I am Japanese and I will explain you about “Go to hell” by Polnareff.
The original line 地獄でやってろ(Jigoku de yattero）includes the nuance “Your faith towards DIO is so disgusting, and I cannot stand it. Do just as you like in hell.” This is very difficult to translate into English.
“地獄で(jigoku de）” means “in hell”, and “やってろ(yattero）” means “Do as you like” or “Have it your way”.
Polnareff is disgusted with Vanilla Ice because he has swallowed his noble life as human (Iggy, even a dog has a noble mind）. So “地獄でやってろ” goes deeper than “Go to hell”.
Damn fitting all that into a couple words is cool ngl
Reading this over I think “Rot in hell.” would’ve conveyed the message better than “Go to hell.”
@@pizzaman9859 so “rot” in this case means like “do stupid thing”? Actually I felt something is wrong in this “go to hell”, too.
@@TM-fx4vc Nah "rot" in this case would mean more of Polnareff telling Vanilla Ice that his actions disgust him and are worth sending him to hell to suffer slowly.
Japanese is such a cool language, i love how they manage to make long sentences with just a few word

Honestly, I was heartbroken at the way Polnareff "went out" in this episode, Vanilla Ice pummeling towards him while he sits helpless made me want to cry. This dude almost killed 3 people from the group by himself, and we hadn't even gotten to Dio yet. An excellent villain.
Well to be fair, D'arby almost got them all, and he's got a relatively weak stand

Yeah, and if you think about it his stand was pretty op, it's only weakness was the inability of the user to see so once in a while they have to poke their head out.

He got like 28 episodes I think, Joseph got only like 3 on his own (but he did get a whole part), Kakyoin had a few fights, and he even had more than Jotaro THE MAIN CHARACTER. He had more screen time than jotaro in 2 parts...

I always used to think that if Iggy got more screen time with the gang instead of wandering off, people might like him more. I felt like he was gone the moment he was introduced. He didn't have time to warm their hearts. At least that's what i think.
If iggy didn’t sacrifice himself for polneriff including avodal sacrifice would giorno and his gang really been able to defeat the boss??

If iggy didnt sacrifice himself vanilla ice would kill iggy (cuz he was injured) and joined dio, cream + za warudo vs hermit purple hierophant green and star platinum i think Dio and vanilla ice would win then Dio would have conquered the world and Diavolo and all that shit would not happen so Avdol and Iggy’s sacrifice changed the whole JoJo story ;-;
Iggy would later die from his wounds The Rest of the crusaders will get to that room and see A dead iggy and polnareff's earing. They would fight against Cream and there could be a chance that they win or that One of them dies. But to answer your question i don't think they would because King Crimson is way to powerful. No Polnareff means that no one went to europe or italy in search for Diavolo. Jotaro would be in Morioh but would leave and go to Italy around the time part 5 starts. Even with the ability to stop time Jotaro could only do it for 5 seconds and Diavolo can skip 10 seconds as well as able to use epitaph to look 10 seconds into the future. Jotaro would probably lose to him.

But Diavolo would still get the arrow though, so he still can get King Crimson later on.
If the Crusaders had lost, DIO would have ruled Za Warudo, and Diavolo would nothing more than an underling to DIO. People forget that DIO was constantly improving his time stop ability so by the time Diavolo gains the ability to skip time, DIO probably would've mastered ZA WARUDO to stop time for as long as he would've wanted.

I got so attached to Iggy and Kakyoin, I can't bring myself to watch the whole episode where he died, this already made me cry like a baby.

The death +the music+the destruction of The Fool+Polnareff crying when he realized that he like him.. Bro that was a powerful cocktail of tears, sadness and regrets (for hating iggy for a while, like Polnareff I realize to late that I liked him)
