This is probably the only video I’ve seen with proper and clear instructions. The other tutorials seem puzzling and always end up overwhelming me. Contrastingly, this video is very understandable and easy to follow and it has helped and taught me so much. Thank you!
Thank you so much! this is the first video I have found where I was finally able to finish a square knot bracelet, I gave up on all the rest videos that were "teaching" beginners. Best instructor ever! All the other people who teach go way too fast, do too much talking and don't know how to explain it well plus they only do it once and think everyone got it. I'm so thrilled with my bracelet!
SO helpful and easy to follow!! I've been trying for hours to create a knotted closure, and now in under 10 minutes, I've got a solid solution. Thank you!!
Thanks a million the way you made this video was fabulous with lot of patience and guidance in each n every step. Unlike many where they show you something and then they show you the next clip. Thanks a million again.
Great tutorial, thank you. Being dyslexic I've always found it hard to follow tutorials. I quite often have to give up and try to find a more clear one but your was very easy to follow. Much appreciated
This video is going in my library. I mastered this type of closure years ago but I so rarely use it that I forget how to do it when I need it. Thanks so much for doing this one.
Wow!!! I’m literally sitting here trying to fix my anklet while watching this video at the same time and I just have to say WONDERFUL BREAKDOWN! My anklet is now fixed! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you!!! This is the best tutorial I’ve seen. I actually wanted to try it months ago, but other tutorials were either not clear enough (vid quality) or their explanation was not clear/concise enough. I feel confident in doing this now. Again, thanks!!!
The clearest instructions for the knot. I found it useful for finishing my hand made "Hard clothing" for books. I need it to be adjustable, because some books are thin and some are thick. Thank you for the video, I wish you all well
I've saved your video to my favorite tutorials, and *thank* *you* for letting us know what materials you are using! For newbies that saves tons of trial, error, cost, & frustration :)
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!!! I can’t tell you how many videos I watched trying to understand how to make this darn knot, and you explained it so very well!!!! Thank you very much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
subscribed and liked. best tutorial ever! every other tutorial named a bunch of knot methods to use without detailing how to do whatever they listed. this was fully in depth yet felt so fast to do and i thank you so much! this video helped me fix my bracelet my sister gave me a few years ago and i promised to take care of it for her and recently the string was falling apart so i had to buy a new one and didnt know how to recreate the sliding knot!! thank you so much
Thanks so so much for this, my son came home with a simple cord bracelet that his teacher had given him, but the thing had come unraveled. There was the bracelet itself and a shorter piece of matching cord and he told me that the shorter cord was used to tighten it somehow. For the life of me I couldn't work out how until I found this video, this is so simple and ingenious! I've saved for the future. Much appreciated!
Great multipurpose knot! After following your instructions to finish a bracelet for our daughter, I used the same technique for my sweatpants. Much better then before! 🤓
Thank you! I was able to do it in my first try to my first rosary bracelet! Very helpful and so easy to follow! Can I give you a million likes 😊? Wish I could!
This is my favorite closure for a macrame bracelet! How funny though, I do it opposite of the way you do it - I lay the first cord over and then go under and around with the second cord. I guess it doesn’t matter, you get to the same place both ways!! At the end, I make a double knot and glue it with GS Hypo glue and then cut the ends. I use a thread burner to melt down the ends… 💜
Thank you very much this is the best tutorial that I've seen thanks for your patience thanks for your professionalism you are very good at what you do.
This is an amazing clearly worded with comprehensible explanation of what is being taught. Lovely little item too. Do you allow the items you show to be made and sold for charity please?
I would love to see a tutorial on adding beads with macramé. Can you please do a tutorial on the bracelets you have as samples in this video, love your work and videos you have taught m so much. Thank you
Hi Gina, You are such a blessing you are. Gina you are a very gifted teacher. When do you think you'll be teaching the beaded bracelet class. I am so excited. My name is Robilyn.
thanks for this video! it works with regular embroidery floss bracelets too! although i’m a bit afraid that it’ll unravel since i just knotted it tight rather than burning it. guess we’ll see 😬🤞
This is so helpful!!!!!! My first sliding knot looked SO WONKY like a piece of crumpled paper with holes in it. Frankly, you made it SO clear and helpful! Also, I LOVE that you can make it so well, Thank you! 😻😼🍥
Hi Marie! I am SO glad you found this tutorial clear and helpful! Thank you so much for watching! Sometimes things just don't turn out looking as we planned, but that can definitely be part of the learning process! I hope your next one looks great 💜💜💜
Omg thank you it makes me enjoy making bracelets even more now that I can adjust the bracelet to take it off instead of cutting it cause I would just tie a not and not be able to take it off
Hey Gina! Guess what? I DID IT!! I made your adjustable sliding square knot closure and I am amazed at how easy it was. I've order some supplies so I can start making bracelets but until my supplies come in, I've been practicing with yarn. I sure do appreciate you taking the time to make the videos and then sharing them with us. Honey, you made my day!!
Great tutorial! Do you have a tutorial on the bracelets themselves? It appears one is made with magatama beads and I have lots of them I'd like to use. Thanks!
