Brilliant fault finding video guys. Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks
Using a 14900K on a low end board is also one fault. Actualy using a 14900K at all at the moment is another fault. 😁
Knew someone would point the 11th fault out and it's hard to argue with the 12th as well
@@ChristopherFlannigan 🤣🤣🤣
Flush that cpu down the toilet
@@RohanSanjith Perhaps a better idea to wait for the bios uppdates instead. I think this CPU mite very lightly used for build videos. 🙂
A thrilling investigation with the worst possible outcome.
Thanks
Really useful to see troubleshooting in real life. it's really useful to be able to swap components from another PC, which is why I usually keep my old PC about. At least I can check the PSU and GPU even if the motherboards, chipsets and RAM are different generations.
Very useful when something goes wrong or if you need to send a part away for repair
Good video. Very informative. Good to know that too many installed standoffs can damage a pc.🎉
Lots of learning in this one
@@ChristopherFlannigan Psu tester on aliexpress is 4€, also a good tool to have. Would a board with a two digit display point right away at cpu/socket?
@@markod7662 not sure as I haven't had this issue yet
01:20 *Hah!* I just spotted something fishy with the RAM! This is gonna be fun! (Welcome back to the channel, Declan! 🙌🏼)
Hopefully you spotted a few more further on
@@ChristopherFlannigan 👍🏼
Excellent video, so many thing wrong. This is a good learning video for PC builders when things do not work as they should.
Thanks
I don't use the top slot m.2 because it slows the graphics card pcie slot from 16x to 8x mine has 5 slots anyway so losing one isn't that bad
In this board it is ok, but you need to be careful with intel boards
I’m getting old but I thought I heard when he went over the specs that it was a B650M motherboard with an Intel 14900K. A B650 motherboard is an AMD board not an Intel board. So this wouldn’t have posted and would more than likely damage the motherboard using the incorrect CPU with that motherboard.
That would be a very expensive video
@@ChristopherFlanniganyou do say B650M lol
Thank you, gentlemen! 🙏🏼👍🏼
Your welcome and thanks for watching
Hi Christopher,
I have a Deepcool Mystique 360 Software problem!
I Getting a JavaScript error while installing DeepCool-1.1.20-setup software.
Do you have a link to an older working version for windows 10?
I don't want to install win 11!
I can't find any older version on their site, thanks in advance!
when I saw the standoffs in wrong space, i didn't know why you risked it. But the fact the MB was damaged before, made it clear. Good video.
Yes woundn't have done that with a working board
👍very informative!
I came across this channel when looking for videos about building a PC (I built a new PC a few months ago). I appreciated the video enough that I subscribed to your channel then. Fortunately, when I did my build I didn't run into any problems.
I just came across this video and found it very instructive. Thanks for creating it.
Great video. I've just built my first PC and this sort of video, the clarity of the troubleshooting and the step by step instructions are brilliant. Great job lads. Thanks
This new series of videos on how to repair a PC is very interesting! And that power supply tester looks very handy, I didn't know this kind of tool existed...
Thanks Christopher & Declan.
Really enjoyed that! I'm pretty new to building PC's and not getting a post on my build is a huge fear. I hate having my immediate reaction be "take it to Microcenter!" so it's nice to see some troubleshooting steps. Thanks!
Nicely done. Did he ever notice that the MB a B650 is not an Intel mb but a AMD mb and the pins in the socket probably were damaged when an Intel CPU was put in the AMD MB?
Go Northern Ireland! ❤
We are from Northern Ireland
@@ChristopherFlannigan fixed, very sorry! loving your channel and videos 👍
Is that the Titanic in the background.
Yes my wife builds the lego
When you put the CPU in the 2nd MB did you check to see if the MB was the same model or series even?
Valubale video🥰 thanks
Glad you think so!
Why is the m.2 drive not having its cooling pad.
What a great video
Glad you think so!
