I was trained well, I had the good fortune to meet a teacher who introduced me to the real music (my influences range from Wes Montgomery, Baden Powell, Django Reinhardt and many others, and this is not so obvious for my generation and above in Italy !!!!!). As a child, however, I was very impressed, by the sound, the technique and the arrangements of Chet Atkins (my hero), I never get tired of listening to his songs and I enjoy it so much to replicate these;
I love the sound of guitars, especially the sound, that of my GRETSCH 6122-1959 perfect replica of the one used for years by Mr. Atkins.
The convention Chet atkins ???? It would be a dream, all the best guitarists in the world gathered together, beautiful !!!!!! It is not a straightforward task given the considerable distance, but never say never ..................

I was a Shadows fan till 1964 then struck by lightning when I heard and saw the famous Oslo concert on tv with Chet atkins, Jim Reeves, Anita Kerr, Bobby Bare that changed my life because of the fantastic style and sound of Chet Atkins.

Great job...this was my dad's favorite tune by Chet Atkins...he was a big fan and so am I....you are the only guitarist I've seen cover his version of this song.... incredible and outstanding,!

Wow,you even recorded The Claw! Jerry Reed is another favorite guitar player i love....Do you know Down home,Mister Lucky or Funky Junk? These are my favorite Jerry Reed tunes but Chet recorded them also....you amaze me with your playing and I'm so happy I found your TH-cam videos!

Grazie jimmy, I love fingerstyle guitar, and so I love all the greats of the genre, from Chet to Jerry through Doyle Dykes and Tommy Emmanuel, but also many others. I love the music of Wes Montgomery and Joe Pass and Charlie Byrd, I also like Los Indios and Baden Powel's Brazilian music. I also love the guitar as a collector's item. I like it if you take a look at all my videos, I always try to use the right tool, I have a gretsch 6122/1959 with an original supertron gretsch on the handle; then the del old but also a gibson chet atkins nylon showcase edition 1988. Then recently I also bought a fantastic Gibson L5 but I also really like the sound of the telecaster !!!! I also love amplifiers, I have a twin Reverb and a rivera sedona for the acoustics. moreover, an amplifier made for me by Orlando, a point to point amplifier with nos components and a 15 ”speaker by Weber for Chet Atkins sounds is coming to me recently.
