@goingplacesoz another enjoyable video guys ...thankyou. We met you guys at the top and had a chat. Heights are not my thing and we bailed on Bluff Knoll. Your video shows how tough a climb it is. Love how you film and present your videos. Well done Svedos family.
Congratulations! What an achievement for all of you. A fear of heights is nothing to laugh at, so well done Mel. Thank you so much for sharing parts of this beautiful country that some of us “older” folk may not be able to see.
Hi guys, wow! Well done doing that hike to the skywalk everyone, and you were extremely brave Mel🏆 That hike to Bluff Knoll looked really hard, again well done guys. It nearly beat you Brett, which is rare for you. Kaylee & Owen are awesome little hikers. As always, I love the drone footage. Glad you got to visit the winery Mel. I agree Brett, your little family looked very smart all dressed up. Enjoy the weekend, safe travels. See you next week, Lyn ❤
Well done the Skywalk Mel is not for the faint hearted, we are 68 and it took a while and a bag of fruit for energy to get up there but it was worth it. So nice coming down though. We love that area in winter for adventures out in the Stirling Ranges ( Red Gum Pass Road) to some epic morning sun rises and clouds sitting low on the hills. We chickened out on Bluff Knoll. Thanks it was a enjoyable video.
Well done Mel, that took a lot of guts. I’m totally scared of heights too. I would not of even attempted that. Amazing footage. At least I got to see it through your camera. 👌🥂
As someone that’s terrified of heights too I felt that you did so well! Probably better than I would haha! Winery as a reward is awesome, well done hubby!
Did the Skywalk a few months ago. My legs were stiff and sore for a week. I could never have contemplated Bluff Knoll too! (I'm not as young as I used to be). Toolbrunup in the Stirlings is fantastic too. At the top it feels like you are on a magic carpet way above the ground.
Well done Mel. You're an inspiration to all of us that have a fear of heights. Its one thing to try and conquer one's fear of heights and of course its great if you can but if you can't after at least trying, as in your case, don't stress out too much about it. I can't even after trying 7 times, so l'm not going to keep pushing myself. I also have a fear of deep water but l'm having much better success at conquering that, as l so much want to buy a boat and go fishing. (Inland waters only!!) I truly admire your determination and wish you well in overcoming your fear of heights. I'm a new subscriber to your channel and loving it. Happy travels to you and your family.
In the 1970's I tried to solve my fear of heights, by running off 600 & 800 foot cliffs strapped into a hang glider. Sadly it didn't work, as EVERY SINGLE LAUNCH was completely terrifying, though as soon as the glider was flying it all became heaven and absolutely worth it. To fly like the birds, is something to treasure, to never forget. I also remember the terror of running at those cliff edges :).
Hey guys, this week’s adventure across the Granite Skywalk and Bluff Knoll looked bloody scary and awe-inspiring at the same time. You guys are true adventurers, and the kids just take these hikes in their strides, amazing!!! Mel, you’re braver than me as I also have a healthy fear of heights!! So a HUGE well done to you! 🏆 Stay safe, and looking forward to the next adventure. 👍 Kind regards, Corrie
Appreciate how hard call this is, we did it in early January. I miss read the sign and thought it was 2.2kms return 🙄🤔 as you said 2kms of steep stairs. Rewarding views at the end
Well done going up the ladder at the sky walk. We did it a week or so ago but I never made it up the final ladder. My daughter and I waited, as wifey and son reached the top. I don’t like heights either. Saw you guys in Manjimup at the skate park, hope not too many bruises!
Well done on exploring some our local natural features. I've only been up Bluff Koll 11 times. You guys up for 10 more climbs? My cousin's husband ran from Albany and ran up Bluff Knoll all in one day as a fundraiser. Appreciating your videos, hope you get to explore beautiful Albany shortly. Best time of year to be here is Autumn. Make sure you visit Little Beach, IMHO the best beach in Australia.
U should do devils slide that is a good walk. There is a lot of great things to see here in and around Albany and the south west of wa. I hope u al have a good time down here.
Well done Mel as it's not easy to overcome fears. I climb very high Telecommunication towers with no problems, but I do not like balconies on buildings as I cannot actually see what is holding them up......but it is all in the head, and so hard to override your brain 🙂
Another great video. One thing that makes me cringe is incorrect pronunciation of kilometre. You don’t say cent -timetre or mil-limetre. Correct pronunciation is milli metre, centi metre and of course kilo metre. You’re not the only ones that do this.
Congratulations Svedos family for undertaking these massive climbs. Your photography is spectacular too. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Thank you very much!
WOW WHAT A VIEW! AWESOME EFFORT & ACHIEVEMENT!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you 🤗

Awesome effort by all of you!

Awsome views and well done M for conquering those fears 🤙
Thank you it means alot
I did Bluff Knoll back in the 70s and it is a magnificent up there but the weather can change in 1 hour
I guess that's why they have the sign. No dramas with weather on our day but. Thanks for watching.

Thank you, it's a pretty part of Australia for sure.
Well done Mel. You can be so proud of yourself. To overcome such a challenge is inspiring 🌟. Great drone footage 😊❤
Thank you, it's a challenge I will hopefully overcome eventually.
Well done Mel, that took a lot of guts. I’m totally scared of heights too. I would not of even attempted that. Amazing footage. At least I got to see it through your camera. 👌🥂
Your welcome. Glad we could share it with you.
Great looking country and a fantastic view from the top thanks for taking us on your journey.
Our pleasure!

The kids just power along and make us look unfit haha.
OH my god you are so brave 😮 I’m terrified of heights also but you are unbelievable 😅 that wine must of tasted fantastic 🍷🥂
Made the wine all the sweeter.

Beautiful views at the end and the exercise is good for us 👍

Not too many bruises, but some scrapes not too bad though

Well done Mel.👍
If you don’t mind tell me which drone do you use?
