Despite all of the movies weaknesses: Devon talking about the 4000‘s lack of humanity and KITT drowning and offering Shawn his chips and his last words to Michael always gives me goosebumps. And say what you want, but Michael installing KITT into the 4000 is the best scene of the movie!
It always drove me crazy how people said the Knight 4000 was "K.I F.T." No! It was just a random A.I. with Russ Maddock's voice installed in the Knight 4000 because of his ego. K.I.T.T. still retains his name in the Knight 4000 the same way he did in the '57 Chevy.
Definitely agree that scene with KITT in the 4000 was the best part - that along with the original car in the intro credits and Michael's roundhouse kick! I also appreciate the nods to the series and origin concepts, but sadly this movie (and any iterations since) have never lived up to the original for me...just made me appreciate what we had even more.
@@solidaudioTV Im fairly certain that wasn't the Hoff but it was an awesome kick. What never made any sense was why they got rid of KITTS AI?? Virtual reality which did nothing AT ALL except change the windshield color and some weird thermal stuff. All of which KITT could do. Its only thing was the stun capability. IMO KITT was the superior car in every way. The 4000 looked amazing but KITT would stomp all over it with ease.
This movie was terrible and no I completely disagree about KITT being installed into that ugly red thing as the best scene of the movie. 😆
They made one a few years back and it was terrible.
Knight Rider 2010 would have happen 10 years later after Knight Rider 2000. The big disappointment on the Knight Rider 2010 movie was that Michael Knight or anyone from his bloodline was not involve in that movie.
When i was younger i was super mad on this, but now looking back on this at 38, it is bad. I only watched it for KITT/KIFT. I miss the old Devon and Michael moments along with Bonnie, yeah April was alright.
I can't really say this is bad compared to the remake. The only thing good about that is K3000 whom i feel so sorry for, the rest of the series is full on romance and nothing to do with Knight Rider.
I've tried to watch this movie in full several times, but KITT is a black Trans Am. It's impossible for it to be anything else.
Knight rider 2000 in 1991. James Doohan as scotty in knight rider 2000 like to the year 2000.
I just wanted the 4K in Black.
how can I watch the full movie ? can anyone share a link ?
It was on Netflix but it went off yesterday with the series
kitt yelling?
This did not even have Bonnie or even April in it
Or RC
but at least it showed Devon and Michael, not like the 2008 series that barely showed a mature Michael Knight and had no sequels to the original car.
Hello Michael kitt car
KITT is not KITT in a different car :/
The Knight 4000.... The ugliest car ever made.
Hello kitt David haw
I wish this was never made
ford taurus’s and dust buster vans….the future 🙄
Ich mag lieber den schwarzen KITT
Knight Rider 2010 next!
Fukikae please🥺
No we may have to rely on human judgment
Knight Rider 2000 was an abomination. Just terrible. None of the charm of the original series. It's best forgotten.
Your dumbass opinion
Michael never was a "genius" in technology.
He was only good at dealing with criminals.
Michael hates fishing 🎣 yet he is seen doing it plenty of times in this movie.
Continuity errors in this movie are everywhere.
😆
I agree this movie should have never been Made.
Dont be harsh, it still has nostalgia factor and there are plenty more movies or tv movies that are way more crappier. Kr2000 was certainly not a masterpiece and may did not do justice to the OG, but it still has its place
9:52 why is it fwd??
Because the actual car the was used is a 1990 Dodge Stealth.
@@johnkramer7161 oh, thanks, I thought it's a 4th gen Firebird
9:50 Eh... KITT was front wheel drive in this movie? 🧐🤨😱
Yes. The car that was used as KITT is a front wheel drive 1990 Dodge Stealth with a custom fiberglass body on it.
