I take a bit of an exception to your pronunciation of "va a" as simply "va," Paul. It's true that to those who aren't used to the speed of native speakers (and their tendency to ignore word boundaries for the most part), it can indeed sound as though the native is saying "va" with an extra long "a" at the end. However, I think it should be noted that careful listening reveals that natives do, in fact, pronounce "va a" as two words and actually do insert a slight break between the vowels. That is how I was taught to speak.

I have tried every program out there and have had slow steady progression. I found your teaching style and love it. I always enjoyed Pimsluer audio, but was upset that I couldn’t read the words as I was saying them. I have tried numerous books, some of which are great, but I always needed the instant audio feedback and explanation. Your course teaches real Spanish and is amazing. I don’t know how anyone could give a thumbs down. For the love of God, please keep this program around. Simply amazing.

I started studying Spanish 10 years ago by myself and I quit. I’m certain, if I’d found your videos I’d have continued and possibly have become fluent or at least proficient. I’m just finishing this mini course and can’t wait to order your complete program. Maybe, someone can use these following tips: To be a star! To be = estar. This just helps me remember. Also, to arrive in a car reminds me of arrive = llegar.

As soon as i can afford it i will buy your main courses. REASON for anyone reading this. I feel so dumb .. stupid and blocked like i rob myself from learning like a failure and have been trying to learn for years .. i have sourced ao many videos on youtube .. internet that promises to teach you spanish.. taken classes to learn spanish even moved to south america .. and ALL is failing. But Paul your lessons give me hope .. your lessons have helped me retain spanish .. and helped me speak in small sentences .. helped me identify words when beimg spoken too. Your lessons really are the best thing i have seen online. You dont make promises like other youtube idiots that i can speak spanish in 4 weeks or 60 days they do it themselves and leave you feeling 1000 times worse. Defeated and useless and dumb to the point you give up, which i have so many times. So i thank you from the bottom of my heart. You and you alone are the reason i feel hope again. I talk about your videos and when i speak sentences to people here in Chile they are shocked because they know me they know im dumb at speaking spanish so when i use words they dont expect it and i tell them how ive learnt .. they are impressed. I thought that it was impossible to learn a new languge threw online ,untill i found Paul's minin course on youtube . At the first lesson i said myself what a fucking way is his teaching . Fool . But i just continue because of getting some vocabularies. But finish lesson 3 i realised its not joke. There is something behind in each lesson . I can get the key to open the treasure chest if i follow him slow and steady....finally i finished minicourse 10. Really awesome . Great content! As far as "what does it mean", I'd say that qué significa is much easier for me than qué quiere decir. I also recall hearing qué significa far more during my travels through Latin America.

I took Spanish in university, I went to Spanish classes, I did tons of youtube videos, and nothing has helped me more than these online classes. For the first time, I'm feeling confident enough to actually have conversations with Spanish speaking people. I'm going to Honduras next month and will be spending my entire time there with people who do not speak English, so I'm very excited.
I finished all ten mini courses and not sure where to go after this, but since you have so many other videos out, I will plunge right in. Thanks for all the help!

When you give Espanola translation of a sentence, it will be better if both English and Spanish versions appear in one screen and you read twice. Drill and repetition activate linguistic mastery

las luces apaga por la mayoría de exclusiva curso español en el mundo. cada segundo, cada minuto, cada hora, cada día, cada semana, cada mes, cada año que puedo estudiar español con señor paul, voy a. es no dudo en mi mente que mi español ha ido desde palabras y un poco frases a un todo mundo inmersión profunda. señor paul curso y lecciones de TH-cam me permite hablar como un hablante nativo. todo el mundo aquí tiene que escuchar a algo muy importante. si ustedes seguro sobre aprendiendo español porque es una mente cosa, hay no otro lugar ser pero aquí ahorita o cuando. es todo sobre tomando la inmersión sin el miedo de no puedo o no es para mi. también mis escritura en español es increíble. puedo escribir mejor que puedo hablar y es bastante natural para mi. un momento va a venir en vida cuando muchas cosas estarán no seguro donde nada mas parece que importa pero mi mundo de inglés y mi mundo de español. siento que todo que Dios crear nada puede romperlo o repararlo porque mi mente, corazón y alma son creciendo partes en lo que llamo mi manera de extraordinario inteligencia. hay tiene que ser algo en el aire y en el agua no olvida sobre mi mente. y ahorita en este momento es absolutamente algo increíble en todos lados que voy. siempre y para siempre va a mi placer y muchas gracias por ayudarme entender como expresarme en cada manera posible. en ese día cuando juntos de mis mundos mezcla como uno. realmente no Sè que va a pasar pero soy listo. uso soy porque mi ambición ser fluidez en español es demasiada alta no creo que puedo parar ahorita si trato de hacerlo. soy demasiada profunda nadando en el mundo de español y siento maravilloso saber que pongo mi mente lo y soy aquí ahorita diciendo una parte de mi viajante por español con paul y en todos lados que voy tratando una manera diferente de vida y disfrutando yo mismo como aprendo y ganar mis bendiciones desde la gente mayor de español. tengo que ir ahora pero sabes que voy a regresar probablemente mañana en TH-cam pero es todo noche con tu curso. voy dormirme jugando tu curso es música de español de mis orejas. una vez mas, gracias por todo, Cuídate, bendiciones de dios, ustedes tienen una día y vida extraordinaria . hasta conocemos otra vez. pez.
