The bilge looks good, sound and clean. Agree with you about the o/head locker. Like the owner had to put leather corners on it so as not to get killed at sea!
Agree! Sanded the frayed sections that were left from the past to smooth the sides. Time to paint. It'll soon be ready for the tanks to be reinstalled.
I couldn't agree more. Fortunately, this boat has a very slack keel giving it tons of storage. I don't anticipate trying to completely refit the interior, but there are more optimal ways to store plates and bowls than in a large, overhanging locker. It helps, visually, too. Many have removed quite a lot from these boats, but I am looking at keeping most of it the same.

I've owned RVs and sailboats for 40 years. Be wary of losing storage space. You will be happy for any storage you can find.
