    Add the buyer to your blocked buyer list and put them in your rear view mirror.

    They said it wasn't damaged seems like end of the story to me? 😂

      I agree. Apparently this buyer is legit nuts, there is actually a reddit thread about their shenanigans and they have a history of being problematic and leaving negative feedback.

    You should always ship plush animals in a reinforced safe. That is the only way it can arrive in good condition. Also make sure the safe is not too big, don't use to 6 feet tall safe for firearms. Then the inside should be filled with foam to prevent the animal from moving around. It might cost 2000$ to ship and an other 500$ for the safe, but that stuff animal will get there in perfect condition ;)

      🤣🤣 Even with all that I bet this nutcase buyer would *still* find something to complain about!

    I pack any cloth items into polymailers. I use a "double bag" method. The item goes into a thin plastic bag (BJs wholesale rolled bags) and then into the polymailer. That way if the polymailer is damaged there is still another water/air-tight barrier. I am relatively new to selling on ebay, but have been selling mostly clothes.

    I've had a crazy buyer call me a scammer and threaten to have me arrested because the post office hadn't updated tracking for few days after leaving my city. Of course, they also wanted to complain about item, abuse return system and stick me with 2-way shipping.

      Arrested lol. Some of these people are just flat out nuts. As crappy as they are I just try to focus on the fact that it's only a small percentage of buyers like that.

    The only reason you may be nuts is if you don’t block this buyer.

    • @TrailerTrashFlips

      They are blocked now but I should have just cancelled the original transaction and took the ding on my account. It was one of those situations where you know deep down they are going to be a problem but are hoping they won't be. 🙁

    why don't you block them? At least they admitted the item wasn't damaged.

    ...Also, even though sellers can't leave negative feedback, I'll always leave a message about this person being horrible even if it is under a positive feedback. I'm always looking at people's feedback when I have doubts about them. Maybe she'll lose buyers to buy from because of her nastiness

    • @TrailerTrashFlips
      @TrailerTrashFlips  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Oh I did leave a false positive, the first time I've ever done it just because she just such a nutcase. She had it removed quickly and I also responded to her negative.

    Idk I'd at least try my luck with contacting ebay for business and stating that the gist of their negative feedback is that the box was damaged by usps which was not your fault.

    • @TrailerTrashFlips
      @TrailerTrashFlips  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I did and I'm waiting to see how they handle it. I've never had any luck before in getting negative feedback removed although I've only had a couple up until now. I also told ebay about this buyer having a history of doing this because I found a reddit thread about them leaving negative feedback which is why I think their feedback is private, because they don't want sellers seeing all the negatives they leave.

  • @larryhynes63

    #1 - Add this buyer to your blocked buyer list. #2 - Contact eBay and try to dispute the feedback with them. Show them the entire communication and behavior of this buyer and how unreasonable they are/were. Their complaint about the box being smashed had nothing to do with you. Be humble and nice but firm that this was an unreasonable buyer. Be persuasive and eBay should remove the negative fb.

    I haven't had a negative feedback in like a year, but this morning, I woke up to a negative feedback. This was a "Church" book and this person was just nasty. She didn't message me or anything. I pretty much told her that I thought it was ironic she buys a "Christian" book and she acts far like one...lol. Most people reach out but she just was a nasty person. There's just too many "Karen's " out there that are never happy. That bear was perfectly fine in a box. I would have just shoved it in a large tvek bag, lol.
    In fact, send us her name so we can block her. I block all crazies

      Agreed, I don't get why people are like that. I have a commercial account that I work for regularly and have been there since 2012. In 2018 they hired a new office manager who for some reason, just doesn't like me. She mostly has the authority to do whatever she wants. Well, she made the decision to replace me with a different contractor but didn't get approval from the owner. One of the employees gave me a heads up of what she was planning so I went to the owner just to see why I was getting replaced. He told me that not only had she not said anything to him about it, he didn't want me to be replaced and would speak to her about it. Let's just say she wasn't happy to have her decision overridden! 🤣🤣 She has been a snooty witch to me for the last 5 years. She even went so far as to try to set me up claiming there was some money missing. Again, I bypassed her completely and went to the owner. He said well, you've been working here for about 10 years, you do good work, you're trustworthy, and there's never been an issue so if there's money missing, I'm sure it wasn't you and *she* shouldn't be leaving money laying around. It was at this point she realized that all of her efforts were futile and the fact that she is not able to replace me drives her crazy! This is the same office manager that has caused 3 very long time employees to quit because they just couldn't deal with her. And guess what her office is adorned with? All kinds of Christian decorations. I'm *not* slamming Christians at all because I'm a Christian however I totally agree that true Christians act like it and there are a lot of people who claim they are but are far from it in how they act.
      There is actually a little more that happened regarding this buyer that I couldn't fit in this video but it will be in the next one. They have a history of doing things like this. Here user name is libbyluan.
