Hey Brett & Mel, thanks for sharing. I loved the treetop walk. Well done Mel! 🎉 Brett, the drone footage was awesome, as usual. Well done with the lock repairs, and I hope the lack of power didn't cause too much of an issue. Safe travels and see you next week, Lyn ❤
Hey guys, great vlog! It’s a shame about the caravanning dramas, but you guys can still raise a smile in the face of some bad luck. Brett, good work on the locksmith job! Geez, the South West Coast of WA can throw some weather curveballs. The treetop walk looked pretty cool, and Mel, Tarzan would be proud of you swinging between the trees! It looks like your wine and cheese rewards might be coming to an end as you continue to conquer your fear of heights! Thanks for sharing! Stay safe, and I’m looking forward to the next adventure. 👍 Kind regards, Corrie
Great video. Just a tip - we just converted our starlink to 12volt and the difference is huge. Only uses about 30watts. If you google it it is really easy and no cable cutting required. Just three items which we bought from Amazon. Massive difference in consumption.
😂 Thanks for the pillow tip.. I'll try that on my better half later. As for the power, we've been been there and survived, boring but survivable. My wife has actually completed this tree top walk, plus a couple others. Don't throw that screw away, it belongs inside the lock somewhere. Where? I don't know. That's another of life's little wonders. Cheers, don't worry, be happy, there's plenty of wine and cheese at the end of the day. Cheers. .
Hi guys, enjoyed the video thanks. I also have a few of heights but never let it stop me from doing the things I want when going on adventures. The main way of coping is to always try to look out and avoid looking down.
We went on that tree top walk too, it was so windy. What made it worse was there was 3 guys in their 30s jumping around on it and thought it was funny. With my fear of heights and finding out later my husband’s blood pressure was extremely high ended up in hospital. Let’s just say we won’t ever be doing things like that ever again.😢
No we diddnt make it there. As we say but, leave things undone so you have a reason to go back. Have loved the South West of WA, wouldn't mind coming back.
No, we hate generators personally. Nothing ruins a camp more than listening to a gene run, but on top of that as a family in a single Axel van, we have bugger all payload to work with so couldn't have one even if we wanted it.
You learn hard lessons from mistakes with power. We left our fridge in the car plugged into the van overnight and woke up to get on the SOT with a flat battery and no chance to solar recharge all day. Won't make that mistake again and I'm sure you won't either!!!!!
@@SvedosTrippin yeah I been watching heaps. I'm on sick leave at the moment so I have been watching heaps. Haha I might do a screenshot and send it to Instagram. I'm so close to seeing all the episodes.
That would be a last resort. The way our car is wired when plugged in to the car and on it only puts in about 10 amps to the van, so would take a long time with the car on to get any meaningful charge into n the van.

Thanks so much! We managed to get through the low power by being frugal with power. Glad you enjoyed the episode.

Thanks Corrie. The south West of WA is alot like tassie when it comes to weather. But also alot like tassie in how beautiful it is.

Great tip! I will have to look into it.
You're not alone mum. I'd be packing it up on that tree top walk also.
Haha.
My wife was clinging to the bloody couch during the tree top experience so I put cushions on the floor. Gee I’m good to her. 😂
Haha

Mel well done on tree top walk fighting one’s fears is so hard sometimes but you are killing it !
Thank you.
"I'm sure as shit wont be!! Take me to the winery!!" 👌🤣
That's our mel ❤️ 👏

Nice. Keep camping!

Oh that's sounds terrible. People can be so rude hey...
Hi guys I’ve never been to a winery, do you remember how much the wine and cheese was? The beach was amazing. Travel safe.
The plank (wine and cheese board) was $25 from memory. Thanks for watching and commenting 😀.
I absolutely love green pool, it's just that tad bit too far from home to go often
It's a very pretty part of Australia isnt it.
What a legend Mel, pushing yourself through your fears. Good on ya
Thank you.
Ziggy is the winner in RV lifestyle- pancakes went down well 😊 Denmark is a beautiful place for sure… be back there very soon 😎
Loved Denmark it is very pretty.
Making memories! Even though they aren’t always helpful, but somethings to laugh about later!
If you don't laugh you cry 🤣
I can remember doing the tree top walk and it didn't cost at all
That's about sums up Australia for you doesn't it...
Good fishing for tailor and herring
Just love your drone footage
Thanks so much.
Well done Mel. You are gradually overcoming your fear of heights 😊❤
I hope so! but it still scares the crap out of me.
Well done again Mel …. Conquer those fears …. What a legend 👏🤙
Thank you.
We love our Bakery visits as well….. and also do the take your own tomato sauce trick!! 👍👍
It's so good! Wouldn't recommend this one but. 9 bucks for average pies.
Setup larger auxiliary lithium in ute, take 5-10amps at night to van, easier to recharge auxiliary lithium while day touring
Mate your onto something with that and it is exactly what we are planning.
All of your videos are great, they're really informative and entertaining as well. I'm very happy I found your channel, keep up the great work! 👍🏻
Glad you like them!
Great clip guys, looking forward to the next one.
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi guys did you go to peacefull bay it’s nice there is a caravan park there to

Skywalk looked Awsome. Great effort Mel! Some things are sent to try us. Great fixit skills Brett. Keep on exploring & having FUN🥰🥰🥰🥰MUM❣️
Thanks! Will do!
Well done Mel!
Thank you.
1200-watt generator on the to buy list?
Bad and good times all part of the experience 🙂
No, we hate generators personally. Nothing ruins a camp more than listening to a gene run, but on top of that as a family in a single Axel van, we have bugger all payload to work with so couldn't have one even if we wanted it.
Good on ya Mel, Great reward too.
Thanks 👍
great vid...
Thanks.
Top effort on the tree top walk Mel. What is the beach shelter you have and where did you get your book cover from? Great episode
Hi mate, the shade we use is called an aurora shade. We have the medium size.
You learn hard lessons from mistakes with power. We left our fridge in the car plugged into the van overnight and woke up to get on the SOT with a flat battery and no chance to solar recharge all day. Won't make that mistake again and I'm sure you won't either!!!!!
Yeah, we always learn from our mistakes. It's just the South West and it's cloudy weather. We managed to get through it ok but.
Greens pool
I think ive seen all your episodes soon. Not much left to see. Can use see who has seen the most??
@priscillacatania8275 wow what an achievement and no I can't see who's watched.

Chicken Pie 😩😂 reminds me of our experience in Jamestown, asked for a beef pie with sauce & got a beef pie with mayo instead 🤮
That sounds awful 😖
Don't have a generator
Nope, never plan to either. Noisy bloody things.
Poor Mel. North of $50 to be tortured 😢
Yeah, the things we do haha.
Hey guys Castle Rock is very good work and lookout
It really is.
@@SvedosTrippin see you at CC show
Does Mel feel green just like the canopy?
She's a trooper.
why not just run the car to charge the van battery
That would be a last resort. The way our car is wired when plugged in to the car and on it only puts in about 10 amps to the van, so would take a long time with the car on to get any meaningful charge into n the van.
