- AZ-900 even in 2024 is one of the most popular cloud certifications on the market. And why not, it's easy, it's affordable and requires no prior IT experience.
But what I don't enjoy is when I see people willing to shell out hundreds and thousands of dollars to prepare for this certification, when it can practically be done for free. (Save your money for Azure Admin and Azure Architect Trainings). If you want to Pass the AZ-900 Exam, you can do essentially a $0 prep.
In this video is my personal favourite strategy for Passing this exam (and how I cleared it).

It's an entry level cloud cert.
You can go much deeper into azure with AZ-104, AZ-300 etc too. But it's quite a useful certification if you're entering basic IT or cloud sales.
There's also a thing called LEARN from Microsoft: it is reading material followed by lab, then material then lab, repeat. They have this for Az900 and more

Yes, azure fundamentals is a lifelong certification.
Seems like a correction is due in the video.
Az900 certificate doesn't have any validity like other Azure certificates.

I am surprised you suggest 2 weeks or less for studying.
There is plenty of materials to be learned and study.
If someone wants to move to AZ 104, then really study the AZ 900 as much as you can.
Hundreds fail the exam every time, it is not as easy as you claim.
MS changes the format of the questions on every test.

Three days? Like 3x24hrs? In three days (3-4 hrs/day) man can't prepare for anything...
For passing the test you don't need to shell out any money.
But AFTER passing the test if you want to dive deeper into Azure without getting into Associate or Expert then maybe you could buy a book or something. But never spend hundreds of dollar for the AZ-900. Never.
How much time it'll take to complete AZ-900 and AZ-104 for becoming eligible to appear for the interviews?
2-3 weeks for AZ-900 for a complete beginner, about 3-4 weeks for AZ-104 after AZ-900.

Not really, man. You can take it from home though, but it'll still be proctored.

Yes, and listening too. You need to be alone in the room where you're taking the test.
And there should be no written material around you. They ask for the room's photos right before the test.

Yes, intermittently. Both via camera and microphone.

Varies with time, slightly moving towards practical questions. I’d suggest looking up previously asked questions.

As far as the DB Administration is concerned, GCP offers some amazing services tbh. Certification-wise Azure is more detailed, service-wise GCP.

As far as development is concerned, it’ll come naturally with a bit of time and practice.

Log into to the portal where you booked the exam, you should be able to see the instructions to launch it too.

Useless repetitions. And it does not harm to spend some money on a high-rated course and practice tests which will reduce your research time on google. I have seen people failing this "fairly easy" exam. So, my humble appeal is to instead of depending on some random free tests, and testing the free material on the internet, follow the experts.
Let me speak practically
It's not so easy to clear within a week
Because the study material is 9.x hours in which you have hands on lab to so don't rush to finish in 6-7 hours.
And also check once the question it also depends on how much u understand cloud

That's actually a pretty good site too. The questions are quite accurate.
Also, it's not that one needs to do a 7 hour stretch in one go, that'd not be ideal for a beginner. Split the hours up. You can finish it at your own pace, but don't take too long either; takes away from the momentum. I hope this helps.
