just wanted to say thank you for making this video my dryer stoped working and thanks to you i was able to fix it so far 2 weeks have past and i can now hopefully say its completely fixed
The lovely manufacturer's manual had nothin on part numbers, just a "do not disassemble" warning. The world now has a huge digital community of amazin people that make great repair vids with specific model and part numbers. Makin tha world a better place with small acts of kindness. Thank you bro
I just had the same problem with my old Samsung dryer, I accidentally mixed up the belt/pulley orientation on my first time repair and shredded my belt. This was really helpful.
Thanks for the video. Very helpful. This dryer and its matching washer are the biggest piece of junk! I'm constantly having to repair them to keep um running. Previous set was a cheap off name brand I had bought when I was first out on my own. Had um for 12 years and sold um to a lady for what I bought um for. 5 years I've had these pieces of crap and I have to repair them atleast once a year.
We found this video helpful as we have the exact same model (no large opening in the back like others). One thing we did differently when fitting the belt on the pulley: we popped out a stamped circle opening on the left side, which gave us another way into the area where the pulley was. This really helped us to put the belt on quickly!
So to actually route the belt in the pulley assembly one has to open the back side of the dryer to have access to it or it's the a trick to do it without removing/open the back side?

I have had to fix several driers like this. I think they make this part to fail :)

It's easy to do when you can't see anything :)
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks fellas
Thank you :)
We can rebuild it. We have the technology. We can build the world's first bionic dryer.
LOL, some people are too young to remember that show :)
@@ArtisanTony Yes, and it won't cost 6 Million Dollars! lol! I am in tears : )
Which way does the spring go on mine kept falling off
You can kind of see it starting at around 6:45
The pully was the first part that needed replacement right after the warranty. Just replaced the coils and wheels this time around.

Mine keeps coming off and we can’t figure it out.
I bet its twisted or something?
@@ArtisanTony no, it turns and then comes off from the tensioner
