It is not quite right, umpires can/may only give each side, either single or double 1 yellow card per match, after the first yellow card, the following breach, give minimum a red card.
@@poulbgebjerg7810 BWF Statutes, Section 4.1: LAWS OF BADMINTON Chapter 16 Administration of breach 16.1.7.1 doesn't say anything about limiting an umpires ability to issue multiple warnings in either version, one from 2022 and one from 10 years ago, I found.

Out of curiosity, if a doubles player receives a black card, does his/her team get disqualified or does his/her partner still play on 1 v 2?

I"m sorry. But that is not correct my friend. That rule apply to most sport but not badminton.
