    Thank you so much for making this video. Our plastic piece broke, the flange had broken off. I took everything apart and found the flange broken off at the bottom of the dryer. My thing was is I took everything apart and forgot to take a picture of it so I could refer to it on how to put it back together. So thanks to you for making the video so I could see how everything went back together

    I’ve had to change three of these on the same Samsung dryer in a four year period. Thank you for the fantastic instructions!

    Awesome video. I just replaced this pulley and my rollers at the same time! Also cleaned out all the lint! Runs smooth like butter!

    This video was very helpful, thank you. The hardest part is wrapping the belt around the idler assembly when the drum is blocking your vision.

    Was able to use this guide to change out the idler, belt, and rollers on DV45K7600EW. Now she purrs like a kitten. Thanks for helping me flex on all the rival dads in the cul-de-sac!

    Thank you so very much for the outstanding video explaination on how to replace the idler pulley assembly. You were very detailed in ever step showing each tab for each panel and screws. I have the whole kit with a new belt, 4 rollers and the idler assembly and now feel comfortable in taking this apart and putting it back together properly. Hats off to you sir!

    Great video! Thanks for all the detailed guidance. We saved a lot of money by repairing the dryer ourselves.

    If that’s the only part you’re replacing, you can go through the exhaust port in the back. Saves from taking apart the entire machine.

    Thank you for a great video! I used it for the removal and installation. The video was spot on since your dryer was very similar to ours. Only made one mistake. I kept getting a d3 error on the screen which meant an open door. Dummy here forgot to connect the door switch plug.

    Thank you for answering my question in the thumbnail photo of the video. I still watched the video and it was great but I am super impressed that you knew the importance of that image enough to make it your thumbnail. Cheers!

    This a very helpful video. I've had this dryer apart a few times. First to change the idler pulley and then to change the rollers. Definitely an engineering flaw from Samsung.

    Sounds like Samsung got rid of the access door in the back of the drier to make a $200 service call justifiable.
    I did this in less then 5 min on my parent's old drier. Didn't have to remove just about everything.

    What if you can't get the belt hooked on the pulley system? There is not enough slack on the belt.

    Thank you for the detailed instructions. We changed the pulley and rollers. We have a bit of a shake now when the dryer is running (feet are level). We did not have the pink band to the back so took it apart and flipped that around. The shake is still there. Any suggestions?

    A problem to note is the original screw for the pulley might be really tight. I striped the screw pretty bad. If you run into the screw not wanting to move at first I used a #3 Phillips and it finally came out.

      I was coming at it in the reverse direction and therefore twisting the wrong direction. Smh

      I put some 3-in-1 oil on the threads (to the degree possible) and tapped on the screw with a small hammer. It probably took me 10 minutes but finally got the screw to break loose.

    This can be accessed and replaced by removing the vent tube from the rear of the machine. Taking the front all off is not necessary as long as the belt didnt break.

    • @MrHemi4spd
      @MrHemi4spd 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aaronJslippery actually the belt can be slipped around the drum without removal of the drum. When you have the back open you will see how this is possible. Tricky but possible. My belt was not broke so i just reused.

      Except newer units have a smaller hole so you can barely get a small arm through. Design change to encourage more repairs go to repair shops. Terrible redesign.

    At the pulley the belt seems awful close to the other side of the best where they cross.

    dude this is over complicated... lol you only need to remove the cover near the blower exhaust and you can get to it...

    • @jerrywhite3095
      @jerrywhite3095 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your are so right, but my dryer and washer are in a small room and hard to move around so I went with the video. At 6’6”, I need more room to work. But, if I had the room, I would have used your method without a doubt.

    • @briano295
      @briano295 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I disagree. After having done this repair numerous times, I can tell you accessing it from the front, while maybe more stuff to take apart, is the way to go. As Jerry mentioned below, you have to pull it out completely, which isn't always convenient and then try to get more than one hand in that area to mess around with taking the belt off and putting it back on once you have replaced the pulley. I can imagine it now and it doesn't sound fun lol.

      Ironically my dryer does not have a cover that can be removed. The only thing that can be removed is the blower exhaust which is a really small hole so I needed this video to take the whole dryer apart

  • @aplusimaging
    @aplusimaging 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Way too complicated , it's so much much more efficient to just remove the cover to the dryer vent and go in through there , no more than 10 minutes !!! This is most likely the way technicians are tought to take up more time !

    • @REDWOLF763
      @REDWOLF763 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you talking about accessing it from the back? I would like to know for future maintenance
