- Most competitive accessories you should use in Identity V. Although Identity V isn't a pay to win game, since you can only spend your money on aesthetics and pets, like in any game that is competitive with skins and accessories, there are some inherit benefits and competitive aspects to some effects, colours and skins. In this video the Identity V community will learn about the competitive and also non so competitive skins in Identity V with some gameplay in the background. You can also use this video as a guide or tips video to distinguish if your favourite accessory is competitive or not, and if that is important to you.
All the buffs and nerfs in this video are current with Season 16 Essence 2.

Seer's Nirvana is also one of the more visible accessories in the game too 😂

Do you maybe know, if when you use this accesory and you turn off the option for hunters to see the accesory effect, does hunter also not see the effects on other players? Or do they have to turn off the option too
I have literally confused the Misa Misa Doll for Misa Misa Mechanic herself before because I only saw the back of the hair! 😭
My teammates always confuse me for my bot when I use that accessory . . . even though I'm wearing the Chiaki skin, being chased, and the only survivor alive besides them. They're always spamming "help me" and "thank you" and then when I get finally get downed I see them kneeling by my bot. o-o
Well i see a lot in high tiers gameplay that bloody queen always have the s tier accessory and when there is a forward or cowboy she will use the emote salute to pretend ballooning the survivor this can bait cowboy or forward to use their skills!
I mainly like the accessory because I believe it affects cowboy's ability to lasso the survivor, I don't really use it to bait with. I'll have to try that sometime!

This reminded me of how can fake picking up a survivor as Demogorgon on DBD by starting the portal creation animation.
Effects can be hidden from the hunter but I'm extra and let the hunter see my singing doc
as a sculptor main, while endgame has a chance of making survivors lag, no accessory is better because her chisel area is difficult for survivors to see, making it harder to know if she can hit you or not. the endgame accessory puts a checkerboard where the chisel is, so survivors can know if she can reach them or not
you can turn the chisel effect off in settings
5:21 hunters cannot see that effect unless you as the Explorer enable it in the settings ;) Great vid tho

I have Sculptor's S Acc, End Game and I do admit that it really makes survivors lag.. Sometimes, I even lose the survivor I'm chasing because of the effects, haha :') Anyways, great video as always!
i think priestess' portal change is a really good one. as a hunter main, when i see a portal with that blue or green effect, i sometimes cant understand whether its a normal portal or the large one. especially when im in the middle of a chase, i cant just take my time to determine which one it is, and if i hit it theres a hance that i might just lose time
mech’s death note collab acc is perfect. the bot is literally the exact same build as a surv.
Note; particle effects like with final present can be set as invisible for hunters in the settings!!! Only the survivors see it then!
survivors who play crazy colored/decorated costumes are so much easier to spot in photo world when im playing Joseph lol
XD that's why I love not using flashy skins eg. I use a lot the tiger seer skin and if the map is sacred hospital or one where there's lot of grass many hunters usually just pass near me many times without noticing. So fun
i LOVE Deadly Invitation, it makes it so much harder for Cowboy harassers. plus it's cute having a letter with wings attached to Joseph
I used to play seer with his default outfit all the time. I bamboozled at least 5 hunters in Leo's and White Sand, but this hardly works on high ranks anymore :(
Skins as well. That's maybe the reason why ehenever i watch high tiers or competetive games most of them don't wear any flashy skins. I always see them wear b or c or even the default skin of their character.

From death note- hunters very often are confused because bot looks like misa, a tier skin for mechanic
If combined, hunters like bloody queen would not know if it's me or my bot
And accessory number 2- monomi from danganronpa
There is no way that you won't see that bot lolo, due to his big head and pink color

Cowboy’s bladeless hilt is very noticeable too, gorgeous but you can see his lasso from a mile away 😭 the sewing kit isn’t as obvious but. Man.

Mike's star candy is a little competitive, but just barely since it makes his aftereffects look a tad larger than they are so a hunter might not try to go through a wide choke point if they think they'll be effected by a bomb. On the downside, though, when a hunter is under aftereffects it wont block their screen as much when you're on Star Candy rather than default settings
3:20 HI! when I used to be obsessed with identity v Galatea was my main and had this accessory! It may also work as an advantage and disadvantage! Not only can the effects cause lag but also it’s harder to see where the survivor is! Or overall blocks view! You can use it to make sure a survivor doesn’t know where to go but it may also confuse u where is said survivor! So I recommend only using it in friendly/basic matches! (Unless you want to I didn’t have a badge for her)

once i was playing hunter and there was a magician who had an accessory that i could see through the wall, he did not last long lol
I was hoping he’d talk about Melly’s new accessory. I had been wondering if it was competitive because to me it makes the swarm seem smaller than it really is, so I was a little curious about that.
But at the same time, the accessory has a very bright blue color so it's more visible to the hunters

Also, I don’t know if this work for any other survivor but you can actually turn the special effects of doc’s accessories on settings, you and the other survivors can still see the effects but the hunter won’t be able to see them.
Yes, that is correct! Not many people know about this and I think most people don't care. Better to warn people about their accessories than not at all lol

Also fdanfemalrcer's ice-flower accecory can show hunters location (hunters hearts glows blue and you can see it behind the walls)

How about if a skin on a survivor or hunter is competitive due to added effects, such as Feaster's Exoplanet skin where the tentacle casting shadow is a see through on most obstacles?
doctor is my secondary main and i use nicholas’ will, it’s so freaking noisy that sometimes it gives away my location to the hunter LOL i love it so much but it’s so NOISY
For me maybe axe boy ghost accessories since when i survivor enters the tree area you can see the ghost raising its hand up and down when survivor leave
Mechanic's Fairy Ring accessory is a big oof as well. Not only does it make your bot look like a used tissue, you can see the boy glowing.
2:40 this one has been fixed. Now cowboy always sees the hunter ballooning the survivor regardless of the accessories they have

HELP Im thinking of buying glowing feather for doctor since its time limited and i dont really know if its coming back anymore. It has sounds that that hunters could hear. Is it possible to disable accessory to hunters only?
Sculptors accessory doesn't make me lag since I play on PC, but it does blind me. I can't speak for everyone, but even for people who don't lag from it, it can still give sculptor an advantage since it makes it more difficult to see sculptor herself. An example being I was dodging statues and couldn't see her coming through the window, and got a normal hit on me
I will also add Marionetter of Mary cause she have a different animation than normal
Normal makes her camera stuck while chairing while Perfect Marionette you can see more angles
Luchino A accessorys (both) fit very well with his A skins (bone flute and dream walker)

1:32 I do own this accessory but I feel like when I equip it makes strings harder to land when I unequiped it I changed a lot and landed almost all my strings so I feel like it's less competitive at least for me
I do this with costumes that’s why I always pick costumes that match the overall scheme or color of the floor so it’s harder to see me especially if I hide
on perfumers S acc (her blue one) it shows the footsteps to the hunter too
Another one is bull horns for forward, the bulls horns make it easier to aim him and to stun the hunter
The best accessories is monokuma judgment button that Acc thou can change rocket chair and have 4 different bomb effect
this is super late after this was posted, but have you considered (or done, i can't find it if you have) a video like this on skins? i know there are hitbox changes and animation timing changes to some hunter skins and i'm curious if the same thing holds true to some survivor skins.

Oh hey, can you give a tips for playing Helena and Emma? I have a little bit a problem playing them
As a Helena main, the main thing for her is to put your focus into decoding and avoiding. Use your skill a few secs into the match to see location to avoid hunter, if they are coming your general direction switch ciphers. If you get stuck kiting, keep as much distance as possible, use skill after vaulting windows or throwing pallets. If I have enough distance I will slow vault windows if I know they can't see me do it from where they're at, then start running right after to confuse them as to my location. Be careful where you vault and throw pallets though because her vault speed is pretty slow. Another thing I like to do decoding wise, is if I spawn somewhere with ciphers close together I get the first one to 99% and switch, then pop both at same time, to make it less likely for hunter to come to my area. Also make sure to hop on ciphers that are already decoded using your cane to see if nobody's on them at the moment, and take over for rescuers when needed.
Tap when the hunter is doing something like vaulting a window or breaking a pallet. That should give you some extra seconds to run away thanks to her new buff

mechanic's crossover accessory "camera" changes the body of the doll from male to female. this can further confuse the hunter to believe they've actually found the mechanic herself, but it's just the doll that looks a lot like her.

One of Priestess' accessories has a small glow particle effect that can be seen through walls, the problem is most priestess players use this accessory I don't remember the name, I'd have to get on IDV and I'm too lazy to do that rn.
I have won many games because of that accessory. I use it to know where the priestess is on the other side of the wall when they are coming to rescue from a chair, it lets me predict exactly when they will place their portal. I've also used it to find the priestess through walls when she is hiding.

all of seer's high tier accessories are prety noncompetitive because they make the owl glow, making it easier to spot seer if he's hiding behind a wall

Yeah, my brother has the dragging one but the rose accessories are two, one is red and one is blue. Im not sure what the difference is but they both make the carrying animation the same so I was wondering of there was a difference.

As FO main, pls don’t buy or make him wear any accessories especially on rank, I understand it’s pretty that’s also why I bought his A tier acc but I immediately regret it, It can drop your frame rates and make u easier to distinguish when u rescue team mates

You can hide the effect from the hunter with a toggle in options
All cowboy accessories are not competitive since it makes it more obvious that you are lassoing and it can show the direction of the lasso if you pull onto a survivor.
