Sophia becomes first woman to score points in FIA F3 Spielberg // History was made - and annulled

- The FIA F3 weekend #5 at Red Bull Ring was motorsport history. In the main race I am rated on P9 at the finish. After two hours of technical check the FIA finds a technical violation. The lateral end plates of my front wing were 70 mm (minimum height according to regulations) in front and only 67,3 mm (minimum height 70 mm / 1 mm tolerance) from the 0-level in the rear. This means that my wing was on lift, which is more of a disadvantage than an advantage. After 24 race laps and contacts we found 1.7 mm. PHM did not appeal and took the mistake on their head.
Sure, the team is responsible for the technical things. I beat Bobby through the race, achieved the best possible. That's why I don't really care about the DQF. My speed with an inferior car was definitely there. This season, it was the highlight of the season so far.
Whereas qualifying was as mixed as ever with a gap of 8/10 sec. and P21. The setup of the car is a secret of our team. It just doesn't fit.
Thanks to Alpine and the Alpine Academy. Again top support. The tips and advice are simply targeted and helpful.
What is there to tell? The Dutch F1 fans made a huge party. To witness this joy and atmosphere is simply fun. I now know the song MAX, SUPERMAX by heart, which is not so difficult considering the lyrics. The organization of the event was perfect. The RBR Event Team, the police and the people in charge are very well coordinated. Thanks for that.

It's a shame and a travesty that driver's lose out the most, over penalties that are completely out of their control.
In IMSA, Penske Motorsport/Porsche, recently were struck down and penalized 150pts. over an underside skid plate infraction of less than 1mm. The drivers and team all lost out. Yet at the Rolex 24 of Daytona, the winning Acura team in post race inspection found an infraction, and were hit with a hefty fine and loss of team points, but were allowed to keep the victory, and driver's their covered Rolex watches.
The FIA, needs parody across all rules and regulations.

P 20 = P9 on track with a disadvantage just shows your speed and fight, yes the not nice people took it away but you were still there on merit. That being said it just shows what you are able to do given the right car and track combination.

Hilarious a bunch a guys have way more points. She has 6 points this season. Jamie Chadwick is in the middle of the field in indy feeder series over 200 points out of 1st and people scream we're equal yet always praise these girls like they've accomplished something impossible .

Your penalty reminds me of the scene in rush where Hunt is DQ'd for having a wing too wide by the smallest of margins. Really too bad! But it just shows, the potential is there for better finishes in the future! Hope to see you closer to the front of the grid going forward!

If she's getting good results in F3, teams in F1 should get to sign her up for the 2024 season. So wish F1 had women drivers as women have shown they can compete competitively in the W series. Come on Liberty Media please sign up women drivers for F1.
