Imagine seeing these XL SUVs coming full speed in you're rear view mirror😮... and look at the size of those rims. True it is insane, and their headlights are just too bright those blasting LEDs on the newer ones are very high and far directly in our eyes make it almost impossible to drive at night
@ I have a 14 WRX hatch and was behind a 24 GMC Yukon. If I would’ve rear ended that thing, it looked like the front of my car would’ve slid up under underneath it.
@@GT-RTData9 Regular sedans look like go carts next to these monsters. They are just rolling asteroids on the highway because of their mass and force emitted during even minial impact with whatever. And this one is body on frame which is worse.
That big delay and slow reaction to the accelerator pedal is honestly a little scary! Thanks for this review. I think it can help people make a much more informed decision.
You know it's bad when a Crosstrek will dust it in acceleration lol. We rented a previous generation model and tooled around in Pasadena and it definitely was comfy for hauling people around town. 100 stacks is a lot of money, though.
They nailed the design and I've already seen a few on the road. The only issue with this is the massive depreciation. It's going to be very hard for Nissan to sell this at full price. It's a genuinely nice body-on-frame SUV that's still made in Japan.
You were wrong about the Klipsch headrest speakers - they are fully functioning speakers in addition to being able to take phone calls in privacy, keep nav prompts to driver only, etc. (Private Audio).
Nice review Matt, Infiniti you can tell put a lot of cash into this, good to see they have a flagship SUV. I personally am still very sad Infiniti copied the Lincoln/ Ford model and now they have no cars (sedans) at all. I am not just saying this because I love my Lincoln Continental, but I really feel a luxury brand should have at least one flagship car (sedan) or at least one mid size sedan like the Q50 at least. I know many will say it is smart to have just crossovers and suvs, but I think some will get sick of these houses on wheels. I personally miss the Infiniti Q70 flagship sedan ( I almost bought one) the Q50 mid size sedan (they were sporty) , and again I really miss the of the best looking luxury coupes the Q60. If I ever buy a coupe it would be Jaguar F type and the Infinti Q60, realistically Infiniti for reliability, over Jaguar, but Q60 is very sharp. I hope this helps save Nissan/Infiniti I personally feel sadly it is too little, too late, but I hope they get through this. Hate to see Nissan and Infiniti gone. One side note from driving the last generation Lincoln Navigator 2018 -2024, they do have the best ride, better than Escalade, Lexus, Audi, BMW and Infiniti. Drove them all back to back years ago at an event, hands down Lincoln nailed comfort and ride, quietness, Cadillac was second, Lexus third for ride, comfort, quietness. about 7 to 8 years ago when the new Continental came out for 2016 as a 2017 model, Lincoln got serious about going back to their roots of comfort, refinement, and luxury, then 2018 the new Navigator came out, shocked everyone. Full disclosure I own American and Japanese cars, I am not a Ford/Lincoln fanboy, just giving my honest thoughts.
The Infiniti has always had an American swag to it that it is a genuine competitor to the Americans. Bimmer and Benz are essentially non players in this segment
Mmm I prefer the Jeep Grand Wagoneer for the bordering perfection of the entertainment system with front screen in the passenger side for example and of course the roomy and comfortable space and capabilities of off road. Thanks for share 🙏🏼 👏👏🏼👏🏿👏🏾👏🏻

I can't believe the new charger weighs the same as this.
This is the best Asian entry in the segment full stop
Though, to be fair, there is only one other Asian competitor. :)
@ but the less said about that other Asian competitor the better as that other rival is just as bad as a Mitsubishi mirage
@@naveenthemachine I love how you always choose the worst competitor 😆
No need or desire for a giant SUV, but I'll give them that it looks real sharp!
SUV’s are getting way too big. Cars are getting way too big period.

Because consumers are getting too greedy!
@@GT-RTData9 All this loser does is jumps in suv videos and complain how big they are 🤣🤣🤣

This isn't a SUV it's a bus.
LOL they axe the q50 and q60 but redo this land toaster?
SUVs outsell sedans 8:1, SUVs generates profits more than sedans.
@TheLaw_11 cause of people like you lol. Plenty of non npc people want drivers cars
Suvs has gotten way too big i don't get how cars has to follow all these rules but suvs can be as big & as heavy all they want
Great review and I would love to buy this SUV.
At least since the screens are separate I can fix carplay unlike the new escalade. Can't wait to pick one up next year for 40 grand
The mother company is on borrowed time, I've got NO IDEA how Infiniti has made it this long for that matter🤔
Ate up all of Nissan's money.
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 How could they have? Their lineup has been so stagnant.
@@05Forenza good question, yeah I don't know either

The front end really reminds me of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross funky top headlight design.
could it be a software issue causing the huge delay in throttle response on this particular model? 3 second delay in turbo lag is too much.

So those headrests wont blast dolby atmos?

Is this the Infiniti QX80 Autograph?
I'm getting one
Delayed throttle response is a dealbreaker for me, for any car.
$100k vehicles are for 10% of the population. You cannot comfortably afford this vehicle unless you make $300k/year. Math & Facts.
You're not the best at math
Huh? What are you basing this off of lol
Should've named it Gigantor.

You might as well be driving a school bus lmao
I love this vehicle.
They are shutting down stand alone Infiniti dealerships and merging them with Nissan dealers

I’ll wait for the price but I hope it’s cheaper than the gx because that suv is drop dead gorgeous
$50k tops for this thing. Nissan is delusional wanting over $100k for this toaster
Ok grandpa

Also made in Mexico
The Grand Wagoneer is made in Michigan, not Mexico. Stop lying.
It also has a better engine than this Infiniti.
