Fun tip I figured out recently: Give your garage floor a good sweep or make sure its clean before using these stands. little pebbles, chunks of dirt, or grit can stop up the wheels on the stands, which really really sucks when you are half way through the movement of pushing the stand down. Especially if it's just one wheel that stops, and the other keeps going...
THANKS for the information,, belive it or not its HARD to find a video of it being explained properly.,, i had never used one of the PIN stands (head stock stand ),, so didnt know how it operates,, i had a rough idea but wasn't 100%, sure .many thanks for the good advice and information. 👍👍👍
@bboynicku use your front and rear stand to get the bike in the air. Then you can use the foot peg stands for that, and rest the frame sliders on them. Other option is to use a single jack stand under the motor or wooden blocks under the exhaust. Once the bike is solid, remove the front stand and remove the front end. Dave Moss Host
take a look a the Put Bull stands web site for product pricing. Those are the ones I use exclusively and have done for years. Yet to break or damage one!
HOLD ON HOLD ON!!!! WOW!!! 10 years have really passed over Dave Moss, a waaaaaay better host now but I would've thought this video would've been 20 years at least haha
dave, what about if i need to change the complete front end(forks and triple trees)...i cant use the new front stand in that case because the lower triple is being removed as well. do i need jack stands that lift at the frame sliders in the front? so the pit bull jack stands wont work for me right?
@asmith929 As long as the converter can be firmly held on the lower stand, there's no reason why it shouldn't work. It MUST lock in the same way! Dave Moss Host
The traditional front stands will not work with the triumph Daytona 675 "at least the 2008 SE model" because it only has pinch bolts on one side causing the wheel to turn the other direction making it impossible to use. I would use the triple tree stand.
Cody Johanson I have a triumph daytona currently in a buddy's garage on a triple tree stand, have you ever had any problems with the triple tree stand? Or is it as good as they say
For the price pit bull and dealers charge for these stands, there is no excuse why they cant include a set of pins. Let's be real, it's a pin. The set of popular sizes cost them maybe $5 in materials.

Great info thanks! What do you recommend for front wheel chock stand for doing suspension tuning/work?
What if you have folding foot pegs?
I use the Baxley sport chock at tracks and in the shop. For stands, I have found that Pit Bull are by far the most durable.
I use Pitt Bull and also have a Abba sky-lift both work great for me .
hi sir can use that in yamaha r3???

how much for the set if stands and does the 250r have this hole in the fork?
Way too much. Each stand cost easily over $170. That's each..not a set.
great information
Is that a 2008 600???
