i see...a cantina would be fun to do and i would like to try it, except everyone does that scene. the alley way or some similar nondescript scene is a great idea that lets you use more of your imagination. you should check out Carl BouMansour's cantina diorama. good example of a small vignette type diorama
three words: WOW! this is an awesome piece of Star Wars Art, it´s incredible, the word fantastic is little compared to this! Congratulations and the time you spent worth it!
@cuboirs the major material i used was a double thick foam board for the walls. i just sprayed on the texture and used mostly brown/yellow and white/black acrylic paint. also i used sand for the ground...well good luck on yours. post it up when you are finished
I have never seen such beautiful work...at least not in my time...vey EPIC...I really have a lot to learn from you, maddwoba, and budgetjedi...thanks for sharing...
Wow, thats a mind-blowing diorama my friend!!! And i'm a sucker for tatooine. I was wondering how you got the doors to have that 3D look, and also how you got the ground/buildings to have that weathered look (the brownness) alright thx man!
Did you ever make a video regarding the moisture evaporator? If so could you share it? If not do you have any recommendations, tips or materials used to make that evaporators
No music allowed without the permission and payment -that's because of our fucking GEMA in Germany. Very, very realistic!!! Excellent work. Greetings from a model builder.
This is soo impresiv the backgroud picture is wooow that a master art man you are aowsoome, i loved to whatch this THANK YOU SOO MUTCH FOR MAKING THIS TO ME and the shout out mutch apretiated :) The work is soo well done realy aowsoome , if you sme day whanbt to sell this yyou will sell this on the same day taht you put it to sell defenely is soo great! Loved to whatch it! And the "custom" jedi clought looks realy like is a person Thanks also for mention my name in there.
Do the tutorial for the moisture vaporator! Also, you used the textured spray for the weathering near the base of the walls as well? What did you use to weather the plumbing pieces on the wall/floor (The stuff that's supposed to serve a purpose, lol)?
thanks a lot...in fact i took all the pictures (it was going to be a slideshow format), and threw them away recently. there was no way i could have made something useful from that. im sure by now i would find a way to streamline the process, but now if only i had some free time. as for the weathering on the pluming parts, i think it was just paint
I was at Home Depot last night and saw the textured spray tan painted that you show in this video… However they have like five different versions of it and was wondering if you can tell me which bottle did you use for this? Was there a specific type of texture? And how did you get the washed out dirty shaded look?
@andrezituu1 haha thanks...i wish i could have music without any problems, but sometimes they just block videos for no reason. i wanted to share this with everyone so its no problem if i posted it twice
NYRangersfan63 I did start it...I was about half way through with all the pictures and instructions but I lost all that stuff when my old PC died unfortunately.
Cool, that's why I like him. If you look closely to Mos Eisley in A New Hope there are a lot of random humans walking around that aren't action figures, so he fits well as a no name. Also, what did you make the moisture vaporator out of?
SHOOTTHAFAIR1 Yes and as much as the superfans want them, I dont think hasbro will ever make the random extra that even the old expanded universe never gave stories to...as for the vaporator, it was surprising to see how many cool stuff you can find at home depot plumbing section. its mainly plastic pipe couplings and wooden dowels to connect them together, and other craft sticks.
hola me llamo fran, siento no hablar ingles, estoy construyendo el set original de mos espa donde filmaron la amenaza fantasma, me esta quedando igual que el decorado real

The force is definitely with you... Love your artwork.
That is phenomenal! The level of detail is astounding, and I didn't even realize the back round was a painting until you talked about it!
Buck Wild Hey thanks a lot, that means the illusion worked. pretty good
Mate, that is amazing! The painting really takes the whole thing to the next level. Good job sir!
Even though I am way late to the party on seeing this vid, I just wanted to drop a comment to say how cool this project came out!

Very, very realistic!!! Excellent work. Greetings from a model builder.
thank you. I love what you model builders can do! I wish I could work with models and kits also, but im usually limited to craft materials.
Hehehe ;-)
That is why I don't add music anymore because it is always blocked in Germany---damn youtube--hahaha---
Great diorama! What texture spray did you use?
This is soo impresiv the backgroud picture is wooow that a master art man you are aowsoome, i loved to whatch this THANK YOU SOO MUTCH FOR MAKING THIS TO ME and the shout out mutch apretiated :) The work is soo well done realy aowsoome , if you sme day whanbt to sell this yyou will sell this on the same day taht you put it to sell defenely is soo great!

@americamgl
i used a wall texture spray i found at home depot
Very nice, like the stormtrooper checking out the bondage clad female

Totally blown away man, someday I will make a dio like this.
Great diorama .. but I'm wondering what are the walls made out of.
great work!!
can you tell me please what are the buildings made of (is it wood or card boards)?
foamboard
at 0;33 how did you go from foam boar plain black to the white textured look at 0;48 ?
I think you did a pretty damn good job :)
cool...i am currently experimenting with character stands that use painted backdrops
If only The Man himself could see this ? Love this !!!
really awesome!
Wow,fantastic!
Put the mandalorian in the middle of this and it would look sweeeeeeeet.😎👍
@theDoodler2
thanks

I cant remember but it was definitely one from the brand that was pictured. Think I chose the one with the finer grain...maybe the blue one.
What material did you use to create that texture for the buildings and walls???
Stunning! :D
Amazing!!!!
how did you make the doors
@PoweroftheForce2
thanks man
thanks...what scale would that be? H0?
@andrezituu1
haha thanks...i wish i could have music without any problems, but sometimes they just block videos for no reason. i wanted to share this with everyone so its no problem if i posted it twice
Did you use a template for the door design?
Did you ever do a tutorial on the moisture vapor thingy?
NYRangersfan63 I did start it...I was about half way through with all the pictures and instructions but I lost all that stuff when my old PC died unfortunately.
Is there anyway to get instructions on the moisture evaporator?
I had video clips and picture slides for that and was working on putting them together, but lost it when my computer crashed unfortunately.
thats really good man. Im actually doing the ewok village right now.
Amazing
good work...very nice!
thanks. someday i will make another one like this!
What's the name of the figure with the bucket hat and staff?
SHOOTTHAFAIR1 Man with no name...I just put some extra accessories on a figure from a comic pack, so its not a specific character
Cool, that's why I like him. If you look closely to Mos Eisley in A New Hope there are a lot of random humans walking around that aren't action figures, so he fits well as a no name. Also, what did you make the moisture vaporator out of?

Go for it! let me know if you have questions
thanks. it was the craps to get the illusion to work just right, but it was worth it
