Who_Tee-Who that's a beautiful Smith & Wesson Model 59. I have a 5904 and it's the best shooting and feeling 9MM even when compared to my custom Sig P226 which a gem but the Model 59 just feels and shoots better. Smith & Wesson should bring them back. Jerry Miculek said he found one while in the Smith & Wesson factory and asked if he could have it. He made a video about it and he claimed it was one if not the best handguns he's ever shot and didn't understand why they quit making it other than polymer guns were coming in style.

If it’s just Kevlar than no it’s not really “compromised” after a couple of 22 lr rounds out of pistols which is delivering a lot less velocity.
That vest would probably take 22 up to 10mm all day long. Out of pistols.
Only plates that have a porcelain layer
Are 100% “compromised” after the first shot.

Looks like a good vest , I know that ammos hard to get but I am surprised You didn't try the 5.7x28 in pistol and rifle format , I also thought I saw a small hole toward the bottom of the box after You had used the .17HMR but that may already have been in the box , I would have put money on the 7.5 FK getting through , I wonder if someone's going to make a carbine for that round , that would be an awesome pairing matched with the pistol . Shoot Straight Stay Safe & Stay Well .
Technically speaking. A vest is comprised after it’s been shot once. But this was pretty interesting.
When it comes to Kevlar id say it's not a problem. But ceramic or AR500 is a bigger deal
@@connergarlock771 People look at these tests and forget one thing. In real life you're not going to take that many rounds center mass. You're going to be hurt by blunt force before you're ever shot enough to get through the vest. If a round goes through in real life you were basically assassinated by a sniper 😁

That myth was debunked back in the eighties by Richard Davies. He actually wore a vest and shot himself with .44 mag in an area previously hit.

I recommend the 5.7 and the Fort Scott Tumble Upon Impact 9mm and .357 mag. I think an orange III level that stops .30-06 would be very useful for hunting.
I’m interested to see what happens! I think past the 44 mag most will pass straight through.

Of the .17's I reckon that the .17 Hornet would go through, assuming you had one which not many people do!
I would love to see you test out some ammo penetration comparison on buffalo bore's 275gr 450 bushmaster and hornady black 250gr at 100 yards.

Sir loved thus video also liked your ar to 22 conversion video were you shot with your wife a video I want you to do if you haven already is compare how fast and how much damage the 44 mag pistol vs the 44 mag lever action rifle bunch old timer's have told me the pistol hits harder vs the rifle .maybe shoot some clay blocks

Best way to test a vest

My guess is the fk brno 7.5 will make it through.
So the most prolific caliber long guns you will encounter went right through. So I don't think I'll be wearing one like that. You will need plate armor and do you want to wear that all day long ? Plus a good shot will not be aiming where the plates are anyway. Plus just the impact force from some of the pistol rounds are going to take the average person down for the count.
Might try the five seven.

I have heard that the.22TCM can defeat body armor. That would be an interesting round to see if it can really do it.

Only certain types. the sole bullet that is used in the 22TCM favors rapid expansion, which works against it for armor penetration.
