I love this review! Love how you don't talk slowly just to stretch time and what you're saying are actually useful stuff. I love the side comments/thoughts as well. Love that you split the screen with you talking and showing the covers to make it efficient. Quality of the video was really good too. All in all, really good review. For the longest time, I was collecting the omnibuses. I’d usually get a couple every Christmas, and I eventually gave in and bought them all. I then read the rest on the app and have been reading weekly since then.😊

Ive been reading weekly for about a year and a half. I bought the fire three box sets than read online after that. I recently got the 4th box set and now one all the volumes out (up to 98) it's awesome to own all of my top 1 series!

I felt like a kid once I got the fourth box set in the mail. Finally got all 4 box set and I’ve been flooded with school & work I haven’t found time yet to organize my collection to fit in the fourth box set 😩. Even made the box sets my Twitter header 😭

I recently got into the One Piece anime for the first time and loved it! Never collected manga before either so I bought the Japanese box sets 2 and 3 (first one was sold out) also to help practice my Japanese. Looking forward to see how it compares to the anime :D
Ive been reading one piece online for about a year, I have the first 45 volumes plus the 4th box set
I love holding a physical volume but man for those beautiful multipage panels look so good in a digital form. The art spanning 2 pages on a physical book is just harder unless you totally break the spine which would break my heart haha

The contents of volume 90 alone made me decide to collect the manga!! I'm a single volume collector because I bought the first 6 volumes (the ones with the metallic 'bronze gold' font) and some WCI/Dressrosa volumes at 50-80% less the price, pre-owned but in great condition.
I just need to buy Box Sets 2 and 3 to hasten my progression and some volumes found in box sets 1 and 4 when there's a chance. Now I'm waiting for the english release of Vol. 101
Started to buy One Piece 2004 when they came out translated in swedish. When thay ended the swedish translation I started to collect the english even the one i hade in swedish.
I'm a new OP fan and binged the whole series via the viz app over the summer. I would like to collect the series one day but for now I'm focusing on completing series that i already started before the manga shortages hit. Speaking of which right stuf finally shipped out my months-old backorder of Pluto and Monster volumes so manga reprints are happening! We just gotta be patient
i collect the singles i have the first box set and i have separetly all the volumes from 71 - 97 and i am trying to find box sets 2 and 3! also i read every week the new chapters digitally so i can be caught up and once i collect every volume i will reread it

got mine for $85 on abebooks! but I did see it for $135 on walmart. I think it’d be worth getting it at retail, but deals r always better

Just started my first manga collection. Right now I have all of Tokyo Ghoul, and just started getting Tokyo Ghoul: re. Right now I want to get other seinen series while still collecting TG:re, like monster, berserk, blood on the tracks, one punch man, vagabond, Vinland saga, etc. I also want to get a couple shounen series like Black Clover, Shaman King, and One Piece. I think I'll get the omnibuses for one piece, they're cheaper and in my opinion the spines look cleaner than all the different colored spines of the individual volumes. So far I've been loving Tokyo Ghoul, and can't wait to get into other great series :)

8:30 i do agree that it's a hefty price tag, but it's significantly cheaper than buying individual volumes overall or at least that's the case in my country.

I want the box set, but I only want it if I can buy all the box sets for $150 each. Since all the other box sets are expensive collectibles I'm gonna pass. But I'll definitely by the individual volumes. I would hope they would re-release the box sets but it doesn't seem likely.

I've been reading One Piece by buying the omnibus editions and ive gotten up to vol 10 of the omnibus (vol 30 for singles) and up until now there was only an issue of gettong vol 6 but now the next 11 omnibus editions are out of stock so its been a long wait for me :(

tbh the only way for me to read manga is physical volumes cuz online on my phone i just dont like but for me the only way to actualy collect one piece is via the box sets cus where i live its hard to get like 50% of the volumes like if i wanted to buy the first few volumes i could already not get vol 2 or 3 easy maybe on a slim chanse get it used but even then that would be rare so for me its boxsetes or nothing

Recently I've been getting interested in getting into One Piece. It's kinda gotten to the point of me really wanting to get the box sets. But all those volumes... I'm quite afraid that as of currently, I might just simply not have the space for all those volumes... 😢

box sets are probably cheaper to buy compared to singles, i buy most my manga from alibris and the first box set is 131 euro and singles are pretty much 12€/pc so it would be x2 more expensive to buy singles

Shot in the dark but im gunna ask and hopefully someone can answer. So i started collecting One Peice recently, i have the first two box sets. I got box set 1 off Amazon, box set 2 off Barnes and Noble. Im noticing the price for the individual manga volumes, in the box sets differ. For example. Box set 1 has volumes in it that are around 11.99 USD, while Box set 2 has volumes priced at 9.99 USD. Is there a specific reason?
i think its cuz they started reprinting the earlier volumes. viz is also now charging more, so newer print = newer price? not too sure tho
