Gasoline is not going under 450 a gallon all summer and it might hit $10 a gallon if there’s any hostile activity from oil producing countries. 125s makes sense all the sudden. But an XR 650 L makes more sense.
Bike feels powerful, you have it wide open, staying in the left lane blocking faster traffic that's passing you on the right, are you out of your mind or have death wish?
@@BlackSlimShady yeah, people keep saying that the mt07 is no good for the highway but I ride mine all the time on the highway. Cruising at 90 mph is a breeze.
@@williamwilson6499 it will cruise at 90 mph all day long. Yamaha claims a top speed of 133 mph. I was just pointing out how here in the United States many riders honestly think that anything smaller than a Harley Davidson bagger is too small for the highway. When I was a kid in the early seventies my parents would ride hundreds of miles on the highway two up on a 1973 XL 250. I guess things have changed a bit.
Hi, no it's not full throttle. That was a nice cruising speed that doesn't tax the engine too much. I would feel comfortable riding at this speed for long distances. It's nice knowing I could go faster if I needed to though. The bike seems happy at a speed of 90kph but easily surpasses 100kph.
Nice video and best of all it shows responsible riding! Well done! Wishing you many, many happy and safe kilometres.
Thanks a lot!
@@taigedavies325 hey man do you feel any vibrations at the top of the rev band?
It's just realy scary the first time😂😂 I went in the night(probably not the best idea) and the trucks coming past are crazy the 1st time
nice channel. I like vlogs that ask the real questions from a South African perspective. Keep it up
Thank you so much. I appreciate the positive feedback.

An XR650 L is a whole other beast. Beautiful bike and basically bomb proof.
Hey,whats your top speed youve hit on the highway?
1:11 Anyone who says that bike feels “powerful” is being ridiculous.
Thanks. Have a fantastic day further.
Can you tell me at about what Rpm's does the honda xr go when cruising at 70 or 80km/h
Gas consumption?
How far did you travel distance wise?

In South Africa the slow lane is on the left and the fast lane is on the right. Thank you for your comment.
@@taigedavies325 that's what fixento gets for trying to be a know-it-all. we'll give him a few seconds to find something else to whine about.
what a pleb haha
What is the manufactured country of this bike😮
Brazil
250cc seems to be the minimum for US roads.
Minimum for US ego is around 600cc

I want to get one of these mainly to ride trails. I'll ride it around town too but there's a lot of trails and places to fish that a car can't get to.
Nice video! Is it at full throttle at 1.40?
