COUNTERFEIT slabs and coins. Sometimes the slabs themselves can be counterfeit along with the coin inside. Or a slab can be authentic but the coin is not. Educate and subscribe.
Also what helps now is NGC and PCGS have software so you can scan QR box or bar codes to verify the genuine slabbed coin by them and more certification companies are adapting. Just go to google pay or apple store and download for free.
Bought a fake slab last week from ebay when under 30x loupe the letters and numbers had evidence of trapped air bubbles from casting.I had a refund within an hour and the seller played dumb and a victim and 2 days later he had 3 more fakes on his site with visible bubbles in the photo.
Also disreputable grading services, my brother got a complete set of proof silver state quarters from 'millennium coin services'. He was pretty disappointed when I explained that they were fakes
