I recently used Magic Mender on the Sand Beige interior of my 2010 Porsche Boxster, with 133,000 miles. Repairs were to the shifter boot (including a 1 inch tear), driver’s side seat bolster, and various nicks and scratches in the vinyl parts. The kit and instructions were exceptional and the results exceeded my expectations. It’s been two weeks since I did the repairs and so far the repairs are holding up well. The color match is perfect. The repairs look like new. I highly recommend the Magic Mender product, as the color and texture is perfect and the surface of the repairs supple and natural.
Looked that the Magic Mender website and they are an easy read of what to expect. Interesting company and works for all leather products in auto and home! Thanks for the review, staying tuned for part-2!
I recently saw a video you post from about s year ago on cleaning leather. You completed the task using a magic eraser and diluted spray nine cleaner. You then followed with qp no3 ( I think) as a protectant. Do you still recommend this process for simple cleaning and protectant?
Brian, is that the leather cleaning tool the rag company sells? How do you like it? Is it effective and does it hold up over time? It almost looks disposable.
Head over to part two !
Magic Mender is only one of many decent Leather repair kits...have you tried one!!
