Your videos are fantastic! I am learning Spanish faster and more effectively than ever. I appreciate you being succinct and to the point while narrowing down one issue or concept at a time.... without a lot of extemporaneous chit chat! Bravo, hombre! thank you.
I have been learning Spanish with you, Paul, for about 10 days! I can speak it a little bit, already! Your lessons make me happy because I really love Spanish and for me it's the only possible way to do it now! Gracias por todo mi amigo!
Solo quiero decir que voy a estudiar mucho tan pronto como posible, por si acaso que puedo viajar a Mexico. Pero de vez en cuando me sentido perezoso. Gracias por la leccion!
Paul. I appreciate your method of teaching. It suits me. I studied Spanish in Costa Rica for a year followed by ten years in Central America doing nursing and chaplaincy. But I’ve been back stateside for 20 years. You’re a great review!! Ruth E.
This was another fun lesson for me, Paul. Of course, I've known these four phrases for many years, so it was fun for me to try to anticipate which one you were introducing at each point in the lesson. And I'm really enjoying reading the comments from your students who are learning these phrases and trying them out for the first time. I like how you're building their confidence in practicing their Spanish here. I just hope I'm able to set as good and effective example for them as you are! :)
Hi, Paul.

Saludos. Que Dios te bendiga siempre.
HI Paul. I. want to by a class online- I do not want to study with a native person, I like the tempo of your lessons and voice ..which one is mostly you?
Hi, Paul. I'm from japan and i live in Ensenada. Your class is awesome. Already I almost understan bacic grammar of spanish, so I'd love to learn new words like today's class. Muchas grasias😀
Aquí = Here. Por Aquí/ cerca= Around, over here, when a person says to another one (which is the one that you have a meeting) that you are around... almost close in the place where you're gonna see him/her. Example: - ¿Dónde estás? Aún estoy te estoy esperando por casi dos horas desde que salí. - Oh! Lo siento, ya estoy llegando. Estoy "por aquí". Which it means: - Where are you? i'm still waiting for you almost two hours since I went out. - Oh! Sorry, I'm coming. I'm around. Also, "Por Aquí" means too that you are indicating a relate city, ville, place... where someone relate to you is and you too (but not so necessary being relate to someone) you can say it too just to express that you're in the place that someone else have mentioned. - ¿Tú también vives en Texas? / Are you too living in Texas? - Sí, yo estoy viviendo "por aquí". / Yeah, i'm living around here in Texas. - Vivo en Chicago ¿y tú en dónde? / I live in Chicago, and you? - Yo vivo "por aquí" en Texas. / I live around here in Texas. Hope you had understood. Cheer up, you can learn spanish. :)

Another wonderful lesson. Can you tell me when you use the accent with como and cuando and when you don't?
The accent is used when you make questions, like ¿Cuándo fue eso? Or ¿Cómo es eso?
Isn’t acabo de before the verb for just? I am confused. I learned the acabo de from mini course 5.
' Just ' for 'Acabo de' means a few times after done something but 'Just' for 'solo' means 'only'...sorry if my english not very well...
Love your lessons!!!!
I like the way you teach.
Good Spanish thank you
Thanks Paul that was great

What is the difference between aquí y por aquí? Gracias!
Aquí = Here.
Por Aquí/ cerca= Around, over here, when a person says to another one (which is the one that you have a meeting) that you are around... almost close in the place where you're gonna see him/her.
Example:
- ¿Dónde estás? Aún estoy te estoy esperando por casi dos horas desde que salí.
- Oh! Lo siento, ya estoy llegando. Estoy "por aquí".
Which it means:
- Where are you? i'm still waiting for you almost two hours since I went out.

Very Good lesson, learned alot! Thanks
Question: when to use lo antes posible vs tan pronto como posible for as soon as possible?
It's the same thing, but the tan pronto, gives a tone of urgency
@@mariahicks I know that I did not leave the initial comment, but I definitely needed to see this response. I needed this context! Thanks!
You are great. Now I feel myself more confident about learning spanish because of you.
