Lincoln really went for the tech and styling in this generation of Nautilus. While to an enthusiast, this vehicle doesn't make sense, anyone interested in screens galore and sharp styling, this is the ticket. Not in the Black Label trim, as it is a terrible value, but the lowest trim with the middle package is a fairly decent value. Everyone these days is cost cutting, so no surprise to see this not try to hide its cosmetic luxury status. If you want actual luxury from Lincoln, you need to step up to at least the Aviator. And it won't be that difficult to step up to the Aviator, as it has a lot of price overlap with this new Nautilus.
One of my pet peeves about Lincoln is that they lock you out of the touchscreen as far as the phone's keypad while driving. The virtual phone system that I use requires the pressing of "1" to accept a call. GM does not lock you out but my previous Lincoln's did. Have they made an adjustment to this in the latest models?

Style wise, I think it's a nice progression for Lincoln, but I think they missed an opportunity of giving customers a reason to want this, like a V6 engine. It may have made the ridiculous price a bit more convincing because the sound quality of Ford's 4-cylinders, and most of their engines, sounds agricultural at best. 0:06 the timing of the door chime is so OFF. Irks me. Pretty lazy of Ford.
3:42 American rattle
I own a 1972 Buick Skylark & I daily drive it as well, this is absolutely insane to see 😂😂
Is it green with white vinyl top?
@@zoner__ No mine is gray & is not a convertible
saw one of these on the road. The Nautilus badge "stripe" thingy protrudes weirdly far into the front door and also a 4 cylinder for this much money is absurd, like the top commenter said. Pretty good looking SUV though. Rear looks stolen directly from Audi but as an Audi guy, I don't hate that lol
I have a hard time justifying this when you could get an RX350 for cheaper
Got any of them screens to go with your suv?
One of my pet peeves about Lincoln is that they lock you out of the touchscreen as far as the phone's keypad while driving. The virtual phone system that I use requires the pressing of "1" to accept a call. GM does not lock you out but my previous Lincoln's did. Have they made an adjustment to this in the latest models?
For 100K car in EU it should have standard electric reclining of the back seats and more...
The dash reminds me of a 4th gen Prelude!
Beautiful vehicle
I'd never pay that much for a 4cyl
Nice Video.
You could get a nice used Range Rover for $74k, and you'd be crazy to choose this over one
which is funny because you have to be batshit insane to choose an used Range Rover over, well, anything really
That wraparound almost makes it feel like a boat.
This interior remember me Peugeot I-Cockpit
A Lincoln that is built in China…for 80k?!🤦 I personally drive a Corsair and I find the fit and finish to be extremely horrible and unacceptable for its class of vehicle.
If it's 'extremely horrible' then why'd you get it
@@doit2winCertain things you find out months or years after you bought a car no matter how much you look it over prior.
@@whitegoodman7465Pays to do your own fit/finish research prior to spending money on things I guess. Esp if it was my own money
@@whitegoodman7465 this dude has never been in a relationship or he'd know things are a little different after a couple months lol
This is in x3m territory... Lol. Who's buying this
Im i the only one but this interior it the first one i have like a cozy home feeling in? I looks so home lik and nice :) i drive the w206 c class that feels futuristic but ik topgear one of the presentor also told a no car feels like home because no home is filled with leather. And how this lincoln is set up is really nice tbh :)
Even times square has less screens and flashy lights.
what model are your shoes? look great
The giant wall of screens looks so 80s concept car tbh
This entire car was designed to impress idiots in the showroom. If you’re impressed by a screen with corny widgets you deserve to get fleeced for 80k
lol...Lincoln really got ahead of themselves...Such a large screen is not needed for a few widgets. I would understand if this were an airplane where a lot of vital information is necessary.
Every manufacturer is going that direction because that's what customers are asking for.
@@66skate Yeah consumers like a lot of dumb things like gambling, drugs, etc. Doesn't mean it's good for you
@@andyh4464 Everyone including me does plenty of dumb things. But that's life.
@@66skate they are going that way because its MUCH cheaper to put everything behind a screen than it is to build individual molds and pieces for every button, knob and lever on an interior. And since brands call it "luxurious" customers are glad to pay an extra for an inferior product
One word for the exterior. Honda. One word for the interior: BEEP.
You mentioned standard AWD. The Edge comes standard with AWD, so would this just not be the lincolm version of that and not the Escape?
Style wise, I think it's a nice progression for Lincoln, but I think they missed an opportunity of giving customers a reason to want this, like a V6 engine. It may have made the ridiculous price a bit more convincing because the sound quality of Ford's 4-cylinders, and most of their engines, sounds agricultural at best. This largely goes unnoticed to the public, and barely got any attention when it launched. Like the rest of Lincoln, it fades into the background of the automotive world.
best mom car
80k and no vented rear seats or rear climate. A 50k Honda pilot has rear climate.
Something like this should have AT LEAST a V6.
The dash board doesn't look good
That is a cool looking Lincoln they are my favorite Luxury cars
No rear climate??? Missed opportunity. Wow
When is the Aviator getting redone?
Love those tires.
It's definitely over priced
