    What is the purpose of the racing cups

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      End of the day this particular part is more cosmetic than it is anything else. There are some other applications where you have a full quick change setup where a cup like this one will be functional and assist with quick wheel swaps. - Van

      @@sportbiketrackgear if you’re just doing normal track days where you aren’t switching tires all day long, then it’s more feasible to have axle sliders instead?

    Any tips for removing the front stand? I have dropped the front of the bike several times since the front rotates while removing the stand.

      First off it I want to make sure to note that you never use a front stand without the bike being on a rear stand. You need the stability of the rear stand when using the front. Remove the front stand first, this should solve your problem. - Van

    Don't bother trying to buy Woodcraft stands for your motorcycle. They apparently can't make them anymore. They took my order and money in early March and kept stringing me along with changing delivery dates. I called them again yesterday and they basically said they don't even have a guess when they will be able to make them. So if you actually need stand(s), best to get them from someone else.

      Full disclosure, the owners and staff at Woodcraft our friends. With that said they are also good people who make excellent products. After reading your comments (you left the same BS on two videos) I reached out to them to see what's really up.
      You ordered stands in early March, they had a mandrel that is used to ben the tubing go down and reached out to you letting you know there would be a significant delay a few days after you ordered. The new mandrel comes from Italy and has been delayed. They are unable to produce stands for you or anyone else. (We have over 200 on order ourselves.)
      Sometimes shit happens that is out of your control. Running around the internet bashing them shows poor form and is unnecessary. If you can not wait just buy some Pit Bull stands, they are also excellent. - Van

      @@sportbiketrackgear I understand your financial interest in Woodcraft. But I strongly disagree with you labeling my issues with them as BS. I need a stand to do the required maintenance on my new bike. They took my money and order and kept pushing back the delivery date. I called them several times and each time it was going to go out in a week or two. Finally they were honest and said they have no idea when they will be able to make the product they continue to sell. If they can't fill orders, they should be realistic about if / when they can deliver them instead of misleading customers. The fact of the matter is that they are still actively selling vaporware products. THAT is unprofessional and unethical. I took my business elsewhere and shared my experience so others don't experience the same.

      You're probably better off, honestly. 2 years into owning my WoodCraft front/rear stands they're not really holding up as well as I'd like. Really difficult to adjust the heights compared to when they were new, and on the front stands, the supports don't really pivot as well as they did brand new, even with greasing, etc. Also the plastic wheels don't roll all that well, I find.

    Does this fit nicely on a 2015 R3?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With the R3 the headlift stand is a better option due to the shape of the fork at the bottom. - Van

    Great review! What brand and model is that table lift?

      That is a Handy lift we bought from a local Ducati shop that closed several years back. Thanks for watching! - Van

    No worries with damaging the wheel speed sensor on your r1? is Woodcraft's new front stand that only uses the holes underneath the forks a good option for your r1?

    • @GR8WHITEC5

      4 years and still no response. Your question is valid as my current junk stand, which I did not realize, was too close to my brand new speed sensor. Rubber pad bolt gently tapped and scratched the sensor on the first spin while up on the stand. I am lookingbat these as an alternate. But no response in 4 years. Hmmm.

    Good review
    Could you make a video on how to completely replace the swing arm on an R3

    So not sure if I'm just stupid or something but I have the stand setup the way it should. But when I try to lift my bike with the front stand I have to put all my weight on it and I'm sketched out because I feel like my bike is gonna fall. I have an s1k so the forks are different than a r1 obviously

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No worries. Also make sure you never use the front stand alone. The bike needs to be supported by the rear stand first.

    Would you know if this stand works well with a 2017 FZ-09?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes sir it will for sure, I had a 2014 FZ-09 and used a spooled rear stand. If you haven't installed a set of spools already be sure to grab a set when you purchase the stand. - Van

    I want to purchase the 26-0305 Under fork front stand- Pin lift style. I have a 2024 zx4r. Will this stand work with my bike? I cant seem to find a video with the pin style model.

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We have not shot a video with those supports. All of the forks have a hole in the bottom so you can access the fastener for the fork cartridge so there is no reason this will not work with your bike. -Van

      Pin style didn’t fit in the holes. Returned it and bought the front under fork stand and it worked 👍
