I've been clean since 2015 but I haven't found happiness since then...I wish everyone would know the pain and long term damage it does before they choose to party with opiates

That's not taking away from Tom in any way shape or form but it's just how good NF is if you ask me. To each their own though. NF makes a lot of tracks about mental health and if you've never struggled or have known someone who struggled with mental health, it's less relatable whereas Tom talks about messed up situations in the world with controversial opinions. They're both great at what they do and I did get some newfound respect after Withdrawals because it was actually really deep an personal and to me, relatable except not with drugs but with food

Heard you say puppy. About this time last year, that dog Naz(zareth) went in to remove a growth on his leg. During surgery he did not take well to the anesthesia, went into a coma, died, was revived, was blind for 4 days, was paraplegic for a day, regained sight, and now is fully recovered. Even though that is not Tom's dog, it is Nova's dog he is as close to Naz, as he is to his own dog Steppenwolf. The 4 dogs are: Steppenwolf, Nazareth (Naz), Bruce, and Hendrix (Henry).

I don't mean any offense to you personally but so many people don't understand what he's explaining for withdrawl symptoms- sweating all over, throwing up, can't eat, can't move off the floor is very real. This could be symptoms from alchohol, prescription pills, drugs. They can ALL be this bad if your dependency is that level. Most people dont plan on being there then they cant get out. I've witnessed it first hand and lost loved ones because they couldn't win this battle. It's a real crisis and killing mass amounts of people every day. Awareness and education about addiction and recovery should be a priority. Crazy it's not when everyone has a cause these days.
