  • Do you love the convenience of a sliding knot on a bracelet or necklace but you don't like the look? In this week's tutorial I demonstrated how you can to cover the knot and make it look pretty while you're wearing a bracelet with a sliding knot. In the process, I made to be making a pretty crystal bracelet.

    Great video, thank you for taking the time. There are so many bracelets out there with the strings hanging, is there anyway to take one of those bracelets and eliminate the strings somehow. Personally I cannot stand the way they look or the way they feel. Thank you again 🤠

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Harley, not really because you need them to open the bracelet. Personally I don't like them either because they tickle my wrist. I would change the bracelet to a stretch one and eliminate the knot altogether. You might need to add an extra bead to do this though.

      @@The_Stylish_Maker Thank you vey much for your reply. I don't suppose you could make a video showing how to do that? 🤠

    Pretty. I like the color of the string showing through the beads. Not fond of the 4 ends sticking out, however. Seems incongruous.

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Deborah. I agree about the ends. That's why I don't use sliding knots very much. Some people love the ease of them though.

    Thanks for that demonstration. I will have to watch that a few more time though I can give that a go, but I'll give it a try. I don't know how to hide knots in small chips gemstone beads, they have such tiny holes.

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much. The only way to hide a knot is with a larger holed bead. Gemstone chips would be used in exactly the same way if you can find cord thin enough to go through the holes, then use a smaller tube to hide the knot just like I did.

    • @floatingisland544
      @floatingisland544 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@The_Stylish_Maker Thanks, the holes are pretty small, so I guess I'll have to settle for a knot between the chips. It's not too noticable and I don't mind it for myself, but when it's a present for someone I just want it to look perfect.

    I’ve been watching you for a while, and I love your designs, tips, advice etc. I’m just beginning to get into stringing with all wire, cords, etc. I am basically a bead weaver at heart but I am loving 🥰 stringing. Do you have a website where people can talk to you I.e. blog? Are you on Facebook? I would hope to be the first to sign up! I live in Florida and my name is Claire. I hope you have a great new year 🎉 as well.

    I would have used a small bead to thread both strands through either side so you end up with just one strand either side... Maybe thays just me but a very useful tutorial- thank you!

    • @The_Stylish_Maker
      @The_Stylish_Maker  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much, Karen. Yes, that would have been ideal but I didn't have time to find a small bead with a hole big enough for the two strands.
