EDIT: well it's kinda clear that never happened. it's perfectly fine for projects to be scrapped, especially with all the scope creep and dev team drama (which i accept as being my fault). if anyone's still interested in the project, i'm fairly sure there's some fan-revivals you can support. if any of the s2e team happen to read this, i hope things are good, and i'm sorry.

At one time one of my brothers was actually interested in making a scratch sonic game but it never panned out.
I've always wanted to do something like that even if it was just a colorswape for sonic.
Even though some of the games may be bad some of them were made with care and using limited resources.
Props to all of you scratch creators.

Ah, Scratch brings back good memories. I remember I made this decent (at least to my classmates) game called Sonic 2: Infinite Sky Chase. It's pretty much what you'd think it'd be, but I did add an online leaderboard that updated to show the highest score on each difficulty.
He took so long to figure out Cybershell came back that he left again

Actually a lot of Sonic scratch games are bad because Scratch updates broke it or it was really bad coded, thats why is important notice these gliches to the creator fix them and then it can have sucess

You should check out Scratch Mario games, I made one where Luigi clones himself multiple times and achieves world domination.
Meeen, some things on scratch are crazy, like minecraft 2d, flight simulator 3d, geometry dash, mario and sonic games, minecraft 3d. And YES, scratch have very big, active community, and if you know how to use it, you can make much proper games, it is EPIC and FREE

Yes, scratch is really limited but there are some extremely good projects. Here’s an example, the project is indeed made in scratch but it takes a toll on scratch so you have to run it on an external site we made for it, through turbowarp. scratch.mit.edu/projects/436973617/

Scratch can handle big games like A little cube that is made in scratch and is 1 hour playthrough but its convertet into an exe game so it can handle it.
Also I meant A little cube final encounter and also it should be passes on all endings at 1 run to have 1 hour timer.

As someone who used scratch for like 7-8 years, it's not actually very limiting. It just appeals to beginners wayyyy more than other platforms, so you can't expect to find a lot of projects that look like what you'd expect from other creation tools
The only reason I left scratch was because I couldn't publish off of it or make a career from it. I'd probably still be using it if not for that

In the first game you got Green Hill, Mushroom Hill, Metallic Madness, and Stardust Speedway (the floor is from Stardust Speedway).
If you think the tools of scratch is limited try using purple mash.(it sucks)
Actually the main creator of sonic 2 expanded was kick off of scratch leaving the updater in charge, trust me sonic 2 expanded had a hard development time
