I gained confidence with each set. Ultimately ran in track with t/c off. No heat soak. But i noticed my coolant was a hair lower than it should be. Stay tuned this coming weekend I hit Big Willow.
it makes me really sad there discontinuing these zl1 and 1le editions before i can even buy a car in my name but hopefully in 2026 once i turn 19 ill be able to find one of somebody im not gonna give up in getting this car

Thanks bro! Brakes were great no over heating nada. I replaced the fluid with motul rbf660 befofe i went out and bled them after the day. Ill switch to castrol srf as it holds up longer without needing as much bleeding.

Man I’m glad you’re enjoying your car. I bought mine this month and it has been an unfortunate series of events. I ppf the car and ceramic coating and bought carbon fiber splitter and side skirts. Only for a moron to hit my car while it’s parked. Now the body shop wants to undo the PPF, repaint, remove the side skirts and ofc the cost of the body work. I almost want to sell the car lol not knowing it’s brand new is killing me.
Man im sorry to hear about that! Ya know a lot of cars get damaged but get repaired and look just like before. The cars never new i hate to say it. Even the dealer could have repaired something before sale but i totally know that feeling. See how the fix comes out I think itll work out for ya!

Ill be getting the rear cradle lockout for sure. Wheels are in the works probably not the 1le size though

@theboo4u depends on your organizer. Extremespeed is the cheapest around $150 others may be more. They tend to not have good timing though

That was a fully built roll cage race car. And we werent racing one by one we were timing. I passed him earlier I let him pass this round and gained distance to cut back on rock chips.

Legit question because i planned to stay the night but I lagged too much so just left around 5am the same day. Tracked it. Then drove home as was back around 7pm. Filled up the tank about 3 times haha

What were your times compared to ss1le? Any heat soak in the LT4?
No heat soak at all. My lap times well this was counter clockwise which i never ran in the SS. I was beating the times of the other guys there with lt1s with 1le suspension and another ss1le. Im doing big willow this weekend and will be able to compare to my ss 1le time though! Im pretty sure ill pickup a few seconds on that track.
Did you take out the water guard for the track day and any front licence plate holders?
@onelifedriva yeah i took the rain guard off and had no front plate. Removed the tire inflator and the trunk carpet thing and pretty much full send.
@@Hot-1LE Awesome stuff, I have a feeling lots of people that experience heat soak it’s either really hot or they didn’t remove the rain guard. Wicked video still, love the drives and audio! Manual ZL1 all the way. Looking forward to all the content to come. Trying to get myself one soon before the apocalypse. 🥲
@OneLifeDriva thank you bro! I think on a moving road coarse it shouldnt ever see heat soak. I know if you drag race this it will heat soak while the engine is off before the next run. I popped my hood after each 20min set but never saw an issue. Good luck getting one, amazing cars!
