Paul. I like how the courses reviews words from previous lessons. I also appreciate how the words are built into sentences. It makes learning easy. I especially like that you teach things that I may actually use everyday.

This is the most useful and common sense way to build common sense vocabulary that I have tried in over 10 years. I have the foundation of some grammar and vocabulary but have been challenged to put it all together into conversations. Thank you paul for this simple yet brilliant method!

Gracias Paul. I have been using your lessons over this whole lockdown in 2020. I have managed to get to Lesson 4 with 99% correct in the 2 months the UK has been lockeddown. I have always wanted to be able to learn another language and you have made it very simple and easy to learn with how you start with 1 or 2 words and build on them to form a sentence. te quiero for helping me.
I break your lessons down to 10 mins and add some binural beats over you speaking and listen to you whilst i drop off to sleep. This helps mucho in retaining the lessons in my mind. then i will come back to your lesson vids the following morning and see how much i retained.
You are an excellent teacher. I wish this course was around 20 years ago. I gave up on Spanish then, but excited to rediscover it again. Thank you for making it so easy.

Hi Paul! Thank you again for this mini course and all your other videos. My family and I have learned so much and have done every youtube video you have online. My mom bought one of your online classes and loves it so much. As a family, we try and practice together and my Spanish boyfriend is very happy that I am learning proper grammar. My dad studied German at the defense language institute and said your way of teaching is very similar. The one thing that stands out is how you give confidence to the person learning through your videos/courses. My aunt in Canada is now also doing your mini courses and loves them too! 😊🌺🌷
We learned "with you" is contigo, I wasn't ready for "with me" Conmigo.
Ha ha, that also threw me off. Even though I know “conmigo” outside of this course, I also answered “contigo” reference the one he taught earlier.

Paul makes spanish easy to pronounce and learn. I think out of all the u-tuber spanish teachers he is the best!!!!

Paul, you are an amazing teacher, your technique, structure, explanation, both visual and listening technique are excellent and makes it so easy for me to learn and follow. I appreciate you Paul! The lessons you do are so great and I can see my self learning Spanish, which I did tried before and couldn't just get it. Your courses are so motivating and do what they supposed to, I do progress. You are a great teacher and patient. I can't wait to finish one lesson and start other (which I have never done in past) but I have to make sure I fully get the prior ones! All you do is so helpful and I can tell it's done from the bottom of your heart! Thank you! :)

another great video, thanks. one suggestions, you only every ask to translate from English to Spanish, how about you ask in Spanish sometimes, and we have to think of the English. get used to listening to Spanish more.

When did we cover the word "conmigo"? Did I miss a section?
I thought the same thing. Maybe he was remembering "contigo" instead.
He may of skipped over it. Quick run down of it though for anyone that needs it Con = With and Mi = Me sticking them together yields Conmigo = With me
but the "go" behind them , contiGO, ConmiGO . do they mean anything ?

Just wanted to say thanks. Between your videos ( best on youtube) and Duolingo Im speaking understandable espanol in just 1 month.
Paul makes me feel like i know what the heck i'm doing, i just have to keep repeating these mini lessons until it is ingrained in my mind. Also found a youtube channel named Fuerza de Mujer that has 264 episodes of the same name in a mini series movie that has no subtitles, but is pretty easy to start understanding spoken spanish with.I picked up about 11 new things on the recent one - Capitulo 264
I'm waiting for Paul to learn french so that he can teach me both languages. It's all about the teacher....
His method of teaching is phenomenal. I have been trying for over 15 years and could never seem to pull it together. He is AMAZING! Thank you Paul. I saw someone mention his name on another channel. He is definitely the best in my opinion.
looks like he is cooking up some new courses as well (audio comprehension & ear training and accelerate) at spanishwithpaulmembers but those 3 course are still closed at the moment, so i suspect they are not quite ready.

Love this approach! It's great how you show little pieces one at a time, and then you put them together. I am always wanting to learn phrases that I can start putting together into longer sentences. I even will do it sometimes and make up stuff that's not even true, simply because it's a way to string together little bits that I've learned. :) This is an excellent method you have here, thank you!

Yeh that was a curveball and had me going back through the video thinking I’d skipped a bit. All good though, this guy is such a good teacher I really feel like I’m learning this language rather than playing at it.

Do as I do and make a list, as you go along then. This way you can go back over them to revise them. I also pause frequently and write down the spanish before Paul reveals it, to make my brain work.
You’re able to print these on the downloads in the link below the video. It’s a zip file you’ll download and it has all the vocab that gets covered in each lesson. I hope this helps!
Thank you for the lessons Paul. I have been following them orally and at the same time writing the english and Spanish down on paper, I'm learning fast (by the way I'm Dutch, but my English is pretty decent). I just have one question, in the beginning you ask for "with me" but I'm pretty sure that's the first time you introduced it like that (we have had "with you" tho).

Fantastic! I've remembered and spoken spanish sentences after only 3 mini videos. This is much better than the spanish evening class I go to. PS There is no apostrophe in wants!!
Why we can't use para mi in this sentence= To wait for me = esperar para mi. We using esparame........why????? Any Grammar point herr...?
I believe he goes over this in either this lesson or mini course 2. Esperar in this case should be thought of as "to await". So when you say esperarme you are saying "to await me". Thats the idea behind the meaning in spanish when translating to english. Might want to learn all you can about pronouns as well to understand it better.
I have been trying to learn Spanish via Duolingo for a long time now. I have learnt quite a few words but wasnt able to get a good enough grasp of the language to be able to speak it. I was about to throw in the towel (so to speak) when I came across 'Spanish with Paul'. Wow - thats all I can say - wow! I did the first mini course four times I think - until I was confident enough to move on to the second one. By the time I deemed myself proficient in course one, I had found confidence a million to continue on. Thank you and thank you again. I am going to America next October (2020) to visit my Son and his wife, and after finding your course, I am confident that I will be able to speak Spanish to anyone else who does! And my Son says that in Texas many speak Spanish! Cheers, Paul.
