This is probably my favorite part of A New Hope. I going to try this out and see if I can make a Cantina of my own. I never really noticed how the horseshoes could make for a Cantina bar. I also think that the drink dispenser is really good.
Hey BudgetJedi, I've been watching a lot of your videos. You do such great work! I love how the bar dispensory items look. It's in the same spirit as the original film in using whatever is available to use! Awesome job, as always!
Very epic! As soon as the lights went down, the Cantina theme popped into my head! ^_^ Also, the bar drink dispenser bits are nothing short of brilliant, movie accurate or not! You've captured the look and feel of a "Hive of scum and villainy!" - well done!
Absolutely excellent! Very inventive and creative the way you used the horseshoes and found things around your house to construct the rest of it. Very, very cool and one of the coolest custom Cantinas I have seen.
WOW THIS IS AN AMAZING DIORAMA!! And sooooooooooooo creative too! :) The catina bar is one of my favorite star wars areas in all the star wars movies :) Great job :)
you are absolutely AMAZING ED...CREATIVE doesn't even cut it...you WOW me every time you show us your creation from scratch...you make it seem so easy...thanks again for inspiring us...
Omg, I'm completely speechless man! I see you got the new Snaggletooth figure too~ I really love how you did the center piece of the drink machine. The use of horse shoe is simply genius! The lighting really bring this piece alive indeed. :) Fantastic work!
I've always liked dioramas since I was a kid... i'm 43 now. Sadly, most of mine were of the temporary kind, constantly evolving wherever my imagination would take me. Thanks for the memories & great job, I hope you inspire others to take up such a rewarding endeaver.
This is def. one of your best, and that's saying a lot since you've made a ton of great displays. I love how you can see plastic horseshoes and think of the Cantina.
hey budget jedi a few suggestions for for cantina. 1- an idea i used for the edging was an old extension cord and paint it grey with acrylic paint. 2- for the floor you can go to walmart and pick up in the sewing section what is called plastic canvas. it has little grids on it and best of all costs about 25 cents a sheet. all thats left is to spray paint it grey. 3 you should also put your han vs gredo scene together with your bar scene in that extra part you have beside from that great diorama!
I don't really want to collect Star Wars figures specifically, but I've been wanting to make a bar type area for my space characters in general, and I've always envisioned the Star Wars cantina being the focal point. Thank you.
wow, the drinks at the bar are really well done! the whole thing is great. and i see what you mean. using those lights really adds to these dioramas. i really like this one!
Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said 15 times already! Amazing job as always Ed! Maybe one of these days I'll make an attempt at the Mos Eisley Cantina. I also couldn't help but notice the kmart exclusive At-St in the background. I didn't know those were out yet, but the prices online are already inflated! I don't go to Kmart often, but I might have to make an exception. Out of curiosity, what's the retail price for him? Once again, great work!
This is by far my favorite of your dioramas...because it starts out as this vision that 99.9 percent of people would never notice...when I see crappy plastic horseshoes...I think "crappy plastic horseshoes" hahaha and the random stuff you use for the for the bar....I recognize the audio plugs, the testors paint bottle...but it completely works on that scale...well done!
I love this , these make good backdrops. damn good work. If you go to a bead shop you can get "findings"they are exelent for valves and beverage taps for dispensers . good luck dude.
Awesomeness at it's budgety best! Loved it mate, especially all the drinks dispensers - who'd a thought a few raw plugs and paper clips could be so....awesome!
Very interesting. I would maybe have done this myself if I had seen it sooner. I cut mine from a thick piece of Styrofoam cut out on a scroll saw. I wasn't sure if the saw would tear it up or not but it actually cut through really clean and the edges are all perfectly square.
Hey bugetjedi I'm a long time watcher, but just recently started working on my own dioramas. I have collected at least one of every jedi and sith figure hasbro has ever maid. So I decided to make a sith and jedi temple. Not the one from the movie because of space but based on what a sith and jedi temple would have looked like if was ancient by the time the movies took place. I have been collecting cardboard, Styrofoam, and lots of other odds and ends.your work has inspired me and I thank you for posting your videos. If you have any ideas that could help in my dioramas, it would be greatly appreciated. I hope to hear from you soon.
Thats' a fantastic idea, yes I hope to make my own temple one day. Did you ever play knights of the old republic? I would go with that look, with very large pillars, etc. If you look up "the old republic cutscenes" some of those have the temples that the jedi ruled in. I hope that helps!
Yes I was looking at some of the koroban cut scenes and I like what I saw. The hard part is bringing it down to scale.thank you for your advice. When I can I would to show you my progress. Your opinion would mean a lot.
sorry I am late to this my friend, been on holiday. you have a gifted eye for items that can be used in a diorama lol, I love the drink dispenser section, looks awesome, the lighting was also a very good idea. great video man :)
thanks for watching - the At-St is the same as the legacy one in 2009, no improvements, but worse because hasbro attempted to make the feet look muddy but instead it looks like they have been dipped in melted godiva chocolate.
You have a AWSOME imagination! It's really funny how some things we tend to look at,reminds us of Star Wars! Star Wars was such a BIG part of my life, and still is. So much to the point, that I strongly believe that it kept me out of trouble when I was a kid because I lived in a bad neighborhood. So instead of selling drugs like everybody else in my neighborhood,I was up in my play room playing Star Wars! So to me,It might have saved my life in the long run.
Thanks for watching and the kind words! I have lumiya figure but don't know anything about her so very unlikely. Mostly I want to enjoy only OTC scenes, thanks!
Super awesome Ed! You really did a great job. It's spectacular. The cantina drink vents is just fantastic. Another impressive innovative ingenuity and creativity. will try making this scene too but have to find the bar tender and some characters in the cantina scene. Great video Ed...as always! :)
Those pen tops and paperclips look great! I never would have thought of that. I know it's not 100% accurate, but it's better than the actual film version in my opinion. Great initiative!
As i understand it, right now the most accurate torso for boshek is on bossk. you would have to repaint him dark green of course, and then replace the arms and legs from that of an a-wing fighter pilot or something? As always my friend thanks for watching and the support thanks so much and if you make a few boshek figures can i buy one from you!!!!
Hey bud! those at-st are $35 right now. But way higher online ouch! i would patiently wait for them though. I know you are very crafty with your cardboard so you can make this one easily. Thanks so much for the kind comment and watching!
Ed, You are very welcome. You've become one of my new favorite channels to watch on YT. I have seen your Marvel Universe Haul video's. I think it is cool if you put your new finds in your videos, oppose to doing a straight haul video. I always try to change the back drop a little bit on the Geeking Out show, just so you guys can see something a little different every time. You gotta very up the eye candy. LOL! TTYS. LS
Ed, This video is amazing!!! I love that you have the new VOTC K-Mart AT-ST Walker in the background of the video. I will have to try my local K-Mart to see if they have it. Great job again, "impressive, most impressive!" TTYS. LS
excellent job you do !, i believe you really enjoy it, and at low cost which is better!, i left my comment here because this was my favorite diorama, i am thinking on doing one for my collection. and i am also wondering on making a dagobah scene !
I think your Wampa cave is the best dio you've ever done...it really shows your growth and experience as a crafty guy.....but this is my favorite video of the TBJ legacy
Thanks, that wampa cave was crazy. it was huge. It's one of those things that I built then look back and say I can't believe i built such a huge thing lol. I wish i had done more work on this one though, with paint, etc. this one looks so unfinished! I might have to work hard to suprise you with better things -
Taking a break from my self teaching of After Effects...so here I am Lol...if I can round up the figures, I might try to remake this video verbatim....for it's my fave of yours, and the sheer humor of it would be epic hahahah
wow! bravo bravo man! top snacks! great job! really enjoyed watching this. I have to say youre very smart man to be creative. it really did do you justice. big thumbs up!
You should cut that side wall out,and put the band members in there on a stage. That would be AWSOME! And remember to add some tea lights to some of the displays to help bring them to life.
My god the nostalgia from
Your Star Wars diorama vids is just absolutely serene, thank you 🙏
I like what you did with the drink dispensers.... looks great imo
You are a HUGE inspiration to me, I love how you can turn average objects into something I'm very passionate about. You’re amazing Ed.
Awesome display. I think the drink dispensers look real. Looks really cool
I watch this video at least 4 times a year....it's the ultimate "comfort Vlog" =)
hahah yeahh! it's 14 mins long, gotta be one of my longest vids I think
billmaa ME TOO!!!
This is probably my favorite part of A New Hope. I going to try this out and see if I can make a Cantina of my own. I never really noticed how the horseshoes could make for a Cantina bar. I also think that the drink dispenser is really good.
This looks like a vast improvement over the Kenner playset that was minutes of fun.
Thanks for watching
You improvised really well with this, especially the drink dispencer. Great job.
Hey BudgetJedi, I've been watching a lot of your videos. You do such great work! I love how the bar dispensory items look. It's in the same spirit as the original film in using whatever is available to use! Awesome job, as always!
This one is your BEST display to date. Your getting more creative as you go! This one is just GREAT!
Budget Jedi I just love all of your dioramas they look almost like the ones in the movies
Very epic! As soon as the lights went down, the Cantina theme popped into my head! ^_^ Also, the bar drink dispenser bits are nothing short of brilliant, movie accurate or not! You've captured the look and feel of a "Hive of scum and villainy!" - well done!
Thanks a lot Jamie, really appreciate the kind words! I should really work on a real setup instead of a cheap one!
I just love your work and how you explain everything in great detail.

Brilliantly innovative crafting! Thank you for sharing. You offer me a lot of inspiration.

Great work! You definitely need the Cantina Band!
yes i do!
excellent work
I always watch your star wars dioramas before I got to sleep, it just makes me calm down
This is def. one of your best, and that's saying a lot since you've made a ton of great displays. I love how you can see plastic horseshoes and think of the Cantina.

Dude this is the most coolest diorama I've seen plus my favourite part of it is the beverage bar.
This is very cool! I really like how it turned out, and your use of random objects is ingenious. :)
Love the push lights Budget Jedi - its funny because I was looking into those for my raptor hatchling display - thanks for sharing!
I love your dioramas. Such a great use of simple stuff and garbage.
awesome man, i am amazed with your star wars dioramas, great job, i cant describe how perfect they are
I love how you did your Cantina Bar I'm trying to make my own Cantina and Jaba Palace and you give me great ideas 😁🖒
Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said 15 times already! Amazing job as always Ed! Maybe one of these days I'll make an attempt at the Mos Eisley Cantina. SO impressive, another awesome diorama mate! And with the lights on, WOW!
Amazing man, just amazing, i could sit back and watch that diorama for hours.
Cool thanks for watching. i would love to if I had time, usually I only do dioramas that are small and easy. That is an epic scene for a diorama!
I love this , these make good backdrops. damn good work. If you go to a bead shop you can get "findings"they are exelent for valves and beverage taps for dispensers . good luck dude.
i love seeing these come together, if i had the room i would attempt one myself
center of the bar is great.. I love the compact idea.
Awesomeness at it's budgety best! Loved it mate, especially all the drinks dispensers - who'd a thought a few raw plugs and paper clips could be so....awesome!
You are very creative. I really like your approach to every piece you make :)
you make the best dioramas for me thank you for inspiering me to do stuff like this
You really are the diorama don dude! Epic work as usual. Quite stunned actually!
Very interesting. I would maybe have done this myself if I had seen it sooner. I cut mine from a thick piece of Styrofoam cut out on a scroll saw. I wasn't sure if the saw would tear it up or not but it actually cut through really clean and the edges are all perfectly square.
Nice Job! Looks great! Hasbro does plan to make the dispenser portion of the bar eventually. So hopefully we get one made.
That is awesome, very creative! It does the job perfectly, you live up to your name for sure!
Thanks BudgetJedi for your brilliant contributions !!! Can you tell us about the figures at the right ?
Hey bugetjedi I'm a long time watcher, but just recently started working on my own dioramas. I have collected at least one of every jedi and sith figure hasbro has ever maid. I would like to see you do a Star Wars control room scene with Han and Luke. I love your work, great suggestions.
My jaw dropped like 4 times during this video. Amazing work.
sorry I am late to this my friend, been on holiday. you have a gifted eye for items that can be used in a diorama lol, I love the drink dispenser section, looks awesome, the lighting was also a very good idea. great video man :)

AWSOME Diorama Man! You do some AMAZING things, with so little stuff.
You have a AWSOME imagination! It's really funny how some things we tend to look at,reminds us of Star Wars! Star Wars was such a BIG part of my life, and still is. Hey I was watching your videos, I feel you should do a video showing off all of your dioramas at once. A flashback to all your old projects.
Thanks bud that means a lot coming from you. Hope to see more of your work soon too!
thanks for watching kk, and good luck on finding ponda, but new vader shoudn't be too hard to find!
Really good diorama & nice figures!
Awesome job...you are so very talented...
Taking a break from my self teaching of After Effects...so here I am Lol...if I can round up the figures, I might try to remake this video verbatim....for it's my fave of yours, and the sheer humor of it would be epic hahahah
Really cool and inventive!
Absolutely a super good job well done man, keep up the good work.
You, my friend, are a genius! This is brilliant.

Wow i just remembered how good you are at Dioramas :)
Job Well Done!! I'm impressed at your display
Thanks much for the kind comment! glad you enjoyed it
Wow... just wow ! where do you even get your ideas for dioramas, man. just genius. this has got to be one of my favorites :-) well done, bro.
Forgot to say about this. Music. That playing in the background would sound nice bouncing off the walls of the diorama.
OMG! I need to make a bar room for my wrestling figures lol. I just love this.
probably not - hasbro has made all the chairs for them I believe. thanks for watching
You're always entertaining, great job
Awesome! Very Creative and Great!
Your work is amazing!
wow! bravo bravo man! top snacks! great job! really enjoyed watching this. I have to say youre very smart man to be creative. it really did do you justice. big thumbs up!
hahah so true mate! thanks so much for watching! yeah got lucky with those horseshoes because i was too lazy to make the bar from scratch!
You should cut that side wall out,and put the band members in there on a stage. That would be AWSOME! And remember to add some tea lights to some of the displays to help bring them to life.
Awesome! Love it! :D been watching a lot of dioramas for my minecraft adventure map!
