Using a 14900K on a low end board is also one fault. Actualy using a 14900K at all at the moment is another fault. 😁

Knew someone would point the 11th fault out and it's hard to argue with the 12th as well

Really useful to see troubleshooting in real life. it's really useful to be able to swap components from another PC, which is why I usually keep my old PC about. At least I can check the PSU and GPU even if the motherboards, chipsets and RAM are different generations.

I don't use the top slot m.2 because it slows the graphics card pcie slot from 16x to 8x mine has 5 slots anyway so losing one isn't that bad

In this board it is ok, but you need to be careful with intel boards

I’m getting old but I thought I heard when he went over the specs that it was a B650M motherboard with an Intel 14900K. A B650 motherboard is an AMD board not an Intel board. So this wouldn’t have posted and would more than likely damage the motherboard using the incorrect CPU with that motherboard.

when I saw the standoffs in wrong space, i didn't know why you risked it. But the fact the MB was damaged before, made it clear. Good video.

I came across this channel when looking for videos about building a PC (I built a new PC a few months ago). I appreciated the video enough that I subscribed to your channel then. Fortunately, when I did my build I didn't run into any problems.
I just came across this video and found it very instructive. Thanks for creating it.

Nicely done. Did he ever notice that the MB a B650 is not an Intel mb but a AMD mb and the pins in the socket probably were damaged when an Intel CPU was put in the AMD MB?
