And, let's say hypothetically, this is the kind of relationship that I want, what does that say about me, my values and my general outlook in life?
Awesome comment. The main thing these types of videos are missing is the spiritual/God factor in relationships/marriage. No amount of addictive, temporary feelings are going to make a lasting stable relationship. Alex does give good advice for maybe keeping a man's interest for awhile (and it's good to keep his tips in mind for romantic feelings for long term too), but none of this addresses the deeper/ spiritual aspects of relationships which imo only can come from personal spiritual growth

I am so confused and love him so much. I admit that I did not show him the love he deserves to receive and I do have a harsh tone. I really want to save this relationship and have asked him for a second chance but he doesn’t want to even give me that nor he has never complained or told me that he was not happy with my tone so I could correct myself and my behavior. A relationship cannot be one side so if you say that he never complained you should ask him why he wants to end the relationship. It is very important to listen what he has to say. Just listen to him and pay attention. In case he does want to open up just keep in mind that when you have this talk with him you shouldn't be harsh. Be soft and open to listen to him
@maryamja2006 My husband left out of the blue too, after 6 years of marriage, almost 8 together. From "I love you" the day before to "l want to separate" the next one. As an explanation he told me that "he doesn't feel desired and therefore is not happy and his feelings have faded" and that "he is tempted". So, like someone suggested, he might have been looking at other girls while l thought he was a good guy. He didn't want to discuss it or go to counseling, denied the idea of cheating too. We have history behind to write a book about and did so many things /created memories together (most of them first time 4 him) and l never noticed that he didn't love me or that he was plotting an exit. I loved him, but now l know (l learned from coach Alex) that l did too much for him and he took me for granted. We're divorcing 4 months later. I look at him and I don't know who he is anymore even though, just like we always did, he is telling me all the details of his new life when we quickly meet for business purposes only (no mention of the woman). I I did everything to him and for him but he started pulling away. And I have started pulling back about 3weeks ago and giving less and don't send texts anymore if he does not reach out.
