I have only flown with Southwest because I’m a bit on the plus size but i manage to fit on my seat but i normally lift the armrest and my husband sits with me so if i go an inch over its no biggie. Would you say the spirit seats are the same as Southwest or would you recommend getting the big comfy seat?
I'd say they're pretty similar. BUT, Spirit now has different "levels" of booking. I'd recommend the "Go Comfy" option or the "Go Big" option. I'm flying "Go Comfy" on my next trip....they block off the middle seat, so no one can sit there (and you get a checked back AND a carry on bag. The "Go Big" is basically first class with those big seats at the front, and you get bags, snacks, and alcohol included 😉
Are you able to move the armrest up on the go comfy? I know for the go big you cant. It’s only an hour and a half flight so i don’t need much but since ive never flown outside of southwest i don’t know what to expect with other budget airlines.
@@MariaLopez-x4l9g yes, you can! It's literally just the first few sets of normal seats right behind the big comfy seats. So they're normal rows/seats. They just block the middle seat so no one can book it.
I would rather drive to Florida than fly Southwest. The planes were old and sounded like it would fall apart. JetBlue all the way for us non-stop. JetBlue flight attendants are super nice as well. Southwest Airlines was not as pleasant and I hate the way you get a grouping. So maybe for those who will fly Southwest the assigned seats will hopefully help . But nope never ever ever again will we fly Southwest. My teens refuse to fly Southwest as well they would rather drive and stop at different places for a fun adventure. 🌴

@@MariaLopez-x4l9g at least that's what the map looks like when you book. Can confirm for sure once I fly in a few weeks😉
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. :)
