Kookal falls totally has 2 km of trekking and you need to go down while reacing the Falls and need to trek vertically while going back.
Horse will be there for the rent and you can afford it if you couldn't reach back to the top.
Kookal fall is opened anytime and you can take a bath without any issues.
There are no leeches anywhere while we went trek dyeing summer and chances are there during monsoon time.
