TB reached out after seeing this video "explaining" that it isn't a missing feature, but rather it means a different feature (although there was no clarification on what exactly)...all I can assume is wireless connection to their headsets although as tested and reported from other sources, that isn't possible either. Because they are adamant the feature isn't missing (although Xbox wireless is the wireless protocol to connect controllers to the Xbox) I have renamed the video slightly to reflect the confusion this "feature" has caused, and I wanted to thank the Stealth owner's who pointed out this feature and requested I address it in a video. I hope I was able to do that :)
After figuring out I have to use a USB extension cable to even get it to work on my series x, it has been great. No drops or disconnects. I really like the controller but am not impressed with their customer support at all
In case anyone wanted to use the Manba on your Series X or Xbox One and you have a Cronus, you have to plug an Xbox controller on the left side first then the Manba dongle in the front. The Xbox controller is needed for the Cronus to "convert" the Manba into an Xbox controller. Make sure your Manba is powered on before plugging in the dongle. The Manba will automatically go into PC mode which is what you want.
I can't use the short trigger function anymore on the Stealth Ultra because if I hold it down too hard while in short mode, it no longer registers and I'm just pointing a gun at my opponent while he shreds me. So I can only use the short function for AIM only. On the trigger, ( in short mode), you can see it sinking down at an angle like it's ready to break.
I very much enjoyed the review you put out about the TB controller. I was considering it, but I always prefer wireless without a dongle. TB are such scammers for not clarifying or fixing the problems. Thanks, again.
I bought this today and it connected wirelessly right after I wired it and turn on and off. the next start up was wireless without any dongle. zero issues
I have the stick plugged into the back of the console no issues, setting up Bluetooth is a pain but yes works. The Bluetooth has to be fully set in the controller system and paired. It forgets the device sometimes and will fight the connection at times. But yes it will work. The stick on the side of the base will plug into the back and provide a stable connection with zero issues
I'm really enjoying the Manba over this one. And I found that you CAN map the thumb stick clicks to the back buttons in macros mode. I use Manba with a Cronus and it works on Xbox Series X. It works with the dongle wireless too. Matter of fact, my character is super fast responsive when using the dongle. If I try going into wired mode, Manba only allows me to be in Nintendo Switch Mode. I found my character is slow in that mode. This is the first controller that is faster in wireless mode.
Sorta off topic: I just got the Turtle Beach controller and consider replacing my Elite 2 with it.. however this controller makes my hands super sweaty compared to the Xbox Elite. Did anyone notice the same? What can i do about it? Are there "add-on grips" that are more breathable?
I've been using the Stealth Ultra since January. It's hands down the best. Everything fits me. However.... It's shuts off.. Often. I can't figure out why. It has the most current software. It's always when I'm in a race or game and it just turns off. And it's hard to reset it. I have contacted turtle beach about it but so far, no response. I'm finding myself not using it. Or plugging it in. I'm so frustrated. Has anyone else experienced this?
never understood why they called it stealth when its the only controller in their line up with RGB and considering the mound of extra features, itd make sence for a sub-rebranding
I have one the only issue i have with this controller so far is the placement of the select button if you play games like GTA online this button is to close to the analogue stick to get the interactive menu out and the turtle beach app on the Xbox says you can reassign the select button for a back button but when you go onto the controller it doesn't give you this choice . So might buy the Razer V3 as the buttons are better spaced out . and i also own the Xbox elite 2s and been through 6 controllers they are crap just cheap insides with heavy vibration weights to make the controller feel expensive and the rubber still comes off , RB issues , stick drifted and Microsoft do not care as they say its how you use the controller plus you only get 6 months warranty so not great considering how much an Xbox elite controller costs .
I imagine the feature is for pairing to a replacement or second dongle, rather than to an Xbox directly. Could definitely be clearer if that's the case, though! I'm sad to say that I'm returning mine. I was so excited for it, but the sticks are too short and the grips on them just aren't as good as a regular ole Xbox controller. The modest grips on Stealth Ultra result in me pressing harder on the right stick than usual in attempt to grip it, which causes my thumb to cramp. I wish there was longer option as well and really don't like the caps that can be placed on top. Also, the shoulder buttons don't have a clear enough click to let me know I pressed them, leaving me second guessing myself when trying to spot players in BF2042 and nothing is happening (sometimes the players a near a beacon that prevents me from spotting them. other times it's me or the controller). I also find myself pressing the inner 2 paddles by mistake a LOT, because they're so easy to press that any time I let go of the controller with one hand, the weight of the controller ends up on the paddle in my other hand. Battery life and app could be a lot better as well (I had RGB off and screen timeout to 2mins but it felt like my battery was never full). I've been through a handful of Elite Series 2s. Most of them had bad shoulder buttons (they would start missing presses or double-press) and some developed drift. Hoping the Elite Series 3 has hall effect sticks and better shoulder buttons. Wouldn't be sad if they dropped support for adjusting tension, and went a better route with the paddle layout (the Stealth Ultra is the first where I could use all 4 comfortably and without confusing them for each other).
I’m so glad I sold this controller😭payed too much for something that my envision pro and even the elite controller stomps on. Only good caveat is that it has Hall effects. The screen is like… cool I guess, that’s what all the money I spent on it went towards I guess😂
I ordered two of them, one from Best Buy and then one from Amazon and both were not including the USB transmitter. Am I the only person going through this, or have you heard others complain about this and should I stop wasting my time trying to get this controller that sounds great?
This has slowly become my daily, however it’s not perfect. It rarely randomly turns off during a game and doesn’t connect right away causing me to lose. The battery life is pretty bad even with the RGB turned off, and the rear button placement is ergonomically flaccid. Other than that it’s pretty nice with the hall sticks and mechanical buttons. Love hate relationship lol
Is the stealth ultra still a recommended buy because I'm in the market for a backup for my elite 2 for when it eventually succumbs to the dreaded drift.
Ive watched all three of the videos about this controller but im stilll on the fence about weather to buy it or not Is it worth getting? If not can someone recommend another controller to look into instead
I have the turtle beach recon cloud hybrid and the turtle beach stealth ultra and they are good controllers but I feel like turtle beach needs to add a phone mount to the turtle beach stealth ultra and then it'll be perfect
Unrelated I just don't know how to ask you a question boss. You think a gulikit kk3 pro would work on Xbox with a Cronus zen adapter? Or does anyone know. Thanks
Ugh I still wanna get one of those, I asked your opinion of the scuf vs the aim, would you go turtle beach over the other two?? I want to get them all of course lol and will at some point but was just curious of your opinion.
Guys who play Fortnite festival I’m having issues when I have the triggers locked on the shortest travel I play on xpert mode at 2x track speed and I have my bumpers and triggers and my b button and y for the lane and overdrive but sometimes when I have to hit fast notes my triggers don’t make an input is my controller defective out am I doing something wrong when I take the lock off the triggers it works just fine but I doing wanna play like that I want the triggers to have the least amount of travel time
I need help. Im a console player specifically (ps5), i have already ruined two controller with stick drift, can you guys recommend a good hall effect controller with back buttons, my budget is around $200.
Is there any way for you to review the recently launched "cosmic byte stellaris" and "cosmic byte quantum" controllers (only available in india, but maybe they have shipping?). They're the first indian controllers with hall effect modules (they claim its the JH16), I'm torn on if I should get it because its hard to find honest and in-depth indian reviews of it. Would appreciate it a lot if its possible for you to get your hands on it but if not that's understandable.
I have one. Absolutely loved it UNTIL it refused to connect to anything. Factory reset and all, still won’t let me connect wired/wirelessly through the dongle. Great controller, infuriating connectivity
It could be the best controller in the world. Short thumbsticks is an instant no deal for me. The second they have one with interchangeable thumbsticks im sold
@@garrettstrutz7421 I get that. At the same time tho, if I spend 200 dollars on a controller I don't wanna hafta spend more on 3rd party perifreals to mak it usable (yes the short thumbsticks are that big of a deal to me I'm aware they are not for most people) plus I think control freaks look like shit (also a personal opinion but hey, for 200 imma be picky ASF)
My controller is working perfect ... no grinding no issue ....screen on controller is better to use than the app i got a Case with my controller that has a little net compartment and a charging dock with a USB slot for the DONGLE that i never use ............ everyone knows xbox connect is trash .... and this is by far the best xbox branded hall effect controller with 4 back bottons ... 6 elites series 2 one razor v2 later and im never goin back
Every device with a dongle SHOULD have a cubby hole to store the dongle. Magnets are a bonus. Almost every wireless mouse and keyboard has it, and no controller does. Shame.
I’ve had three now my trigger has broken 3 times now and they keep on replacing it and I asked for refund and they said they don’t do refunds so it looks like I’ll have a new controller every month. I have pictures to prove it
Controller is dort never connects when it does it unconnects and takes me an hour to reconnect, it doesn’t work wired either controllers brand new may I add it’s garbage
For some reason my stealth Ultra says is connected to my Bluetooth but isn't connected to play Call of Duty mobile on my tablet strange thing is it works with Call of Duty warzone mobile don't know why that is I have to piggyback off my Xbox controller but if I don't tap the analogue stick every few minutes the controller turns off obviously that's very frustrating when you're in a gun battle can you just forget to give the analogue stick a Wiggle on Xbox controller don't know why that is with Call of Duty mobile anybody else have this problem😢

so it is wireless with their own dongle? or can it work with the xbox official dongle?

You half to recalibrate it you can do it in the settings in the controller I had the same problem on r6

What would you say the best controller is for FPS on pc? My fourth Elite Series 2 is finally failing, and I'm ready to move on from it
I bought this today and it connected wirelessly right after I wired it and turn on and off. the next start up was wireless without any dongle. zero issues
What are u saying bro ? Are u telling me the controller works without dongle ? And not bluetooth ?

Why isn’t it compatible with stealth 700 eq and volume setting

Really really like my stealth ultra very special controller not many on its level

Ok Lik Thomas the elite controller has nothing on the stealth ultra and the envision pro is not better than the ultra either
See u in the drift side bud lol. Never buy a similar prices controller that will eventually go if used alot. So I wouldn't say stomps on.
@@garrettstrutz7421I had the elite..it fuckn sucks 👀
Is the controller any better or worse than at launch?? There have been QC issues and software issues. Also, what’s the input delay on Xbox?
Apparently there is a design flaw the thumb sticks wear out due to friction coz the little rings aren’t good
I ordered two of them, one from Best Buy and then one from Amazon and both were not including the USB transmitter. Am I the only person going through this, or have you heard others complain about this and should I stop wasting my time trying to get this controller that sounds great?

The rear buttons are perfect for me just take a little getting used to. Has become my over all favorite controller
Mine wont hook to the dongle. Worked for like a week and now doesnt.

It will be nice to see compere between ...Turtle beach stealth pro and flydigi apex 4.
Ugh I still wanna get one of those, I asked your opinion of the scuf vs the aim, would you go turtle beach over the other two?? I want to get them all of course lol and will at some point but was just curious of your opinion.

Flydigi Apex 4 is probably slightly better, if the apex 4 has trigger stops and mouse click face buttons wouldn’t be close.
