I really enjoy watching your videos. I find you to be a Number one railfan and I enjoy your commentary. I try to watch your videos every week. Especially the Gary Uninon Station. Keep up the great work. Charls
I can't remember, but you could see them from the 5th Avenue side . Also the barrels . This is a long time ago. I remember my dad working there & the US steel mill .
What's the deal with the train project running thru Hammond?. Is that real or some weird rumor I heard?. If real it sounds like a real positive step towards bringing passenger/commuter service to the Region. Thanks.
Hopefully they did not remove the tracks becuse even no the wood is rotten no safe to handle a train it's a lot easier to repair rotten wood and strength the the old metal bridges but if torn up to replace new bridges and replace new tracks is a lot more expensive and once torn up rarely do old lines go back into service ... hopefully this line is still there
Thanks for the video this city will be rescued but maybe within 7- 10yrs we must 1st have an economic collapse in Nationally economy before developers will buy and reconstruct
48petey: Well possibly sooner; thanks to Donald Trump. Those tariffs on steel and aluminum will definitely help. But, again, you are still correct. Likely war in The Middle East will spur on the economy: especially if overseas shipping gets cut off: which it will. Gonna be more jobs than you can shake a stick at. Gonna be driving buses to the Mexican Border to bring people in. Break a leg.
Sad the way folks treat others property and dump trash but hopefully one day folks will have hope and jobs will return from china and trains will one day be needed

Nice documentation of a line that totally fascinates me! Unlike most videos, you included maps and aerial views which are very much appreciated!

Be careful.
You can't be but a few miles from Michael Jackson's home.
