Thinking about getting a slim alox for a friend, but I, myself, prefer a larger SAK with more tools/functions. If im going to put something in my pocket to take everywhere, it better do a lot.😂
I agree for the most part, but there are a few times when you want something more discrete. Maybe wearing a suit, or shorts in the summer.

Thanks for the video 😊 I own the three “regular” Alox and I use them on a daily basis. The Bantam - Classic combo is my go-to for work (office environment). At home I have the Alox Swiss Army 2 in my pocket for everything: fruits, packages, little works around the house. I own more Alox: Minichamp, Cadet, Pioneer X (orange, yellow and storm grey versions), Farmer X and Hunter Pro orange. I have also some classic red models and a Swisstool Spirit X. Along with my wife and daughter, I think there are 20 or 21 SAKs at home 😊 I really love the Alox models, they are more robust and more elegant at the same time than the celidor ones. I make a rotation to carry and use all of them.
Thanks! Quite a collection you have there - thanks for sharing. There is something special about the Alox versions! The biggest problem with have several SAKs is finding time to carry them!!
Actually, the favorite model of the Swiss soldiers is one of the thin models. The "chunky" models, however, do a very good job at home as a quick tool for a diversity of needs coming up.
Im the opposite i like my single or two bladed knives to be on the thicker side. And i like my multiblade/tool knives to be slimmer. 😂 Good video brother!

@@pabloluisortegapalacios6939 The Farmer X is one of my favourites. I wanted to show some of the slimmer models that some people may not have seen
I believe that Alox classic is the thinnest they've ever made. I keep one in the brim of my Wazzoo Cache cap.
Wow! Great way to EDC an alox classic!
Great video, buddy!
Thanks David. As you may have guessed… I am a big fan of alox SAKs.

Thanks Calen. Fair enough. I know a lot of people like a knife that they can get a good grip on.
Same with me. I once got me a Pioneer and it felt to slim, although I don't have huge hands. A Pioneer X feels good in my hand ... size matters 😅
@Stling-yl8li We like what we like. I love my Pioneer X and the Farmer X too. But these slim ones can be carried in a wallet...
Awesome looking knife. You don't even know it's there
Thanks Jason. These are perfect for people who don’t like a lot of weight/bulk in their pockets
the Alox Cadet is less than 9 mm thick and thinner than an Alox 2. Just Sayin !!! 2023 Winter Magic Alox Cadet is pretty sexy
True. It's not one I have....yet! I haven't bought any of the special Alox versions. If you miss then they are really pricey on the secondary market.
@@MB_EDC where is your birth year Alox Soldier ? Stop being cheap and just buy one. They are worth it if under $150
@@MrPsiman Haha! I am looking. As I am quite old my birth year SAKs are quite expensive. And I want a decent one....
i just had a luck in a junk market with that money clip sak for 1.5 dollar
Wow. What a bargain!!!
The great thing about these is they slip into your wallet
Definitely! Thanks for watching Elan!
Brakuje mi w nim kółeczka, co nie zmienia faktu, ze bardzo fajny scyzoryk.
I prefer them without the keyring....
