Yeah, an unfortunate example of creativity and thinking outside the box not being rewarded. I would have thought professional chefs/bakers like Ro, Johnny, and Roy would lean less towards the norm, especially Ro and Johnny, but I guess not.
I feel like ned gets too many points for generally knowing how to bake, he just does something basic and totally fine that’s minimal effort to him and he wins cause he didn’t make rookie mistakes. the other guys have no idea what they’re doing, but they go out of their way to make something challenging, creative, and new.

Just to let everyone know who didn’t know: Keith is acting and hamming up his reactions, he is not actually a loose-cannon.
That's what they keep saying but I think he genuinely has a worrisome anger problem. Ro looks like she's about to cry in this one/doesn't know how to react at first. When this video first released the Keith rage outburst made my anxiety skyrocket so much I had to turn the video off for the first time.. It felt like it was definitely starting to cross the line and not be funny anymore. Now and then in subsequent videos after similar outbursts other people will mention that they'd never seen Keith that angry before (for real) and that it was kind of scary but nervously laugh it off. The "it's just a comedy bit" excuse seems like a dismissive cover tbh. I'm really glad he started toning it back down after awhile.

@@melit. oh! on netflix's show "is it cake?" jonny was a contestant. the show blew up because jonny cheated* and then won.
*it was later revealed that what he did wasn't actually cheating by the show's rules, but that was never clarified beforehand, and it very much seemed like cheating if you watched it & a lot of ppl online got real angry about it (some think that the producers did this on purpose, to intentionally make ppl mad about the show & get them talking about it, for publicity)

@@alasdeluna the way it worked was you would make a cake look like an object and people have to identify the cake next to the actual object. In Johnny's episode he made a taco and it looked really good but he basically put jelly pieces on one of the others to throw them off. It made a real taco look so fake so they of course picked that one. Hence why the think he cheated
