
For complex shapes I have see people use plastic wrap and duck tape. I'm sure you can find this one on youtube.
It sure would be nice to have you guys come back to the tube...just sayin
Vroom vroom
I have a Harley trike can u make a seat belt for it
❤👍❤👍❤👍
Just use a simple spray tack to hold while you work....NOT PERMENANT SPRAY GLUE....just spray tack
Have you ever thought about doing lessons on line
