    Awesome video! I am using Trello for my GTD system and Evernote for Reference material. I was a bit unsatisfied with my projects list and project planning. So your video reached me at the right moment. I will try it your approach with Unito, thanks.
    After you created your Runway board with all the labels you can copy the board and change the list names. This is less work than creating all the labels manually.
    Just a few more tips from my experience, although not essential to the setup:
    1. You can also set up a voice dictate to your Trello inbox. I am using Siri to Trello with the apple shortcuts app. It is useful when driving for example.
    2. I am using a pending list beside my inbox list which will hold my clarified next actions which I have clarified but not yet organized (applied labels to). My processing session is alway clarify each item and then organize each item one after the other.
    3. As GTD is not about the tools, but about the right habits you can use another add on to keep track of your processing and reviewing habit. The habit tracker creates the according cards at a specified time (processing session at 4pm) and notifies you as well. Also make sure to block the time in your calendar.

    Your voice skills are great. It is a pleasure to hear clear native speech. The view on gtd in trello is also awesome

    Interesting to see you split projects and higher horizons - this is one of the problems I had, I felt like I put everything into one board. I will try your method, thanks for sharing!
    Btw, what I do to duplicate all the labels in a board is tag any card in Board A with all the labels and then copy that card to board B and you should have all the labels in board B as well.

    I love these label ideas! As far as "copying" labels, if you add a card, and then add all the labels to that card then move it to another board, that second board should get all those labels! So you shouldn't need to type it twice.
    Also hey congrats on the 1k subscribers goal! I'm also trying to hit that goal but very far away 😂
    For inbox shortcuts, I created a siri shortcut that create an icon on my homepage and with one click opens up a prompt and then it will send that to the Inbox. Hadn't thought about the widgets! That's really cool.

    Great explanation! I'm currently using Milanote, but it can be a little glitch sometimes and wonder if Trello might be a better fit for me. Thank you!

    Where and how do you get those emoticons/icons? I like the check mark in your 'Done' list. Would like to use that as well.

      Those are emojis. You can copy paste them from sites like getemoji.com if your keyboard has no shortcut for it.

    What exactly does the "Next" label do/signify? I'm struggling to understand this one since it seems to apply to every task here. Thank you!

    • @LucasPrigge
      @LucasPrigge  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Briana! A card with Next signifies that it's an action that can be performed now, with no time or other blockers in the way. Basically it is 'next up'!
      Not every task will always have the Next label. For example, if I should take out the trash on a Friday but it's Tuesday now, "Take out trash" is not a 'Next' task right now as there is a time blocker of 3 days. Unless you want the neighbours to complain 😅
      Does that make sense?

    When adding a youtube link to a card like you have, I don't get the same youtube thumbnail and the metadata from that video in the card? I just see the URL as plain text.

      Hmm. I can't replicate that problem, I'm afraid. It might be good to contact Trello support here.

    You can copy any card with Butler in another tablet. Then you don t need paíd a mirror subscribcion

    • @LucasPrigge
      @LucasPrigge  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, copying cards and one-way syncs are possible. However, for two-way synchronization (mirroring), Trello says:
      "Note: Don't use Butler for mirroring cards (two-way card syncing). In addition to the significant number of rules that would be required, it can potentially cause commands to loop infinitely when the action of one command triggers another. To keep card data fully synchronized between boards, use Trello Power-Ups."
      Mirror by Unito is such a Power-Up.

    I have watched many of your videos. Although you expalain really well, Trello is too complicated and not intuitive. The label, automation, mirror, and compete are all so much of a hassel. Tick Tick is way better choice. MKBHD is one of my favorite guys that has the best opinions and he uses Tick Tick as well.
