Rumored to be the cradle of Cambodian civilization high atop a forested hilltop lies the relatively unknown mysterious ancient temple of Phnom Da - considered to be the oldest in Cambodia. From the off the beaten track French colonial old town gem of Doun Kaev - otherwise known as Takeo city - I make my way by boat to Phnom Da & also to its associated town of Angkor Borei & uncover a part of Cambodia little known by outsiders.
