Looks just like my new 1979 Trans Am that I bought brand new. The only thing missing are the eagle decals on the sides in back of the T-Tops. Very Nice.

Nice car !! Perfect for a LS swap they were way under powered. I agree with the last guy……. You gotta mount the scoop on the engine!! It’s got to shake man 👊😎👍🇺🇸

That was an interesting idea to install the bigger 79 Tenth Anniversary Trans Am (TATA) hood bird decal on it, with the wings extending onto the fenders, instead of the regular size bird. I never thought of that. Looks great!

Beautiful! I don't know why, but I really like the red 79 TAs with the gold bird and gold snowflake wheels. It sounds strange, but it was an option and looked good IMO. I have a black 79 TA SE (Y84) myself, it has a 455 Olds, the original 403 block cracked.

Who builds a 6 figure car and then glues the shaker to the hood. 😢 the most iconic part of the car. No Pontiac guy would ever drive it like that sorry.

It’s not a six figure car. It’s $48,000. I think you would feel different if you walked up to the car in person and saw how clean the build is.

@@revenantmotors2599I’ve always felt the same way about glueing the shaker. Just my preference and someone who’s owned them in past. Very nice build

wouldnt take much for a shope to make an adapter for the top of the engine, its been done countless times.

Great looking car! A few changes and it would be perfect! That's every car though!

Should get close to that I would think i sold a 79 ws6. Needing full interior could use paint to look like that for 16 500.

Pontiac really messed up the Trans Am with T tops in 1977, which weaken the structural integrity of the body, and ruin the body lines, and further ruined it with that wonky front end in 1979. Then somebody messed that one up even more with those ghetto wheels. Second gen Trans Ams are supposed to have 15" wheels. Also, the 403 is a BUICK engine, and not very well built. It seems to hold up ok if you are really easy with it, but who is going to drive a Trans Am that way? Where are the "walrus mustache" exhaust tips? Is that part of an antenna on the left fender? '79s came with the antenna in the windshield. And a COMPUTER engine in a '79??????????? No thanks.

403 is an oldsmobile engine...you have no clue what you're talking about...and the exhaust tips are referred to as TA tips...not anything to do with a walrus....keep driving your Prius

@@scottwoodard9666 You are correct, the 403 is an Oldsmobile engine. It's still a fairly weak block. "walrus mustache" exhaust tips were what they were called back in the '70s. And I wouldn't touch a Prius with a 10 foot pole. I drive a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis, a 1976 Corvette, and a 1968 Ford F-150.

To each his own, so I take it you don't like the Trans Am? I do, I love it, it is very nostalgic and an iconic car, more so than a 1976 Corvette. Hate on it, but when those T-Tops come off and you're crusing that 403 Olds, trust me, nobody is going to care, you will get thumbs up all day long.
